That shouldn't have anything to do with the splash change you can of course test by reverting or just launching in safe mode as if your game launches in safe mode it implies it's a pak mod causing it.

I mean if it's another mod causing the problem it's up to you to troubleshoot and find it. You can start by verifying that's the case by only downloading the replacer and required mods and installing only those into your paks folder and moving anything else out.

Is there a way to quickly update old level mods to the new version of RoN? There are some really cool levels from earlier this decade which have been broken and forgotten about ever since Adam

The only way to do it I know of is to convert it into a modded map and that is by no means a quick or easy way to do it and you likely won’t find one. All modded maps currently do not work but updates to get them working again should be rolling out soon so if you wanna go that route you can still get started now or you can just wait for modders that have already done this for some of them to update their maps.

Currently, as it stands, it seems that for IGM or any other mod, creating an update or a new mod isn't possible due to the change from Steamworks to EOS (Epic Online Services). Void appears to have a fix prepared for this, but it still needs to be implemented. Hopefully, they'll include it in the next patch, which is expected sometime this week. However, all that's known about that patch at the moment is that it should address the current unintentional graphical issues in the game.

According to some readings, it can reach up to 30 meters in long hallways indoors.

You seem to be on an older version of the game based on that 23-Windows.pak as the latest version of the game only has windows.pak going from 0-22 with additional .sig files named the same going from 0-22 for a total 46 vanilla game files. That being said updated mods are very likely not to be backwards compatible for older versions.

Yes and you can tell yourself by reading the upload/last updated date anything uploaded/updated on or after July 15 will work since that's when the big update for Los Suenoes Stories/Ronsole dropped. Mods labeling themselves with LSS or Los Suenoes Stories is a big hint towards them being up to date as well.

Still having trouble with my weapon replacers. The UI shows that it's just the vanilla weapons, but the models are of the mod and I can't use any modded attachments.

All I can say it's a conflict of some sort you can confirm this by moving all your other mods elsewhere and only having those weapons and their required mods installed and seeing if the problem still reproduces itself but if it doesn't it's definitely a conflict with another mod and that would be up to you to troubleshoot and find out which mod could be conflicting.

So it turns out that the Gunfighter mod conflicts with the replacers

which sucks because Gunfighter is such a great mod.

Should be resolvable by changing load order then as I have both gunfighter and those mods but I organize my mods in folders so with my setup weapons are loaded after gunfighter you can either do it like me or just rename the files and change the number after pakchunk to something higher would recommend just adding more 9's to it.

There should be a tab for load order towards the bottom on the left side bar if I'm not mistaken, you can move the mods to load after gunfighter that way so I.E. If gunfighter is number 1 on the list you want the gun mods to be number 2 or after.

You can use this method to install the latest version:

• Press windows key + R or search in the windows search bar "run" and in the window that pops up paste: steam://open/console this will bring up steam console.
• In steam console paste: download_depot 1144200 1144201 3361813380347194783 hit enter and wait for download to complete.
• Once finished you'll find the files in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_1144200\depot_1144201 or where ever your main steam installation is installed. (Should show location on steam console when completed.)
• I suggest deleting the files of your main installation and placing the installed files in there instead(Hopefully that works.) unless you want to keep both versions you can just move the installed files anywhere on your PC in that case and launch it through the .exe.

Just note this method probably won't fix the overall problem of the game not recognizing it's not updated to the latest version so you may have to repeat this method for future updates but for that you need to get the latest manifestID from steamdb website.

Title updates breaking mods is a well known thing

It’s just really pronounced in RoN due to how reliant on mods it is and the lack of an SDK

Maybe, if they're quick with the SDK update. Some game devs do make SDK updates coincide with game updates, but even then, there are times when they don’t update it alongside the game, I highly doubt void would do it like that to begin with. I'm pretty sure some devs just leave it entirely up to modders to handle. Overall mods recovering time is completely up to the mod authors not any external factors.

An SDK would surely boost morale and give them more reason to do it though.

I do think the sdk would help, but for authors that need it to make the mod need to wait for void to update it, and this become dependent on it being updated timely. Then they also need to download a large filesize of source files every time, and then fix up any editor issues every time before even attempting to fix the actual mod files. It’s a rough shake no matter what.

Custom maps and blueprint mods will benefit tremendously from it though, as they are mostly just stabs in the dark and guesses based on past findings without an sdk.

And it would allow for replacement of some game systems like widgets and stuff that can’t normally be modded, since it would have to be a complete recreation of a black box.

The MOD IS STILL SHOWING in the quickplay mission select with 'casual / normal / hard' options on the right hand side, and after exiting the game, In C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Binaries\Win64 I see Difficulty.Standard, Difficulty.Casual and Difficulty.Hard and these are recreated even if I delete them, every time I close the game.
I've asked the author for help but has not read my PM or responded to my post on the nexus mods page for 2 days now.
I have no idea how a mod is surviving when I've uninstalled and removed all traces of game files I am aware of... it's like a virus by this stage

Being able to select difficulty is a vanilla feature now with the update and the diffculty files are supposed to generate there
As far as I can tell you have uninstalled the mod and everything is normal from what you've described if those are your only problems.

Looks like it’s all there but you can check size my by selecting all those files right clicking a looking at properties or backing out from there and right clicking the folder and doing the same.

• I suggest deleting the files of your main installation and placing the installed files in there instead(Hopefully that works.) unless you want to keep both versions you can just move the installed files anywhere on your PC in that case and launch it through the .exe.
