Also record or not is a reshade and doesn't go into the paks folder it goes in your win64 folder and you need to install reshade first

And Idk I would just play around with it I just tested it myself with a super fast movement and super slow movement those values being 999 for normal 9999 for low ready for fast and 1 for normal and 50 for low ready for slow.

Hey.
I started these types of games with the Rainbow series, then next one was Ground Branch and now I am a new RoN (20 hours) player. I really like mods, both GB and RoN have around 80 mods installed. In RoN those would be some of the more popular (like Gunfighter) and some less-so.
The reason I am writing this, is because I have went through a fair amount of mods, read their descriptions (even those which I do not like or do not find needed for me) and I found that there were instances, where some mods change the same values in the game, so the fix suggested was to rename some mods (by changing their number after "pakchunk"). So I got some questions: Why do those numbers exist in the first place? How do I know what mods change in which values and therefor collide? If changing the filename number changes something, then couldn't the number change make those mods just conflict with yet another mod?
For now I just had to do the ol-good install, launch, check and then remove/rename, which is getting a bit boring now. So I am looking for a not necessarily easier, but at least smarter and less time consuming way of finding out. Thanks in advance.

If you use gunfighter this is just a visual bug. The armor should still be working fine you just won't see it appear on the paper doll ui.

Basically, host has mods and you don't or you do and he has none (or your files don't match)
the host has to disable in the settings checksum check

that will prevent it from kicking you

(though de-sync may happen depending on what mods they may have but fuck it)

Hi! I have cleared Paks folder of any nexus mods, cleared mods from mod.io folder, but the game keeps spitting out "pak checksum mismatch"

the only mods I've been running were 2,3 custom maps and mostly visual overlays/skins

You can just disable server side checksum in game options to play with friends with your mods installed but if you want complete removal of the mods than select the third option when launching the game to delete mod data.

I’ve been using that one since I discovered it. Which was about a month into me playing RoN. It’s a very good mod and makes the AI more life like, and has a lot of options. Me I’ve been using the Hardcore Tactical medium. Adds more suspects and it adds more unique encounters and firefights

Corrupt data from mods is usually either because they're out of date or broken. Also don't use the in-game mod.io mod manager to download mods it is broken and fails to deploy most mods. It is recommended to manually install mods from nexusmods or mod.io website.

You have to unzip voice mods and place them in the VO folder not paks.

Make sure all your mods are unpacked as well and read as a pak file and not a 7z file or rar file. I see a couple others in there that aren't extracted.

The R18G_MX_AMMO is probably conflicting with it. Aside from that I don't see any other potential problems.

Gunfighter has an optional 99 slot mod you can use instead if you want more than the 25 slots gunfighter gives you by default.

Yea. Also the two Avon gas mask files are two different options so you only need one if you want blacked out lens than you keep blacklens and remove clearlens or vice versa. Same deal with the Specgru rangers.

Yep, you'll also notice if you start pushing your weapon against a wall it'll start compressing before going up and you should have other things like NVGs always on, always have a taser if you double tap your 2 key, a few more guns, and more slots for ammo and other gear, etc.

All that info is in the mod page's description if you want to look for it and test it.

Not when using NVGs always on you would need to only have NVGs equipped they'll be invisible otherwise.

You can probably load order one of the NVGs always down mods and have them load before so you get the always down feature while keeping the NVG model you have.

No there's no simple way to easily change it.

That's because the map is very very old. I remember having to name my maps ron_wb_combat_01b but that was back in like 2021/very early 2022.

originally there wasn't any custom maps support, so the only way to put a custom map in the game was to replace a map. Most people replaced ron_wb_combat_01b because it was an old hotel test map that wasn't really played much.

but yeah, no way to change it

So Ive been having crashing issues lately on RoN. Im not sure whats causing it, I have mods installed but not tons of mods, and most of them arent known at all to cause crashing issues. There's very few mods that can attribute to crashing but things like mods that unlock the unfinished gore/dismemberment system in the game aren't very stable and can cause crashing. Some AI mods have also been known to cause crashes though this is more often to happen in multiplayer rather than single player.

You can disable all the effects but reshade itself will remain enabled until you uninstall it. If you're meaning by "certain games" is to ask will it be enabled on other games than ready or not than the answer is no reshade will only be installed to the games you select it to be installed on.

Body cam delta is one of the best out there right now and it has a tutorial video too. Yea you probably just don't have a home key on your keyboard like how plenty of people don't have numpads on there's but you should be able to change the default reshade key in the reshade.ini but you'll have to look up how to do that because if I remember correctly it's not as simple as writing the key you want it to be you have to switch some sort of number or something.

Sorry man nothing there that I can see looks like it would directly effect that muzzle attachment all I really see is you have multiple mods that replace the same suppressor but that shouldn't effect the sfmb. Very possible to be hiding inside one of those mod files so all you can really do is slowly start pulling out files till ya find your culprit. Though, do double check it's actually an issue with another mod first by pulling everything out except the sfmb replacement and test if it works with no other mods in the folder in game.

I dont think its possible to mod in any bullpup to an acceptable standard for now, since modders are only able to replace models and not change animations, attachment points or anything of that sort.

Uniforms would be perfectly doable though.

You might be able to get someone to make a Galil instead, or you can wait until after 1.0 comes out with the new bullpup, and get that modded.

You should also check the unofficial modding discord, I think they have a channel specific for commissioning mods.

The base file at the top includes gloves & barehands with watches, the 2nd file includes a new holster for your pistol, the two on the bottom are the same as the ones on the top except all hands have gloves.

Someone would have to make the hand models from scratch so that's most likely the main factor into why nobody has done it for all the hands yet. I mean there was someone who did like ages ago in one of the earlier updates but those hands weren't the prettiest and they're way outdated now and likely won't ever see an update.

By using in game menu(The mod) selecting settings than select tappy, towards the bottom will be the input keys.

It won't show if it isn't enabled under the mods tab first.

Point input refers to the ping feature, door check refers to checking whether or not a door is unlocked. Tap is obviously the main tapping feature of the mod.

If you mean the paper doll UI not having the light armor visible it's a known bug with the mod the armor itself should still be working it just doesn't appear on the UI.

Gunfighter Gameplay Improvement modifies the recoil to where it returns to the center slightly after firing. If you want "rifles kill in one shot" levels of realism, Jug's Gameplay Review v04.2 is probably your best bet

The most realistic adaptation I could come up with is Damage Debuff with no Dismemberment. It only works if you pair with my AI Mods though and is known to cause other mods to get overwritten such as Gunfighter

hey so im trying to do retexturing with the MKX, problem is the colors are weird.
The black isnt black, rather grey and the white is pale.
Im using Adobe substance painter for retexturing and export it as 8bit/8bit with dithering (tried both)
Cooked them with UE4 with sRGB and without. Idk what to do anymore.

what would be the best way of trying to add a punishment for killing the od child in meth house? im trying to specifically make it a comedic punishment by referencing modern warfare's punishment for shooting the baby in the crib during the campaign (i cant remember which modern warfare but i think it was the first modern warfare after they basically renewed the series)

if it's possible to actually display the same message on screen and have it fade to black and automatically end the mission that would be perfect

im planning on trying to do it myself and learning how to do it myself though

but id like a suggested method or to know what's viable or not to save time

most optimally i would surprise poorly behaved players with it

but if the most i can do is basically put text next to/on the child then im fine with that
