Should I Uninstall My Mods?
Maps
- The developers have said that most maps SHOULD work properly with 1.0, however, it will likely break if it has an AI mod associated with it.
Everything else
- Everything else will likely break, except for reshade. AI mods, weapon skins/unlocks, sound mods, etc., will all be outdated and either cause bugs or crash your game.
For the cleanest and true 1.0 experience, consider clearing your mods manually, or select the third launch option when launching the game to clear all mods. Full uninstall instructions:

How does one fully remove old mods? A long while ago I added a voice mod, and I ended up Uninstalled the game and re installed, I don't think the mod was in the folder I had it in, but every once and a while the other voice lines would pop up, I haven't tested it recently but I verified files and unistalled and reinstalled last night. If this problem continues what can I do ? Is there another folder somewhere I need to remove files from

Thereâs an option to wipe all mods on game launch
If you know what voice line you replaced, delete the entire folder (such as âSWATJudgeâ) and verify files
Even old mods before the in game mods download was added
maybe look for them, like what I'm doing right now
you'd know that its a mod if it has mod in the name, check the paks folder
If you know what you installed, theyâre likely either in the âpaksâ or âVOâ folder. Itâll take a while, but delete both of those folders and verify game files
If it was reshade, just uninstall reshade

Someone needs to make a mod where the viewpoint is from the helmet camera like it is on the new update where you can watch your ai teammates or friends on the monitor. looks really realistic and cool for "body" camera footage and the shakiness of the screen is a cool effect. Anyone having these few issues? 1.) When crouching I can see my vest not on my body in AI helmet cam ; 2.) When sent to therapy and have limited officers on field, I still spawn with a full team. ; 3.) When I change loadout of AI's cosmetics they still spawn with defaults, I.E (no helmet's still spawn with helmets)

For AI cosmetic changes. Make sure you change one of their gun's attachments before opt out. That should somehow save their new loadout

Afaik yes, you still get new missions as you complete previous ones though, but look above there's a mod that unlock all progression customization for ya

One guy died, another resigned. the rest are in therapy. So I only have 2 active on field. When I deploy it gives me a full man team, and when the match ends it shows that I only had 2 guys

im pretty certain 1.0 actually fixed some of what gunfighter fixed tho
proper high and low ready states
will mods previously installed before the 1.0 update heavily affect the gameplay or game? mostly cosmetic mods like mechanixs gloves, all guns black, vest fix, lspd outfits, and voice mod.
Still the gun taking up a third of my screen is undesirable
anything that affects a blanket portion of the game is not going to work fully

I just found out how to fix it. Go check your vortex folder and delete the "mods" folder
I deleted mod data, deleted save data from the error, and finally deleted the mods folder from vortex. That ended up working

Well, if I am understanding their new file structure, I think they got rid of the AILevelData.ini file that was used to set surface level changes to the AI behavior and then you could modify the archetype behaviors that were used as floating properties

For anyone who has old mods installed, please see my explanation for how to completely wipe all cache, prior to updating your game, but I would recommend a full fresh install:
I would delete every mod by purging your Paks folder, remove your cached Ready or Not folder under %localappdata%, and uninstall the game, so you have a brand new install with the new update. It's going to crimp the size from 95GB to around 60GB. By doing this, you'll have the fastest installation possible rather than verifying integrity and overwriting broken cache files and outdated files, which would take longer

theres your game folder in steamapps/common, and then theres also gonna be a Mod.io and ReadyOrNot folder in AppData. You need to delete your mods from all 3 of them.

I got it! So go to (wherever your steam folder is)\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks and delete the mod.io folder, then go to %localappdata% and delete the entire ReadyOrNot folder you find there, then launch the game.

For mod.io you can go in game than into options - gameplay and scroll all the way to the bottom and clear mod.io user data by selecting reset to defaults for any manually installed mods from nexusmods or otherwise you need to delete them from your paks folder so just delete all pak files except for the ones that read "WindowsNoEditor"

It just gives unofficial score the same as how pre 1.0 was, I do not know if this 'unofficial score' has impact on anything yet or anything that isn't added or simply is just a high score reference guide but it doesn't conflict with campaign mode or any of the unlockables

I've talked with killowatt about it and they're gonna have an aileveldata file per map so that modded maps won't conflict but it's wip
You can change via AI Archetypes; I think it is also possible to do this by deleting the 'default' preset counts in AIleveldata and then to just keep the independent ones that follow under each layer

So Armor enhanced; bullets ricochet, ballistics edited for all materials, AI edited, Blood and wounding edited for players and enemies, damage for all bullets edited, recoil for MK18 and SCAR is in works but teaser on that file
Helmets will take ricochet shots but give longer concussions, heavier suppression effects but quicker regration etc.
Enemy armor was also tweaked too

My original mod the who purpose of what I did with recoil was to make gameplay very slow because everyone was speed running
Tier 1 units wouldnât tackle a mission like this without a team of 12 and immediate follow-on support from medical and police
So in a sense, if you aren't ADS you are in a way hip firing sorta. Not bracing the buttstock to your shoulder or anything
The gun will sway bob etc harder. BUT with ADS it'll have a good kick and wobble (guns do that they shake) but recoil is more like old rust I'd say?

So with the recoil mod I am making, it forces you to really hold down your gun the same as you would in real life to not have it go flying in the air at full auto

Hello everyone! enjoying the 1.0. I was wondering if people know if the in game menu mod works with/ will ever work with modded maps?

Right now suspects can exit structures and move with impunity to flank you, but irl theyâd usually be penned in by barrier units
