Hey, just got into modding today. I downloaded a bunch of character skins like FBI green and LAPD swat. I was just installing them into the Paks folder and realized that first of all there are two files, one normal and one legacy. Which one of these is correct? I then realized that some mods had the same names, so can I only install one skin mod at a time?

Mostly I just use cosmetic mods to change the skins of the weapons and the uniforms of my team. But there was a nice mod that increased the size of the flashlight beam (pulled down because it was out of date). But there's also quite a few mods that change the AI's behavior that have been updated for this June patch.

Depends on the mod. If you have an AI mod installed, both you and your friends will use it. But if you have a skin installed only you will be able to see it

There's a setting in your menu that you can toggle, which lets people join your server if they don't have matching mods

Not currently. But you can change the file extension of the mod and it won't load

Just remove the .pak and add it back when you want to use the mod again
