Manually installing paks is super easy and the preferred method. Vortex tends to cause issues

There's very few things you can do at the end of the day. If load order doesn't fix it, very little can. I know the mod has worked as of LSS2 but I can't speak as to LSS3. As such, I suggested contacting the mod creator. I feel as though that was a reasonable suggestion.

You cant.
For modding, you need access to the system, which you do not have with Geforce Now.

Its a cloud system and therefore your access to the "machine" is very limited or not even available at all.

It might work with the Mod.io integration, but theres like 5% (if even) of available mods.

Are they from before the most recent patch?

Every patch/update will, for some reason, break your mods

You'll have to delete all of them, including any in the mod.io folder

Also all mod files in your content/paks folder

Then hope and pray the devs of the mods you like update the ones you like to use

hello guys do you know how to change the size of a laser ? I ask it because some modded weapons doesnt use vanilla laser and they're not bright at all ( almost invisibles except the beam ) and i wanted to know how to fix they're size/brightness. don't know what mods are causing you problems but with Simple Mod Menu, there's nothing to install. Just copy those files and once you're in game/in Police Headquarters, press M to open the menu

I only see the limit player adjust and the level selector. Custom loadout. But nothing about mod

nothing to apologies for. The mod will automatically work just by copying those files to Paks folder. Once in game, just press M to open the menu. That's all

in the window that pops up once you press M, you can select maps, force start a mission instead of waiting for your teammates to ready up, access your loadout (top right corner of the window) etc.

If your on the Los Suenos Stories Patch #3 version, it should just show up in game if you add the weapon mod pak, since weapon loading was built-in to the game itself.

Maybe it's different if your on a non-steam store version, otherwise link the weapon mod page so we can check if it's compatible.

most mods before 11/09/25 will not work, the only ones that works are VOs and weapon additions/skins not depending on any outdated libraries (i.e might need to update SBL and Doughtnuts/EAA/Ballistics if your mod depends on it), all character models such XK and Moshing are broken and will need to be re-dl with new updated files

You might find something on nexusmods or something, but I would personally not advise any modpacks due to the issues they can bring. It is hard enough to get loads of mods to be updated for the current version, and these modpacks will be outdated, or rather the mods inside them will.

Alright, if you press play, you should be able to choose one of the four startup options, if that is not the case, then you have to right click the game in your library, click on properties and in the general tab there should be launch options at the bottom I believe, unclick "remember my preference" or whatever it is called and launch the game in safe mode

Use a modded gun maybe? MCX Spear CQB has enhanced 6.8 so its a 1 tap. By using damage rebuff hard it will be easy for you to get 2 tapped also

To my understanding LSS patch 3 made the mod redundant and addon weapons can now be made without but this didn’t effect all older addon weapons so those weapons would need to be updated to work overall you should stick to downloading up to date mods.

It appears obsolete bc of the most recent update removed the need for certain asset loaders bc i think they are loading in automatically. (item asset loader was also effected this way)

1.) AP 6.8 grendel
2.) JHP 6.8
3. Enhanced 6.8 (This is the one u want)

almost non existent, i run on single fire anyway because of the damage. There is another gun made by the same author with similar enhanced ammo. that one has no recoil in full auto. also note that both of these guns have "knock down animations" that will knock down a sus/civ for a few seconds.

Honestly all you need to do is read a mod description. Most of them explain where you drop the file. There are YouTube videos about it. If you dont read mod descriptions and understand what ur downloading your gonna have a bad time. My recommendation is watch some videos and join modded lobbies when u see them on. You will learn more tips as you play and mod

LAPD has the biggest arsenal, so you could really just download machine guns and it would be realistic. You have clothing mod there for that too, AI; generally anything that makes the AI responsive but not broken. Generally for weapons I would go for the M4's, HK416's or MP5's

cuz lapd doesnt use them but idk why. If it's just cost, then it could also be considered realistic and just assume the LSPD is richer than the LAPD.

Yes, for example if we consider real life Washington (the state) police department, all of their SWAT rifles seem to be suppressed. I can't imagine why LAPD would never use something like that. Generally to answer yes, suppressors are acceptable and used by Law Enforcement across the world

Yeah, suppressors are not "aliens" to police departments. SWAT members definitely have the clearace to use them, but it is not especially needed because suppressors are rather expensive, they require specific sub-sonic ammunition and they do not cancel sound in some exceptional way as some games make you believe. It is probably that the cost does not justify the performance.

No, I checked and the game has the same .pak and .sig files, but it doesn't load any mods in ReadyOrNot. In fact, the MODIFICATIONS option doesn't even appear within the game like it does in the STEAM version.
That's why I asked if there's a way to launch launch modes like STEAM, SAFE MODE, DIRECTX 11, 12, etc., or is it just that EPIC GAMES, although they told us that they work since they're for PC, they don't work if it's from EPIC and only the STEAM option works on PC...

It’s not working because the game no longer uses .wav files (you need to convert them to .ogg), and many voice file names have changed with lots of new voicelines added.

To fix it, convert the .wav files to .ogg and replace the new voice files with the existing ones
