There's an odd bug or something going on with the ARN-18 and ARWC rifles. Every update the two weapons swap their calibers between .300 blackout and 5.56x45. Is this just balance choices or a bug?
Framerate lowers on new maps, especially on the new neon nightclub map. Securing hostage bug where you press f to secure but then you just freeze. Also the selector on rifles stay in the same position for full auto and safe
And the game has a tendency to blackout when you load into a map

You can get stuck on the 4U Gas Station map in the garage area behind the gas station itself, theres a gap you can fall into between the truck, the stairs, delivery platform, and the little trolley thing with the boxes on it...

I am unable to max out suspects passed 20 Suspects on both Park Home Raid and Barricaded Suspects. Did something happen with these maps that can no longer support this amount of suspects? Was it due to the major frame drops?
So I came across this bug I thing in the map Carriers of the Vine were 2-3 of my AI's get stuck in the handrail when I tell them to go up stair and clear, happening to anyone else or just me?
You can clip through the wall at the corner at the start of Hospital (flashlight). You can clip into the room nextdoor, or fall out of the map.

When ordered to stack up on the 1st floor main stairway door on the South half of Hospital, most if not all officers exclaim "Cant make it there" or "I cant do that". It seems they are stuck between the flights of stairs, where the screenshot was taken from.

Don't 100% know if this was on purpose, but the armor slots have just swapped, where Heavy used to be 15 slots and Anti-Stab used to be 11, they're just swapped. I think this is a mistake, but could be wrong

Not entirely a bug but is something that should get some reworking: the use of force penalties on certain maps can be sometimes impossible to work around, causing the player to get unjust penalties. I find myself experiencing this the most on the penthouse level, situations such as someone running straight at me with a shotgun will cause me to lose 100 points. I’ll also find myself clearing a corner, only to have a person with a shotgun/rifle point blank and merely inches from my face, only to shoot them and receive a penalty. I don’t know how much other people talk about this issue, but it’s really annoying

Hostage Rescue On the gas station mission Thank You, Come Again about the 3 times i have played it the enemy's glitch into eachother so they are like a stack and then they become like confused because they will just stand there even when you get close to them and hit them and when you kill them they stay standing so its hard to tell if they are dead or alive

this used to happen with me but this was due to my mouse polling rate being super high, no clue why that caused problems but try lowering your polling rate and see if that fixes the issue. If this happens in other games as well then its definitely a polling rate issue

Armor plate type & position changes not in effect
So for example I switch from Ceramic to steel plate, the changes will not be in effect, it will automatically default back to Kevlar, the only way to let the changes be in effect is to make the plate changes, without getting out of the modification menu, switch you current armour out and switch it back on, e.g. you are wearing heavy so you need to switch from heavy to light then switch back to heavy to have the change from ceramic to steel plate in effect. Same goes with changing armour position e.g. front & back to front, back & sides.

I was playing twisted nerve with my friends and when i had the paper bag man cornered as i was screaming at him to get down he was no even looking at me and some how knifed me twice despite having my shield up and being like 3 feet away and killed me.

yep, the validation couldn't find any corrupted files. He is trying a new installation of the game (deleting the folder and all the previous data from the game that might be corrupted). Thanks for your assistance!
Just a quick update, a clean install solve the issues with the game
i bought the regular edition of ready or not a while back and recently i bought the supporters edition DLC, i was wondering how do i enter the supporter edition alpha testing. the discord supporter verification button is not in my settings in general (in game).
Not really important but in first person elis wrists are exposed but his model shows that they are covered

Has anybody reported a memory leak on 213 Park Homes operation Twisted Nerve? I seem to be suffering from a leak on that map
got a problem with textures. any texture setting below the max one (epic) results in these terrible, blurry ps1 textures. only way to fix it is to play with max textures but everything else set to low. (screenshots are on high settings)
Yes i experienced this issue many times with this map and a few others, i could not find a fix for it, if you’re using mods try to remove them that might help a bit, what i did to fix the issue is just get more ram, upgraded from 16 to 32 gb of ddr4 and that fixed the issue however RoN does have high ram usage on that map and a few others

AI gets stuck during a cancelled C4 breach
I have found a bug that occurs during a C2/4 breach on a door. If you go ahead with the C4 breach option and then cancel it to do something else after the c4 is on the door, and then try to continue with the C4 breach, the AI swat team just stand there and don't do anything. It seems like the game knows there is already C4 on the door, but the loop has been broken so it can't pick up where it left off, or place a new one on the door.
It requires player interaction to get around the bug.
Someone also mentioned a similar sounding bug with prepping flash bangs for a door breach. I suspect it's to do with the logic in the code responsible for door breaches. It seems after being interrupted, it is not able to resume where it left off. Perhaps it needs some kind of check for "if C4 already on door, continue with breach" etc

On the map Valley Of Doll's if you shoot the planters they explode and become super huge.
Can't aim in or shoot at seemingly random moments. Clicking 50 times RMB or LMB and nothing happens. Said random though I think it has something to do with doors? (only in windowed fullscreen)

In non-lethal training, after verbal commands for subject to comply I equipped zipties manually (was seeing how it worked or if there was a difference) and I am completely locked up and unable to do anything.
Supporter Test. Do AI on twisted nerve shoot randomly. I hadn't left the spawn point yet and they already shooting from the house on the hill. I've noticed they are shooting through walls again but didn't think the would be trying to shoot across the map through everything. Edit: walked up to the front door shooting continued and AI teammates started returning fire through the walls
There is a couple of instances when a player died their pistol and other belt items will float over their body

1️⃣ Camera view on players with shields is blocked by the shield and useless
2️⃣ Camera view sometimes shows the wrong view like the player is aiming correctly but near a wall corner and shoots while in camera view the player is aiming at the wall and shooting the wall - not quite sure it happened twice so far
3️⃣ When host migrating most times the game will just stuck at that screen, most likely the host is bad and the game stuck
4️⃣ When reporting a bug successfully while in-game the game bugs and you can't switch weapons anymore nor ADS or Shoot
I seem to normally get issue 3 while all clients don’t have the application focused
on lower FPS, guns will clip through the modification bench and sometimes just disappear offscreen altogether.

For some reason, many guns lose the attachments you were using when you perform seemingly random actions relative to loadouts. The primary suspects are:

and for some strange reason, the UMP loses it's sights, but remembers that i have the stock folded?

Has anyone experienced issues with mouse inputs such as shooting, aiming, or switching firing modes not being picked up by the game? For example, I would have to click twice in order to ADS or if I was trying to single firing, taping 5 times would result in at least 1 shot not coming out. I have been told that switching to Full screen mode fixes the issue but when I got into the game, I saw the 2 options of Full screen and Picture-in-picture and I made sure to switch my game to Full screen but the issue still persists. Anyone experiencing something similar or has any advice on how I can fix this please do let me know.

- Exit menu.
- Enter the menu again.
- Left click Primary so the list of Primary Weapons on the bottom appears.
- Find the weapon you previously modified and double click it.

Loadout Menu - Description doesn't appear for the item you have selected in each category until you click that item again. Still shows the description of the item you have previously clicked in any category.
- Enter the Lobby/HQ.
- Enter the locker room and open the "Modify Loadout" menu.
- Left click primary weapon and then left click a weapon in the bottom list.
- Observe description for that weapon is shown.
- Left click Sidearm, or Long Tactical, or Body Armor etc.
- Observe.
Workaround: Click the item in the bottom list again. In the above example, click sidearm, then click the sidearm you have equipped in the bottom list again to make the Description appear.

Taser - Player always has two times the amount of Taser Cartridges than what is shown in the Sidearm Ammo in the Loadout menu.
If you select one, you are given two cartridges. If you select two, you are given four cartridges. If you select three, you are given six cartridges etc.
- Enter the Lobby/HQ.
- Enter the locker room and open the "Modify Loadout" menu.
- Select the Taser as your Sidearm.
- Go to munitions and put one sidearm ammo in the slots then save.
- Exit, equip the taser and hold R to show how much ammo you have.
- Repeat step 4 but give yourself two sidearm ammo.
- Exit and hold R to show how much ammo you have.
- Observe.
i can select the rescue shield and new shotgun despite not having supporters edition, and it confused me for a min, at least keep it blanked out for non dlc owners

I've noticed that variety of guns deal basically no damage. SA-58 required around 8 to 9 shots to the chest and 3 to the head. AP round btw. Other guns with different suspects were tested with, all of them took atleast 5-8 shots. (valley of the dolls and methhouse)

Loadout Menu - Player can select multiple Pepper Sprays or Lockpick guns but these have no effect.
The Pepper Spray will run out and not be replaced. The Lockpick gun is never consumed.
- Enter the Lobby/HQ.

- Select two tactical munitions slots.
- Select 2x Pepper Spray or 2x Lockpick Gun.
- Exit, go to the killhouse, fire your pepper spray until it is empty.
- Observe.
I have noticed that the SA-58 says it has 30 rnd mags in the loadout screen but the mags only hold 20

Tactical Munitions (Door Wedge, C2) - Player always has two times the amount of ammo than what is shown in the Tactical Munitions Ammo in the Loadout menu.
For example: If you select one Door Wedge, you are given two Door Wedges. If you select two, you are given four. If you select three, you are given six etc.
- Enter the Lobby/HQ.
- Enter the locker room and open the "Modify Loadout" menu.
- Select one tactical munitions slot.
- Select one Door Wedge or C2.
- Exit, go to the killhouse, observe you can use two of that munition.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 but bring two of that munition.
- Exit, go to the killhouse, observe you can use four of that munition.

Possibly the same root cause but bugging separately as the Taser is a "Sidearm".
Apparently my selections of weapons are all m4a1 even on secondary tho if i click it , it appears what weapon it is

Weapon can not be equipped. When exiting the menu after selecting the weapon you will end up with the 870 CQB Shotgun.
I am not a supporter so if this is a supporter only item then It should have some form of indicator.
If you try and equip the MK1 Carbine rifle when you exit the customization room it will switch to a shotgun

If you step on a physics objects (Some) (EKG the carboard cutout on gas) the physics object will go brrrrrrr and fly away to the fourth dimension.

Supporter weapons have no indication that they are supporter only on the new HUD, when you try to equip them it just equips a default weapon
Before the update the supporter only items were clearly marked/greyed out, on the new interface they just appear normally and trying to equip them just resets your weapon. Might be misleading if people forgot/don't know about the supporter only weapon variants
This happens for me on the MK1 Carbine, B1301 "Entryman" variant and PFC9 pistol
Reproduction steps: Open loadout screen and look at supporter only weapon variants/try to equip
Was violently shaking, poor mans got stuck in the stool (also yes do not say anything about the FPS I swear)

In the back warehouse areas of Fast Food if a SWAT AI attempts to restrain a target while on some of the lower resolution floors the target doesn't rotate to align and the SWAT will pause mid animation.
Reproduction: Have a non-SWAT AI surrender in the back warehouse areas of Fast Food and command them to restrain the target so that they won't line up with the targets back.
Workaround: Nudge the target or SWAT AI into alignment and restraining animation will complete.

When selecting supporter primaries, it defaults to 870 CQB when not owning supporter edition

When changing armor, coverage selection doesn't pop up until customization is restarted

New update that got released (for everyone) broke the new sidearm (PFC9). Every time you try to customize it and exit out, you automatically equip the revolver.

Killhouse Pixelated shadows
The bug consists of a portion of shadows near the center of the kill house, underneath the catwalk, which can be seen from multiple angles and in different rooms surrounding the particular portion of the killhouse. My graphics quality was on high when I first saw it, and I changed it to Epic with no visible change detected. (The first image has shadow quality on High | The second image has the shadow quality on Epic) There are also noticeable smaller fragments of shadows made up of the same squares as you can see littered around the image. No mods or game modifcations are running on this session either.
No known recreation method at this time - I was shooting targets and the walls with the new Entryman shotgun before stumbling upon it.
Workaround - Unknown, the bug is not harmful or experience hindering other than visually disruptive.

I've run into similar bug. When opening the Gear Screen the weapon attachment menu on the side doesn't allow for customization without selecting the weapon on the bottom bar - which removes all attachments.

AI-equipped breaching shotguns stop making an audible sound after multiple uses in single player.
Reproduction steps: Having my teams use the breaching shotgun works at first, but after a few shot doors, the shotguns will stop making a bang sound, only the cocking after the shot. They will work correctly though.

Mirror Reflections
Having mirror reflections fully enabled is still causing significant frame rate drops on 213 Park Homes (and presumably other maps as well).
Game performance really needs a pushed fix now, optimization is quite bad. Alot are reporting worse FPS and FPS spikes.

Frequent bug: when i ask my SWAT AI teammates to restrain someone, they take out their zip ties but just don’t do anything. They stand there holding the zipties. They won’t follow me when I give commands, or continue to stay even after the suspect has been restrained. Pretty annoying having to do everything myself

[GRAPHICS] I am using gtx 1060 3gb, i5 9400f, 16gb ram, dx12. Newest drivers on gpu. Game downloaded on hdd. When looking at a specific angle, I can see a strange glitched textures. They also dissaper. Sometimes they cover the entire screen. Textures also have a loading problem (for some reason they are working only on epic texture settings)
I tried to turn on RON on a separate monitor with a new hdmi cable but the problem remained. This is strange because the users of 2GB vram cards did not have these problems when I spoke to them. Temepratures of gpu and cpu are normal. Reducing or adding core clock in msi afterburner did not change anything. Thanks for any suggestions. Whelp please

**Crash launching the game on first boot **
When launching the game in DX12 Mode (Confirmed issue on DX11 as well by another #👮ron-discussion message ) The game will launch the splash screen and then freeze up, forcing a control panel kill process. Upon launching the game again, it will load normally. This issue was not present with the previous patch. After closing the game a few times and relaunching, the issue does not persist.

Sometimes you can seem someone on the other side of a closed door if they are close enough for a split second and this happens more and more often when spectating other players

In the first screenshot, you can see that I have my munitions set to 5 primary ammo mags, 5 taser rounds and 1 grenade. In the second screenshot, the munitions menu shows that I currently have four taser rounds and there is no option to add another one. Below you can see that '+' and '-' buttons to add more ammo to the loadout even thought I set the ammo to carry one grenade.
And here you can see that the loadout shows me carrying taser ammo when I have a pistol equipped.
Secondly, I haven't been able to recreate this glitch but I did have it. Previously modified weapons would not keep their modifications after switching to another weapon.

for the attachments, not sure if its your case but for me it was because i was selecting the guns of the supporter edition(which are currently bugged and i can select but cant use) so when i changed their attachments and selected another weapon, since i dont own the supporter editions weapon it didnt save the modifications

just played Gas, bad guys went down normally. On Club and some of the new test maps they were taking 5 rds centre mass.
As an aside it would be useful to know, from the description of the mission, whether bad guys are armoured or not. It seemed that with some of the Hand guys, they acted as if wearing armour but weren't. Otherwise changes were great, feels like a better game overall.
Anyone else having issues of not being able to equip the new weapons? I can use the submachine guns but not the new shotgun, pistol, or MK1 Carbine.
So I have found a way to escape the map in The Ides of March near the start:
Through the first door, in the cleaning room to the right hand side, in the corner is a mop and bucket, if you walk over that you will fall through the map. Then if you walk to the far right of the space into which you have fallen, you will fall to your death. Have been able to repeat this a few times
Do you have the supporter edition? If not there was mention of a known issue where those weapons that should be greyed out are selectable, and then get removed from the player when leaving the weapon selection

So from my playthrough today issues i encountered
1)If you open a closet and the suspect/civ in get's immediatly on his knees you can't arrest him and he is stack there (happened on Twisting Nerve on the closet near the back of the main house).
2)There are some walls in Farm where you can just walk through them like nothing.Most notably on raid when you enter the mansion on the left side , back entrance i can provide screenshots if someone is wants to pay attention.
3)Also in Farm on raid you can jump down to the spawn point of Baricaded suspects farm and you are basically stack there you can't get back up .(You can jump there from the sacks that are stacked on the left side of the entrance on the mansion).
4)The SWAT AI doen't seem to want to pick guns from the ground if you specifically target them.
5)On the Main menu when you double click a weapon it resets all the attachments, it happens mostly on the Assault Rifles (I think at least)
6)On the Main Menu when you choose what type of body armor you will wear the drop down menu for medium and heavy armor that allows you choose where to put the plates you want , it doesn't appear.You have to close the menu and open it again for it to show.
7)Certain AI guns / suspects fire their guns with tremendous RPM.
8)Some Open doors dont show prompt to close them unless you body move them a bit , then it shows.

Free Lean is not working properly for crouched stance in first person. When you look into a mirror, you can see the 3rd person animation working correctly but your camera height is actually higher than your standing stance level.
That's not a bug. I learned this by watching the trailer. The new update adds the ability for suspects to play possum. This is the exact reason why you can (and should) cuff dead bodies.
Because if you don't, when you aren't looking or when you leave the area, the suspect will get back up, find a gun and attack you again.

Only first time to happen so far, but this happened when i was restraining a civilian, then in the middle of the animation, a suspect came and shot the civilian dead, after that the animation was obviously canceled but my gun disappeared, couldn't shoot or do anything else. The attachments of any weapon in the game are not being saved.
Reproduction steps: Open loadout menu; choose any weapon; set up any attachment on that weapon; choose another weapon; choose the same weapon as before: Attachments are gone | Same thing for both, primary and sidearm

Edit: Attachments from weapons I set up before the update are still there, unless I choose the weapon once, then choose another weapon and then the same weapon again.

When swapping Body Armour type, the coverage selection disappears. Leaving then re-entering the menu fixes the problem temporarily until you change armour again

While changing guns and loadouts, when choosing the B1301 Entryman, BCM Mk1, Beanbag Shotgun, MP5/10, MP5A3, MP9, and the PFC9, all attachments are removed if you switch to a different weapon and go back to them later. Also, it seems like the attachments are removed from any of these guns when you launch the game next time unless it was the last weapon you were using.

The only officers who have glowing patches on anything other than the helmet glowing under NVGs are the SWAT OD with Judge, King, Prescott, and Eli; Swan and Alabama do not have glowing patches on either Black or OD uniforms. When the AI teammate arrests the suspect sometimes it will hold the harness still and continue the arrest after a few seconds of hesitation. But sometimes it will stay in place, unable to move, showing that it is always in the arrest state.

Shared Pause Menu
I was in a lobby with friends and while we were loading both me and one of my friend's pause menus kept opening and closing. Then when he chose an option on his pause menu it opened on my screen as well. Then to test it he opened bug report and of course it showed on my screen. So I started typing a bug report about the issue, and then the bug report screen wouldn't close. I could walk around in game but the only other thing I could do was turn on/off my flashlight. I don't even know what's going on anymore

A suspect or civi will be kneeling on the floor and I will press 'z' to tell one of the AI to restrain the person. But the SWAT AI will just stand there and wont restrain the person, unless I walk into the suspect/civilian. Walking into the detainee seems to fix the issue.

Non-lethal/Less lethal tactics are not viable
I played with the Bean-bag Shotgun, Pepperball gun (orange magazine) and Taser. The suspects I hit with the bean-bag rounds and shout for compliance at keep moving or shuffling around, essentially brushing off the fact that they were nailed with a projectile from a shotgun. The bean bag rounds need to be stronger and more consistent; I find that they don't work when a suspect or civilian is in an animation such as opening a door, shuffling to the side, reloading, etc. There should be an audible "Oof!" or something similar from the suspects (possibility they drop weapon?)
The taser is also much weaker in this update. One suspect took 3 taser cartridges and yelling for compliance and STILL did not comply. Suspects that are hit with the taser need to make corresponding sounds, drop their weapons, and fall prone (kinda like what happens when people are tased IRL). Also, the taser needs needs electrifying sounds (if they are already present, I can't hear them).
The melee option is still broken. When both an officer and a suspect are moving it is nearly impossible to land a melee hit. Mostly because if someone gets too close to an officer, the officer holds their gun upward (similarly to when you try to ADS close to a wall). FIXME: increase hitbox range while moving and if the suspect is too close to an officer, have the officer cross-check them with the gun stock (rifles, SMGs, shotguns) or punch them (pistols).
Pepperball gun has the same issues listed previously about the Bean bag shotgun. Suspects just brush off being hit by pepper balls and still have John Wick/laser accuracy and response time.
CS Gas is also seeing some problems. Some suspects I encounter that inhale CS Gas do not comply when shouted at but rather keep moving around trying to get into another room and out of the gas.
Flashbangs need to be more consistent.
For the time being, its safer to use lethal force unfortunately.

Certain mods dont work right with the new update, I had a problem with the Umbrella Corp overhaul mod and I deleted the PAK file and it cleared all the problems so most likely, delete some PAK files and should be fine.

12 ga slugs are ineffective
Shooting an armored suspect with a 12 gauge beanbag round from a less-than-lethal shotgun will stun them after a single hit.
(The muzzle energy of a beanbag round is about 150 ft lbs.)
But if you shoot at an armored suspect with a 12 gauge slug from a lethal shotgun? Not only will they shrug it off and continue firing at you as if they were never hit, it doesn't even affect seem to affect their accuracy.
(*The muzzle energy of a 12ga slug is around 2,300 ft lbs of force)

so I don't know if this is a desync issue or something else, but when using toggle ADS, pressing fire will sometimes not fire the gun at all. I didn't see it in the known bugs and i feel its kind of a game breaking issue so hopefully a dev will see this.

The "everything unlocked" mod is what caused this same bug for me so if you have that mod remove it and wait for an updated version of the mod

I am having a repeat issue when ordering an AI officer to restrain a target. The AI will walk over and stand next to the AI with cuffs out but will not arrest them. Repeating the order appears to have no effect. To fix the issue, bumping into the future arrestee will cause the AI officer to initiate an arrest.

the supporter edition weapons should not be selectable or at least there should be a message. Also the muntions menu for AI teammates behaves weirdly. Also unclear why I can't have more 4 mags to a weapon even though you can have more than 4 slots assigned. The whole slot system is just unnecessarily complicated and confusing.

Part of the new June update requires that you give suspects fair warning before using lethal force against them on the "Barricaded Suspects" game mode. This is sensible and realistic.
However, suspects cannot hear you through closed doors or around corners. They can only hear your shouts, calls and warnings if you are looking directly at them. This forces the player to put themselves in harms way in order to avoid receiving an unauthorized deadly force penalty.
Yes, you can use throwables or equipment to try and stun them before breaching, but equipment is finite and not a 100% guaranteed stun.

When editing the AILevelData config file, all maps will take the new data without issue, but Meth will not do the correct Civilian count on both Raid and Barricaded.
Raid will give you 0 civilians
Barricaded with always give you 2 civilians.
Worked with @supple owl with this and he confirmed that the AI config works fine in the supporter build of the game, but is indeed bugged in the public release version.

Upon opening new loadout menu and selecting primary/sidearm, the MODIFY button does not initially appear. Player has to click on the same weapon again in order to change even one attachment, but that cleans the gun because it got "re-selected".

When changing slot numbers (by editing slots or changing armor types], changes are not saved realtime. Player must exit and re-enter the loadout menu to see the changes.

On active shooter mode, civilians should be able to run to more than one "safe zone", then disappear from the map entirely once they are arrested by this mechanic. It is entirely possible for the shooter to run to the "spawn", then proceed to kill any civilians already there or are running to that direction, causing massive score deductions outside of player control. Either this, or make shooters not able to get within a certain distance or have line of sight to the safe zone, since the in-universe explanation is that the local non-SWAT PD are there to control the perimeter.

Got a new error playing w ai teammates, when you instruct them to arrest and secure anyone, sometimes they bug out, standing behind the suspect w their cuffs out but not doing anything
Fix is to bump the suspect so they crawl and then the teammate goes into action
[Graphics] When playing barricaded suspect on Gas Station, I just shot a closet (The closet in the small cashiers area) because too lazy to manually check it. Turns out there was a civilian in there. The blood splatter happened and death sounds, but the AI turned invisible. I was still able to restrain them though.
i go to change loud out, i change the wepon i change everything, and once i exit out of the loudout menu to use my gun its stuck on the loudout i just changed without any of the changes

-Taser doesn't work on certain unarmored subjects
-Doors "locked" but open and cannot be manipulated until picked
-ROE use of force violations on enemies that have clearly shot at you

-(hilarious) Ragdolling of dead suspects that you cuff
-Weapon "cleans" every time it's selected in loadout menu

I think this is a optimization problem. I got a 2070S with 8GB. On any graphic setting the game will run at nearly full 8gb. So if this is always the case, this means the game is unplayable with less then 8gb

in the ridgeline house one of the indoor staircases you can see right through if behind it and can get stuck in the middle.
after the update, mods for ammunition, weapon attachments and gameplay mods do not work for me. After the patch, I also don't see new mp5s, I can't change the ammunition mode and I don't have sapi plates to choose from

You can restrain dead enemies because enemies can now fake their death. If you think you killed him, they sometimes fake it, stand up after a few minutes and attacm from behind. Thats why you can cuff them

Since the last content update, movement is (more) floaty and unresponsive. It also seems like there's an increase in input delay whereby the time between pressing W and actually beginning to move seems longer than it used to be.
The easiest way to reproduce is, if you walk, look at your legs and then let go of W -- you actually have 'inertia' and will slide across the floor an extra few inches or so after releasing W.
Really does make it a slog to play.

I am not able to select a primary weapon. When I select a rifle it reverts back to the CQB shotgun and I am not able to shoot in the firing range or anywhere else.

Also having this issue, only on Twisted Nerve and Gas Station however. Also have a friend who is getting the same issue. Feels like an LoD error. Setting textures to anything below epic causes most textures to not render correctly, including the dots on optics which makes it pretty unplayable unless you use canted sights.

Doors can be locked open. This prevents them being closed. Lock must be picked before door can be closed.

Ok, the game started while I was in the inventory screen.
Exiting the loadout menu and re-entering allows you to see the coverage options again. However, every time you switch armor type (e.g. going from light to heavy) it removes the coverage options from showing up. Solution: always allow coverage selection even after changing armor types.

Just did a full squad run on VoL, Everything ran by quite smoothly until i was unable too use both the lock-pick function & the remove wedge function, This all would be A-okay if the game itself also didn't render me immobile to use the kick door function while holding a multi-tool, Note while performing any of the said actions there would be a continuous red text telling me that i am performing the said function as in example, ''Removing wedge'' same alike for lockpicking.
Hello! just joined because I ran into an issue I've been able to submit a crash report on. It's a bit longwinded but bear with me.
I've tried everything I can before i spend another 3-4 days downloading the game again. Simply put, the exe did not start on steam or straight from the folder. Here's a rundown copypasted from another server I am on where I told others what I had done so far:
verifying game cache/file integrity does nothing
disabling firewalls and antiviruses does nothing (they don't quarantine or block it anyway)
running it in windows 7 compatibility mode does nothing
doing all that and running it in admin mode does nothing
the application launched in steam or directly from its source folder does not start the application up
windows icon spins letting me know that its loading data, but in all cases nothing shows up in task manager or as a new window
but the application never starts, and if started on steam, after asking if I want to use DX11 or 12, no matter the choice, steam acts as if the application automatically closed
already restarted my computer three times
updated my graphics driver on the first
all with the same results
application (exe) does not boot
and, to reiterate for emphasis, verifying game files via steam does nothing
that is to say, steam checks all the files and finds nothing wrong with them, and subsequently downloads nothing
and, to be thorough, other games do launch on my PC before and after all these steps, so the "not starting" issue is localized entirely to Ready or Not
I then asked my friends to tell me if my RoN exe was the same size as theirs (clearly steam's file integrity check is useless in this instance) and lo and behold it was: 234 kb.
One of them sent me a copy of their exe just to see if that would work. It actually did: got a loading window and the app finally showed up on the task manager!
Of course, it crashed with an error I assume is from the exe running on an unrecognized registry.
Just to be clear: my friends and I have all purchased copies of the game. Sending the exe was a test to narrow down what the issue might be.
Update as of writing: I started the game with the dl'ed exe (from a friend) through steam as opposed to the source folder, and alas! I got to the menu! Success aside, steam's file integrity verification system is not reliable.

When I select the M1 Carbine, it puts a shotgun in my hands that I can't even fire.
Do you have the Supporter Edition? MK1 Carbine is a supporter exclusive weapon. It's just a reskinned HK-416 so you're not missing out on anything stats wise.
There's a bug at the moment that's causing Supporter Edition equipment to be selectable to non-Supporters. This is a known issue and will be fixed. Supporter equipment is the MK1 Carbine, the B13 "Entryman", the PFC9 or whatever it's called, and the Rescue Shield. Again, you're not missing out on anything, these are all just reskins of existing equipment.
MK1 is a reskin of the HK-416, B13 "Entryman" is just a reskin of the normal B13, the PFC9 or whatever is a reskin of the G19, and the Rescue Shield is a reskin of the Ballistic Shield.
Yeah no Supporter Edition here so that makes sense. I appreciate the info man. I even uninstalled and reinstalled to see if it would fix it because I had no idea what was going on.

I have issues with AI teammates often times getting stuck before initiating the restrain order. they will walk up to a suspect/civilian pull out the cuffs, but then just stand there not doing anything. I have experienced this far more compared to before the release of the new update.
Got walled-hacked by a suspect in the mansion in the room straight across the side walk on the lobby, left hand wall, that's the only BS wallbang I've seen so far, I was also walking and had no light on, could be something related to that specific area of the level, that's why I'm reporting.
Also the suspects take an insane amount of bullets now, are chest plates way more effective on suspects now? I always use 5.56 AP? maybe this has to do with the penetration issue were hands and arms completly stop the bullet?.

-doesn't seem to work on hiding suspects with knives (?)
Reproduction steps:
-Wait for suspect to take cover, glitch happened in both high and low cover
-flashbang the suspect
-rush while calling for compliance
-suspect will (hopefully) kneel down as per usual
-rapidly arrest the suspect
-the suspect will then quickly stand up, and the glitch will occur
requires further testing, reproduction steps might not be accurate as it only happened twice

-no work around were tested
-picking up the suspect might fix this error, will try if it happens again

While playing this map, there are many times when the AI will gun down me and my squad through the walls of the map, of which I have an example that is just crazy (following clip)
on Neon Club, if you ran towards the police cars and turn around, you can see through the map, this is repeatable every time
If you pick the assault rifle MK1 Carbine and the pistol PFC9 as loadout you get a shotgun and a magnum.
Supporter edition weapon.
Already got my answer sir.
I've gotten this same crash on Squad and trying to recall how I fixed it, it happens randomly after a few minutes. I have used Epic Launcher to assure I have the very latest Unreal Engine update and also have the latest drivers from NVIDIA.

I keep on having to nudge people before my bot teammates can arrest them.
when they have given up and my bot teammate is behind them it's possible that he freezes until I nudge the one being arrested to make them move a bit. after nudging they can be arrested. in that time I could also arrest the person myself.

I don´t know how this happened and I am very confused
There is a bug with tha g19 at least were if you have 2 magazines in total and the one is empty , the player still perfoms tactical reload and inserts the same magazine even though the animation clearly shows that you put another one in.
AI are wallbanging like they have aimbot. Please fix it!

im in settings, inside of settings, when I close one of the settings the original one remains open and no mouse is provided to exit, and when Im in the first settings screen I can move around and shoot, just not see
I don't think any of this map's hiding spots worked correctly, NPC's constantly get stuck. A civilian surrendered in one of these closets and wouldn't come out. Criminals stuck under beds and stuck in closets
everytime i go into a match after rather 20 seconds or 5-10 minutes it says lost connection to host it could be at random times and i usually have good internet in games and im not lagging at all anyone know a fix

in march, I got way over 100 FPS rendered with my 3080. my monitor can display 100 Hz max. now this happens with same settings as in march. no mods.

I've seen this on lots of operators and civilians, when shot the wounds are silver/grey and not red.

Same issue, it is unpalyable for me now.
While in the loadout selection screen my game slowly loses fps. If I sit in that screen it eventually gets down to less than 10 fps. Regularly I get 60+ fps

An exploded civilian still casts a shadow and seems to be spinning rapidly. Unsure if it's repeatable as it's the first I've seen of it.
Civilian was already arrested and carried to where they're seen in the video. Another player detonated them.

From the start point proceed as far as you can hugging the left wall, past the elevators, to the second stair well. If you wedge that emergency door from the outside (while in the stair well that only leads down to an invisible wall), the door wedge disappears and you become stuck. Attempting to kick the door only pulls out multitool, cannot kick with multitool, and multitool cannot find the wedge to remove it. Unknown in breeching shotgun would allow you to escape.
Park homes has smooth/unrendered textures for me same with gas station. All other maps are fine. Any idea how to fix?

This problem is very consistent I cant do a match without happening I turned down the graphics to low and even so I get this problem, and its seems no one from the friends circle has this problem and my rig is better then some of them so I'm guessing is not the rigs problem

shotguns are bugged - seems do not give damage and sometimes after reloading still no ammo in gun

I seem to have found the problem, there is something wrong with the role switching, not only the voice but also the character skin
When changing characters, everything looks normal in the lobby, but when I enter the map, I find that the changes are not applied, and the sound is the same without any accident
The temporary solution I tested is to recreate the room after switching characters(or switch characters first in single player mode)

My 3070 only had a similar problem in the meth room on the 2nd floor of the 213 Raid because of that mirror plus the flickering lights
Until I disabled the mirror dynamic shadows and it improved significantly

Got an NPC which is stuck in the crawling bed animation.
When you kill a suspect which held an Assault rifle who tried rushing you that counts as an unauthorized use of deadly force
I loaded into a map with other people with the menu options overlay on top with nothing pressed prior
I can walk around and hear myself shooting, but the menu stays on and can't leave the map or go back to lobby, forcing me to reboot the entire game
Can't arrest the civ when he surrender in the closet, tried flashbang and firing around to intimidate him, didn't work, he crawl out after around 5 mins later

When you are not a host in multiplayer if you reload with a shield equipped, the magazine magically dissappears, even though you tactical reloaded. Its a really annoying bug, I keep running out of ammo because of this. And the mag doesn't appear on the ground.

- mirror dynamic shadows were already disabled
- had DLSS on balanced all the time
fact: not it runs better than before with your settings as recommended. getting something between 80 and 120 FPS, depending on location on meth
