It's closer to 3-4x, but you will have to blame the devs on that one. They will get around to it eventually

I use a realism screen mod, which reduces the suppression effect when being shot at, and the flashbang effect is reduced
just use a customization unlocked mod. thereās a good one on mod.io and unlocks everything, including tattoos, eyewear, helmets, vests and uniforms. This mod does not unlock missions though
and yes other players WILL see your gear, unlike nexus mods client sided reskins

How many of yall have tried the AI to my mod, GUNPOWDAH in comparison to say No Crack AI/Gunfighter/Other AI mods. I always see people mentioning those mods and want to improve mine to appeal more people if possible but sorta at a null as to what I should really do since most of the changes have just been through my own critique
And after trying some of the AI mods myself and opening some files, I can't really see much variance/difference to a lot of the mods interactions other than 'aim' itself but even then that's pretty similar to what i've tested. I attempted to make 'more realistic scenario suspect/civi count' with my mod but also made an increased count one, both versions have had give or take 50/50 input

You need to check the upload/update dates; anything after Dec 13 of last year should probably work. Anything older needs to be removed. To uninstall mods, follow the instructions here: #āmodding-faq-archive message

Well I would say because they were made first, when people percieved the biggest problem to be the reaction time and accuracy, which can be modified from that file. But that's just speculation.
I do agree that they need more substantial changes than the file can provide

Unsubscribe from all mods on mod.io, and then restart your game. Load into a singleplayer session, make sure ALL mods are off.
if that does not work, clear all your Mod.io data in Options.
To further clear your mod data, go to SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Ready Or Not/ReadyOrNot/Content/Paks/mod.io/3791/mods and delete all files in there that are numbered

Get rid of the ready or not folder since the filepath starts there by default
start at the content folder
it starts in content as Localization
and the other parts of this pak maker have worked with ready or not being part of the chain
I start mine assuming I am already in it and I have not had an issue
I suppose it would depend on how it is coded, but if you start with ready or not it might look farther in and find the ready or not folder inside of content. Your mod would still work if that was where it was supposed to go.
But I am assuming that is how it works

Running the game in safe mode as a launch option in steam prevents the mods from being loaded without moving or deleting them
Or you can both disable server side checksum in the settings and play with anyone you want

Idk never tried those. You can try to look at gunfighter or gunpowdah since they modify a lot of things around weapon performance

If you use other mods like gunfighter you'll need to change the load order for them to work together.

Rename the files and change the number after pakchunk to something like 999 or 9999 on one of them.
I load attachment library after gunfighter since that works for me but mod author stats to do it the other way around and load gunfighter after attachment library.
Just to make it clear the higher number is what gets loaded after, lower numbers get loaded first.
Note: 100 doesn't load after 99 though, so just stick to putting extra 9's to do it.

You are going to have to be specific on what files you are trying to extract. Not all files are able to be manipulated due to how unreal handles cooked content
I have not messed around with those files. Umodel is not for changing values though, only saving or exporting. You might be able to use uassetgui, but as I said I have not tried with these files so I don't know. The best way to learn is to donwload other mods to see how they changed values, and/or message the mod authors.

If you mean you can't change weapons than you're either using an outdated version of gunfighter or you have other outdated mods causing this.

idk if this is the right chat but im having a problem loading the wenderly heights motel map. The only other mods I have loaded are the Swat & Suspect AI overhaul and the in game menu mod. Hi! I'm a Map Modder, I've tooled with several maps, but i like this one so far, until i learn secondary Objectives... I cannot get the Bomb timer to countdown, instead it auto-completes the Objective, giving points and that's great and all, but the Real Challenge is getting to the bomb with suspects defending it, on a timer...

so I made a map pack I wanted to send to my friends, but it got quite large, what would be the best way to compress a bunch of .pak files? 7Zip just makes it like a few MBs smaller 
use unreal pak to extract them then repak with -compress. But most mappers should already have done that
so do I need any specific version of UE for this? is Unreal Pak a separate program? @wild holly
if you add the pak to a zip/7zip with compression and there is barely any size change, then it is already compressd
well dang, seems like all files are compressed already then
even tho one is 53mb and one is 2,6GB
7zip should have an option to split an archive up into chunks by size if that helps

That is a client-side bug only where they appear as standing in place. It happens with dismemberment and depends on your decal settings
Other times, suspects can play dead and get back up
How do you stop it from happening? On the decal settings part just jack it all the way up?
Also if anyone knows, my buddy had the option to pick some guns from gunfigher that it adds, which idk how because I only gave him the Basic, Animation, and movements ones. And therefor he canāt change his guns at all now. Make sure he downloaded the updated Gunfighter. There was a bug with the mod after Hotfix #3 and the author had to patch it
Gunfighter also provides a few guns like the M4A1 he can use if he's using the AIO file
Im pretty sure everything is up to date, but Ill check. Im just surprised he could even pick those guns since I have the same files for gunfighter as him and I dont have those guns available
He could also have another gameplay mod causing a conflict too

That mod replaces the g36 with the acr, and the attachments are only for the acr. If you do not see the acr then the mod is not working

pak windownoeditor files are game files. Never delete these, but you can always delete the mod files
ReadyOrNot/Content/Blueprints/DataTables/AI has the weapons and models, not sure where the armor is though.
You are going to very severly break the game if you mess up editing those files
And it will mess with ai mods and map mods as well
And you cannot control which ai type is placed on the map or how many of them since that is part of the map file
Hey guys, so i installed and played Gunfighter mod a few weeks ago. Since then i reinstalled the game, verified caches etc. but i still have the same problem while running the base game: my inventory is bugged. So i see the normal grenades (gas, stinger, flash) and they have 0 slots. My main en second weapon have used 4 and 3 slots. But the remaining slots are used up by grenades i chose earlyer while playing the Gunfighter mod. But i can not deselect them, and can not get these slots free to use on other inventory items such as the reguler nades. So even with reinstalling the game there must be some folders somewhere still using a part of the gunfighter mod or something.. anyone who know what to do?
When using that only some values can be changed without breaking the file, since the program is designed to circumvent the need to use the editor to make uasset files (which is the way that the Epic Corp designed the software).
I think you can only change the text strings without things completely breaking

Well that image comes from a mod but it requires you to be a supporter edition owner to use since it's using the old alpha supporter edition HRT models. Other than that there's no mods currently availabe that give you fingerless gloves without being a supporter edition owner.

The only advice I can offer is to have everyone in the group load the world gen file for each map by themselves ahead of time. Doing it in multiplayer at the same time causes many issues, not sure if what you said is one of them

Not how this game works. No one else can modify your inventory, and 9 bangs are not functional in the files for the base game.

What you are describing would be a RCE/ACE vulnerability. I doubt such a vulnerability exists in this game and I doubt even more that this "advanced modder" would download a mod for you.
What would've happened was you were in someone's modded lobby, where they had the gunfighter mod that unlocks 9-bangs and allows everyone to equip them.
It's a mod that only works if the host has it, but since it's for an item that exists in the vanilla game, it stays in your inventory until you unequip it
Only if he also had gunfighter and later uninstalled it. The host having a mod does not give the items to other players, but allows them to use it properly.

When replacing files in fmod banks the length must match the original. Too short and thereās a noticeable delay before it repeats. Too long and it restarts early

i installed the gunfighter AIO, breaching shotgun and 9banger files. the first 2 work, but the 9banger doesnt seem to work. i cant find the 9bangers anywhere, only got access to the default ones
the aio has both of those files already included, its called all in one for a reason

It conflicts with anything that adds devices or tools or items. Namely some Chem light mods or sniper or not device pack. Probably nvgs always available, or something else to add facewear options to the items list
You would have to list all your mods for us to know why
Whichever mod is listed last that modifies that list should be the one that works in game

General custom map problem: When I host a friends-only co-op game using any custom map, my mate regularly gets stuck with the 'Pre-Mission' loading screen still showing for him, so he's effectively blind, though he can move around, fire, etc., and I can see him doing so in game. It certainly happens every time we hit 'Try again', and occasionally when we start the map/mod from the Ready Room. (This isn't the preliminary world data build issue that we're aware of). Any clues? Is your mate stuck on the score screen from the previous round? If so that is an issue for all custom maps, only fixable by going back to the station instead of pressing retry. If they are stuck on the loading counting down from 10 seconds, that is a separate issue. Try having them delete the world gen file for the maps it happens on and making it again by themselves in a solo game
The mod author is probably trying to update them since they broke with hotfixes. Sanctums is still broken with no ETA, lustful I think works. Both available on Nexus currently

Pretty much everybody has problems with in-game mod.io so don't worry it's not a linux issue. I recommend downloading mods manually from nexusmods instead.

Itās a cosmetic replacer, so the host is not required to have it. People who do have it will see other people using the replaced clothes as wearing the mod items, regardless of whether the other person is using the mod.

You can change presets to one that has the normal amount and that will fix it. Or you can reinstall the mod to remove the extra and then uninstall it again. Deleting that file may delete your level scores as well so that should be a last resort

Yea that's not possible with RoN paks, I suggest joining the modding discord linked in the pinned messages and in there you can find tools & guides on how to mod. I recommend using Umodel for extracting files.

Default keybinding is V, press L to change to the radio channel so everyone can hear you
Theres no radio audio filter like other games so it'll just be your normal mic input
