NON LETHAL MECHANICS BROKEN

Description: Non-lethal mechanics are totally broken after July 15 update, and suspect AI got a serious downgrade. Censorship is the least of my concerns, the game isn't fun to play anymore and S rank runs are near impossible or extremely frustrating. Suspect AI now couldn't care less about pepper balls, tasers, or any of the grenades, especially on the higher difficulty presets. I understand this may be a bit more realistic, but it's unplayable for anyone wanting to do non-lethal runs or use the tools effectively. I also feel like the graphics quality has gone down a bit. I was willing to advocate for you guys in the face of the review bombing over the censorship which is completely overblown. But you broke a key mechanic of your game and somehow made the AI worse by trying to make it smarter.

Repdocution steps: Play the game and try to use non-lethal.

Workaround: Quit game and wish you could go back in time to pre-update when the game still worked.

End of the map fix for scoreboard is required. Player needs to see what prevented from reaching S rank.
Reddit is filled with the similar posts, where people are asking why they didn't get S rank, even though all objectives are complete 100%.
New stat, which is currently hidden, needs to be shown, which would explain why you were unable to reach S rank:

Ends of the earth mission is bugged. 1 suspect always gets stuck moving between the walls in the attic

I have also noticed this in Hide and Seek when enemies try to slide in between the crates to the other side. They always get stuck

On PS5 and the presets are being deleted when I save in the loadout screen. I think the only solution is to save the preset in the preset list. They don't seem to delete on that screen.

Idk if this has been posted alot, but I’ve been having an issue in Lethal Obsession where Gerard Scott gets stuck crawling in the wall next to some vents in the floor in the main area of his house. It happened to me once before and I figured it was just a random glitch, but now on my second playthrough, it happened again. The only way I’ve found to get him out is to either shoot him or throw something non-lethal at him until he puts his hands up.

Is the CS Gas bug known? I didn't finde it. It doesn't fill out the room anymore and isn't as potent and strong anymore. (This goes for Grenades of any sort. Irrelevant if hand thrown shot from ball or Grenade launcher)

Is there an issue with equipping attachments? Sometimes the game won't let me put on a particular attachment no matter what I do. I've mostly seen it with optics, but most recently, I can't equip an IR laser in any way.
Every time I attempt to equip an IR laser on any gun, it just disappears when I exit the loadout screen.

ACTUAL BUG (CONSOLE): when you open the command wheel and let go sometimes it still holds you still because the game thinks you’re still in that menu, you can tell because the D pad shortcuts at the bottom left show the wheel shortcuts for switching between red blue and gold. So your character stands still and sometimes have to re open the menu to move again. This isn’t a big problem until you’re in a gun fight and get locked up.

Also another bug I’m sure this one is known - suspects sometimes can’t be arrested when you walk behind them or sometimes when you go to arrest them and press A the animation cancels and you either have to tell the suspects to move towards you to another area or sometimes holding A fixes the cancelling out problem.

Also the cuffs and officer hands almost never line up with the suspects hands so the animation honestly can look really janky and bad.

And I think when you listen to the scenario of the mission, pressing B should not pause the audio. It should only close the tablet. I think to pause it you should have to reopen it back up and click A on the pause. Because the amount of times I’ve tried to listen to one and clicked B for it to stop is so annoying

IRONMAN MODE NOT WORKING

Started an Ironman save, died on 23 Megabytes a Second, debrief happened as normal and I respawned back in the police station as if it were a normal game. Difficulty standard, commander mode. I was the first person to die out of the officers

Initiate a new game on Commander mode, press X (I'm usiing an Xbox controller) to enable Ironman mode. Press left on the D-pad to go from Casual to Standard, and press X again. Once you load in, you'll get the prompt that has the red text, mentioning that the save can be deleted. Then, you'll know it worked.

The Emperor Achievement isn't unlocking for me... I have unlocked all of the different unique traits for the officers and the achievement didn't pop. Those being: Armorer, Breacher, Intimidator, Kicker, Moral Officer, Negotiator, Nutritionist, Pacifier, Paramedic, Riot Control, S.B.A.G.S. and Veteran.

Yes, they are fully unlocked as I got the experience for all of them and none of them have the lock symbol on their Officer Personnel File. All of the officers are content as well and I have one of each to fully fill out my roster.

I’ve had some bugs happen. Such as, evidence like guns going through the floor, not being able to move for a few seconds or longer especially after doing a command to my ai operators, there was an enemy combatant stuck on incapacitated/dead enemy and kept walking in a direction but was stuck on the body and going into a wall while it was trying to surrender I had to blast him for no reason, small note on either the 4-5 mission with the house trapped the terrain is weird and floaty, I had my save reset randomly after going back to the main menu, cosmetics classes for the ai and personal are resetting or not saving right also changing random pieces of equipment, example I put a light armor on and a light armor look but it kept light armor and had the heavy armor visuals despite not be selected

On mission Rust Belts has been quite common for me to get my teammates stuck at some doors after most of the actions available. Sometimes when they are split at the door one moves and the other stays stuck, most of these situations occur at doors inside the tunnel where there´s not much space. 2 cosmetic bugs that I've been experiencing

1: SWAT NPC's keep having their body armor swapped with the heavy vest even though they have a different vest equipped

That is a game balance decision you don't really want to alter (i.e. you'd have to have at least 6 slot free for the launcher to be even loaded). It's more of a bug that every other weapon doesn't have a mag in it by default without taking a slot.

Hm, without knowing what other tools and stuff you had, it's hard to say. I used no extra breaching, entry, or tactical tools (outside of the lockpick). Just as the achievement described: gasmask, cs-gas, and the VPL-25

Try repairing/validating your files in steam, or launching without mods (you can do this by clicking the cog icon, going to properties, then in General, select the "Play Safe Mode" option in Selected Launch Option

I verified the files (again) and everything was fine there. It does launch when I launch in safe mode, but that's confusing to me because I have no mods installed.

My own experience with these is that sometimes teammates may have interacted with the suspect and didn’t fully arrest them causing it to bug. It’s weird, almost as if once a teammate goes for an arrests the game focuses on that person to do it only not allowing others to go after arrested even if the other player stopped. Almost like a lock for the player who started it.

some things i've noticed:

1: in multiplayer only, either suspects are much tankier or guns are much weaker. A shotgun from 2 feet away usually just results in the suspect acting as if it was a beanbag that hit them, not buckshot.

2: this is a small thing, but a suspect's voice line aren't interupted when they die. On multiple occasions, i have shot someone at the beginning of their voice line and they keep talking even as their arm is removed via shotgun.

3: when i hover over seemingly random presets in the customization menu (not the loadout), my game instantly crashes.

1.When you join a public multiplayer room in Korea, you will be connected to a room with a high ping.

The Flux P320 cannot unequip the IR laser. I have restarted the game, redownloaded it etc. It has been stuck for months. It will even let me add other attachments like the flashlight, but it will not work when I exit the loadout menu: only the IR laser will work.

You can see in the image the IR is still equipped to the Flux even though it says "NO OVERBARREL". And it will still work as if it was selected when out of this menu.

Just reporting what my friends are experiencing in the game right now with the new patch. Hit reg not working, glass being bullet proof for the operator but not hostiles, Weird load in glitch at the station 2 characters appeared in the loading area instead of the one person. AI taking 0 suppression and suddenly become aim bots randomly. AI shooting through walls with perfect accuracy. Flash bangs not working. AI walking into their own door traps. Bodies flying across the room randomly after being handcuffed. Also, people were getting stuck in the vents when they tried to crawl through. Flashbang will sometimes work and then other times you will hear them scream and then come rushing at you shooting or stabbing.

Some bugs I’ve experienced on PS5 :

• SA-58 OSW in full auto has a weird fire rate where it speeds up and slows down.
• Suspects in Ends of the Earth mission get stuck in an animation in the attic and can’t be interacted with.
• Presets sometimes disappear and loadouts don’t update after modifiying.
• Bugged textures all over the spawn point in A Lethal Obsession.
• CS Gas doesn’t seem to do anything.
• Mission briefings sometime start playing automatically when listening to 911 calls, interrupting the latter.
• Equipping a deployable sometimes freezes the player in place. Have to equip back main weapon to move again.

So far i have some small things

• with some guns like the P90 a quick reload YEETS the magazine (funny not bad)
• sometimes when going to the loadout menu for some reason a guns an attachment or all the attachments won't show in gameplay despite the weapon loadout menu showing the gun with the attachments on both the menu and the model, basically i equipped a suppressor on the 506 pistol and after exiting the menu and coming back to gameplay the suppressor was gone and i haven't found a real workaround other than a restart i think (i do not know whether going into a missions fixes it or not i haven't tried)
• experienced this ONCE and i have a clip of it but i was playing with some buds and one of them had no walking animation later in the mission, we don't know why, it was funny though seeing him skate around like he's on ice
  that's all i got for now to be honest no real game breaking bugs it's expected since it just came out (i play on ps5)

Potential netcode issue, when peer, in coop, enemy has hostage, peer player aims at enemy head, fires, hits the hostage which wasn't what they were shooting at, confirmed with laser sight and replay. I was able to reproduce in hospital, ground floor, unit on the right from the er lobby. Seems like enemy head isn't where it appears to be.

You have to use a controller.
Basically; Create a new save (enable ironman-mode before), then you're at the difficulty select screen, hover over your desired difficulty, then you press X (on an xbox controller) to enable ironman-mode (works with any controller).

To whom it may concern, this is a great simulation FPS tactical game play with co-op or AI teammates, a few minor bugs but i'm sure they will be polished by console release date. One thing i did notice with the non-lethal fire arms the option to put a flashlight on it doesn't work. when selected and toggle button for flashlight the laser remains equip rather a attachment is chosen or not on PC. but other than that and a few AI bugs the game is Awesome and definitely worth every penny for the simulation experience of a SWAT Leader And TEAM. update: Jan,16, 2025, since the console release and update for PC versions of the game, it has acquired numerous bugs in civilian and suspects regarding glitching into walls and become un-retainable, evidence in levels seem to disappear or glitch into floor or walls. Character movement becomes impaired after directing orders to AI team(walking stops working) , AI team ignores commands and clearing areas, securing areas has become difficult because of numerous bugs arresting suspects and civilians or collecting all evidence. story evidence doesn't appear or not even a command prompt to recover it will appear specifically in the level (23 Megabytes A Second).

When having 2 or more(?) monitors connected at once and switching from Windowed Fullscreen to Windowed and increasing the resolution stretches the screen making you unable to access settings to fix it (Friend just bought a new monitor so this is how this set of changes happened)

i think its the difficulty , even before difficulties were introduced , you would have a very hard time making an enemy submit while using non lethal , it would make S ranks a complete headache

also pepperballs are almost completely ineffective (imo) , beanbag does the job way better if youre going for S ranks

AI character are targeting and shooting at player and AI team members through wall, and CS gas since update has rendered virtually useless towards suspects. rather it be through pepper ball rounds or CS grenade. game keeps clearing out Rank or Grade on missions as if i never completed but still have items unlocked. on PC version the pepper ball gun attachment is stuck on laser rather it is selected or no attachment selected at all. Level evidence prompts are not able to take action or interact after collecting one the others on the map disappear. especially on 23 megabytes per second level. the evidence prompt disappearing has made most levels difficult to complete without vote to leave and lose point due to lack of evidence collections.

My current theory on the lean bug is that the player gets stuck in a soft collided state when near a dead body or possibly a shattered door? If you handcuff someone and stand in their space, you won't be able to lean. This bug is just that, but it doesn't stop after leaving that space.

Try uninstalling the game, then after the uninstallation is complete, delete the entire Ready Or Not folder inside the common folder, and reinstall the game.

Hey dev team 👋

I’d like to report a serious issue with the trophy/achievement for unlocking all customization items on console (Xbox in my case, but likely affects PlayStation too).

👉 After reaching S rank on all base missions, completing every requirement, and unlocking all cosmetics available on console, the trophy still does not unlock.

After digging into it, it appears that some cosmetics are only available via the Supporter Edition on PC, which is not available to console players.
However, these items still seem to be counted as required for the trophy, making it literally impossible to obtain 100% on console.

Either exclude Supporter Edition–exclusive items from the trophy requirement on consoles

Or make these cosmetics available to console users in some form

hey guys, playing on steam trying to matchmake with the boys on Xbox. Ran into a couple of bugs since the last update. Firstly, Beat Cop does not work in multiplayer even when using only the pistol. No lock pick, no shields, no laser, nothing, just the pistol. This also happened when using the 357 in Rust Belt. Also, had an enemy get stuck in the wall on the 3 Letter Triad as he was transitioning between the crack in the wall for an S rank play though. He got shot by my ai teammate with a pepperball and proceeded to get stuck mid animation. He was the last enemy. (PC VERSION)

I'm on PC and have a load of bugs. Just validated all of my files with Steam too.

1. Loadouts continuously disappear for no reason. I make a load out, save it and it vanishes within 2-3 missions.
2. My interact button will cease working when I play single player. About half way through the mission, I'll attempt to open a door and then the interact button prompt is no longer there. This also affects reporting evidence, cuffing NPCs, and anything that requires the interaction button. Does not affect yelling though
3. Gun attachments continue to vanish. Sights, lasers, flashlights, suppressors, etc. For some reason, I'll select a loadout (one that hasn't vanished into thin air) and the sights will be missing. I take off the sight, back out from the loadout screen into the game, and then put the sigh back on and it's still not there. But if I put on any different sight (the ones I never want to use) that will work.
4. When using the flashbang launcher, when I fire the launcher, the flashbang will go in the opposite direction of where I am looking and hit a wall where I was once standing in single player. There was nothing in my FOV that would cause the flashbang to blow up near me. But I can't control the launcher's flashbang blowing up in the opposite direction of where I am looking

Experiencing a bug with the presets. If anyone is downed (suspects/non-combatants), when you are near them, it acts like proximity with a wall and puts the firearm in the high ready, preventing you from shooting. It acts like when you get too close to a wall, except there is nothing to your front, just a body on the ground.

This must be a bug, on Xbox series x, s and ps5. Probably pc too. Very low resolution and low poly textures and items on Xbox that looks like a bunch of potato wedges stuck together and really pixelated lighting. Xbox can definitely handle more than this.

Not sure if someone already answered it, but make sure ironman-mode is actually enabled (there's currently a bug preventing it from applying correctly).

Workaround;
Create a new save (enable ironman-mode before), then you're at the difficulty select screen, hover over your desired difficulty, then you press X (on an xbox controller) to enable ironman-mode (works with any controller).
Basically you have to enable it twice, once on the first screen & once on the difficulty select screen.

Custom loadout presets are being deleted at random whenever a preset is edited and overwritten effectively making it impossible to create new presets without deleting another you have already created which is borderline game breaking in a game that relies so heavily on creating a custom loadouts to bring the right tools to perform specific tasks. Any advice for a work around or a solution would be greatly appreciated. Love the game but it is incredibly frustrating not being able to create presets without it randomly deleting another.

If you got a mod.io folder inside the Paks folder (\Steam\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks), try moving that to your desktop to see if that fixes it.

Also compare your Paks folder (\Steam\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks) to this screenshot
If your files look different (file-size wise or whatever) that may be the issue

In the "END OF THE EARTH" map, suspects get stuck in this gap when entering the attic.
This happens regardless of the entry method—whether it’s a dynamic entry using a flashbang or a silent solo entry.
It seems that suspects are unable to pass through the gap from either side.

When viewing the "SLY AEROFRAME HELMET" through GPNVGs, the entire helmet appears overexposed or "washed out," making the team identification strobe marker either invisible or very difficult to see.
Could you please look into fixing this issue?

In the mission "A Lethal Obsession", this has happened multiple times when any of the suspects use the vent by the projector, they get stuck in the wood pile above it. Hopefully a fix can be pushed out, as it restricts completing the mission

I have the same problem. On PS5 and probably Xbox too the flip bumper and trigger bind is broken and makes it so that you can’t use it online. Works fine in solo but when playing multiplayer it only lets you use l2 and r2 to aim and shoot and if you have the flip setting on it does both actions and l1 and r1 do nothing

On console you needed to preorder the game to be able to use the guns. PC side gets them for free. This was on orders from Sony and Microsoft, they need games on their platforms to have some sort of pre order bonus. Void is looking for solutions to give guns to everyone at some point.
