You could maybe per tick check to see if a default dialogue is playing then stop it and try play from a custom set instead. It'd be alot of trial and error

I actually think I was right first time..
I trialed changing the wav files with my voice saying "1", "2" etc for the yell commands, of which I think there is about 16 by default for the '[CALL]_YellAtCivi' set. Tapping F, it played all numbers up to 25,
So I assume that it selects a random wav file with the same name, but ignores the prefix. That's what I'm hoping anyway 🙏

Auto-downloading would be kinda pointless, you'd have to restart the game anyway if you wanted to see the effects

- The church
- The LA convention center
- DBN TV World
- Foreman House, brentwood
- Hollywood Hills house
- Chinese theater
Hope someone that is creating maps sees this and takes it into consideration I see a lot of SWAT 4 maps are being remade which some of them were also my absolute favorites

Hi all!! Myself and the boys have been working hard on our new voice mod update. We have over 700 working voice lines for each of the five operators. Here are a snippet of the examples for three of our operators.
As well as this, we have a dedicated TOC to compliment this mod. Our man Laurence has decided to integrate his existing one into ours.
Plans down the line as mentioned before are to potentially code random conversations between ops mid game. Have to wait for the official SDK though.

Seems to work fine on my end, are you sure this is not caused by another mod? I know that gunfighter mod causes this and is a known issue. However, it only shows up like that on the paper doll UI, it doesn't make the armor ineffective.

Hey, is anyone else having any issues with getting a lobby filled with the AI Mod, Mild taste, Spicy and Nuclear (Especially Nuclear)... It's almost like people see it's harder and don't join. If they do join they seem to leave almost instantly. It was OK on Sunday but it was difficult yesterday....
Sounds like an outdated uniform mod. Disable any uniform mods and check again

I recommend it! It's fun and it actually requires your team mates to co-ordinate because the AI is more dynamic than it already is! Truly, I'd recommend it
Ok, I think that you should have gone to the mod faq like @wise tiger said... You need to unpack it because how is a compressed file going to run if the game can't identify its a PAK file? Once you've unpacked it and put it in the folder you will have the skin. I've found that with the skins, when you look in the mirror you don't always see them but you'll see them when you load out or ever so slightly in the mirror

Is there a limit to how many modded maps you can have? I tried to download like 4 last night and i had 7 before hand only 2 of the 4 have worked and they are in the paks folder all of them
If they're not showing up either they're broken or you installed them incorrectly, I can't imagine that 9 maps is the limit

You can't change skins, if you download a mod that makes a gun look diffrent, it simply replaces the whole model

Modding the game in general changes how your matchmaker works, if you haven't already, turn off serverside checksum in game settings. But you won't be able to join vanilla lobbies with the setting enabled, and they can't join you

Technically, but I realised the mod I'm using contains both. I use the "SWAT and Suspect AI Overhaul mod" which does things like reduce officer collision size allowing for tighter movement, I can mix and match Pak's for either just the AI mod (which also allows SWAT to shoot non lethal) or I can add extra AI, no civs, etc.
Do some mods only work in dx12/11?
Mods should be independent on DX version, I think, maybe some differing visuals at most

Forgive me for being dumb not knowing much about tactical stuff but what does a riser do
No problem bro, it well… rises, makes the optic taller. This is useful because when using a rifle you push your cheek into the stock to remain stable, but because people usually have something on their face (gas mask or whatever) it makes their eye sit too high compared to the gun.
So a riser corrects that

Allow the mod to fully install, you'll know it is once its download UI at the bottom fully disappears, and nothing new pops up. If it persists past restart after, the mod is probably borked

Hello hello, I followed the guide and extracted all RoN game files from content folder. But when I try to launch the "ReadyOrNot.uproject", it will throw at me "RoN could not be compiled. Try rebuilding from source manually" after I try to rebuild it. Due to this:

- Verify the game files (right click on Steam > Properties > Local files > Verify integrity) #💬general-discussion message
- clear your mod.io data (press play, when it asks you to pick a launch option, pick the last/third one, and then launch the game again)
- Update your drivers and windows (even to optional build, or even manual install)
- Temporarily disable anti-viruses and test if issue persists
- If all else fails, do a clean reinstall below:
Uninstall Ready or Not on Steam
Navigate to Steam > Steamapps > Common > Delete "ReadyorNot"
Navigate to %appdata% > local (%appdata by default is roaming) > delete "ReadyorNot"
Reinstall the game via Steam

Not sure why they're spotlighting a map that got broken after the adam update 🤔 #announcements message
The map is phenomenal, but the adam update made it so obnoxiously dark it's close to impossible to play at a realistic level.
Even with nvgs the map remains extremely dark, to unrealistic levels. When you get into one of the side-houses or places with any sort of lights, u realize they are extremely dim. You can't expect a SWAT team or a military squad to approach a mission like this without proper equipment, in this case, if u use a flashlight you're dead, as you should, because you're an easy target, but the vanilla ngv's (or even some modded ones) dont get the job done which means the map is indeed way too dark. Specially after the adam update launched

running into a problem with custom maps, doors have a green sign above the door handle that says pull (only happens on some maps) makes the door inable to open and if its broken we cant go through it
friend is hosting the game and what i see on the doors is a small outline of the sign hes seeing

idk what just happened lmao i downloaded the acog and the 2 fix files opened the game and there are like 5 more scopes that appeared more reflex sites and stuff and i already had the hamr red dot on that stopped working and all other scopes are also glitched

for the acog you must only use one FIX and one of the original files. Ballistic explained it

@odd sedge mod.io creats an additional folder in the pak folder just manualy copy the pak´s from there in to ur normal pak folder thats how i do it 🙂

Are there any good voice mods for SWAT leader and TOC?
There are plenty of voice lines for SWAT on Nexus, I don't think Mod.io is able to handle audio mods currently. There are mods that add louder/"realistic" voice lines, or you could voice lines from SWAT 4
I don't think modding is advanced enough yet (without SDK) for mods to enable that. You can remove the AI currently through mods, but that's about it

Assuming you install the mod correctly (either through Mod.io or manually with Nexus), it will automatically activate after you restart the game

If you used mod.io and it didn't appear in-game, there is an issue with the mod, try the steps I gave to see if moving the files around fixes it

No, you drag everything from mod.io into the pak folder
Hit control + Z and move those back, since they're critical game files
Download a mod file from Nexus Mods. It will most likely be a RAR-file (to be opened with WinRar, 7-Zip or WinZip). Go to this directory: [Wherever you have installed Steam on your drive]\Steam\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks . Drag the pakfile in paks. Open the game , mod is installed. (mod.io has issues with not loading mod sometimes) I recommend Nexus.

Move the 26 files you put in the mod.io folder back into the pak folder, those files essentially are the entire game and its code
