anyone know why I can't see custom gloves like the Mechanix ones included in many mods in first person but in the mirror while they are equipped ? Also the long sleeves do not appear in first person even though they are visible in the mirror. I use the required Vest fix mod and just one skin at a time.

This is my first time modding Ready or Not. I looked at how to do it and it didn't look too hard. Just extract the pak file into Paks. However, I did that and now my game crashes on the Lobby loading screen, almost instantly. I have only tried single player, though. Any help would be appreciated.

My problem with that was it would kick me from whoever I'm joining saying paks don't match. Each of us tried joining someone different and we each got that error. If it worked for you I'd LOVE to know how!

Turn off serverside checksum in game options. Settings > "game" scroll all the way down

All it does is stop checking to see what mods you have compared to others

Keep in mind that stuff like AI mods require the host to have them, stuff like skins/weapons are on the client side unless they use in-game assets, and maps require everyone to have them

You ACTUALLY got my hopes up that you somehow figured out how to throw in 500 suspects...even if you change it to that number. The game only recognizes the maximum number allotted in the uasset AIDataTable. Nice click bait though

Bruh that is what I changed of course it is not going to have 500 spawn as the game picks s number between 0 and 500 but setting it to 500 make it prefer more over less, if you watched the video you see that the amount of suspects that spawn is around 5x more then vanilla, I also removed all civilians and trap spawns. I have been modding GTA V population configs for many years now (which is probably only second in place to RDR2 with the most advance AI/Population in a game) even doing the impossible and adding a whole new police dispatch system without the need for scripts, so editing basic ai/spawning in RON is a walk in the park for me

Also I didn't claim that I had 500 suspects spawn, I said I increased the MAX number of suspects to 500, so where is clickbait, it's obviously much more hard if your swarmed with suspects isn't it?

Suspect cap is based upon the number of available spawns. If there are one 40 spawns, the max will be 40. This prevents issues regarding AI merging into eachother.

You could probably mod in more spawns, which is something I will test soon.

Bonjourno, has anyone found a way to change music track length yet or is it hard coded somewhere

Just looking for an easier way than hacking tracks down to fit the vanilla music length

But the audio never played in the map level bank file after rebuilding

as a test i replaced the music in club with a 2 minute loop, it cut it off at 55 seconds (The length of the original song)

and when i made a loop that was under 55 seconds, it looped until 55 seconds elapsed and started again

Specifically, put the files in that folder, don't create another folder inside the pak folder

Hmmm, I don't know which to recommend personally. The mod most people used for that was terrorist hunt, but that's outdated last I checked. I believe you could try in-game menu, that may allow you to do that but, otherwise I'd say use a mod to edit the pak yourself

Steps

1. Download Kroznky's ai mod, set it all up

2. Extract the windowsnoeditor pak ai config using extract.bat

3. download Unreal engine 4 creators license I use

4. Go to modding guide and look at Basics->creating a pak file

5. Then look at Misc->Easy ai modding

6. End file structure should be: pakchunk99-Mods-ExampleMod_P (folder) -> Config -> AILevelData.ini

7. Drag this folder into the Pak bat

Edit the aileveldata.ini to however you want, to repak it drag the folder into the pak bat

As mentioned above, use a programme such as winrar, or something that is capable of opening rar files. Within the rar it should be layed out similarly to a folder, I assume there will be instructions within the rar file of where to drag the files inside. If you need any help pop a ping.

Hello, this is a bug but mod related issue, so I'll just place this here. So basically I started getting mods for the game and played it with mods on my own, but when my friend desired to join I would disable them since he didn't care for mods himself. Although, once I did the server still said I needed the same mods as the server. At this point, I just uninstalled all my mods and then joined him, but the same message appeared. I tried launching through steam, too with all my mods uninstalled and the same thing happened. So, I told my friend that it was either I uninstall and reinstall the game or he installs mods as well. He went for the latter of course, but the same message still appeared when we both had the same mods installed. After this, we both uninstalled our mods then launched the game through steam and the same thing occurred. At this point we just both uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but the same thing happened. Unfortunately, it's been past 2 weeks so we cannot refund the game. Assistance would be much appreciated, thanks.

there shouldn't be any folders in your paks folder, just the .PAK. Also make sure your not just downloading all files of a mod, many mods have multiple variations, and placing all would cause it to break.

You can use the same mods with your friends but if you go to game options and disable server checksum you can also play with different mods than your friends as well, as long as the host has it disabled.
