Since it crashed with a friend you may want to check and see if either of you have mods that can be causing an issue, otherwise try validating your files and see if anything is corrupted or missing. It could also be that you both played on a map that was a bit too chunky for your pc's to handle, try telling us more specifics, what map were you playing, were you using c2 and/or grenades? Or did it just happen randomly.

Although since the creation of this pic, I've turned:
RED1 more brown non-camo, default gas mask, lighter vest.
RED2 got kneepads on the same trousers.

The second type of buckshot is a bug. It's a suspect-only ammo type we're not supposed to have access to.

It does around 30% damage of normal buckshot and has 7x the spread.

For your other question, normal buckshot is a spread of pellets that is very good against soft targets and limbs (generally 'good' on all maps)

Slugs are single projectile loads that are good for torso hits against everything up to medium armored suspects. (1 hit torso incaps to all but the most-armored suspects)

Enter the main building, wedge the door on the right. Breach the door on the left, doesn't really matter what you use since the AI will be surprised, but you should throw CS in the middle since there are usually 2 suspects.

Then clear the toilets. Then clear the next hallway room, wedge door on the right and check the left door for contacts - if there are any, deal with them, then wedge it.

Now you are left with only one door unwedged (besides the back door). Have AI stack on the right, then open the door, but don't breach, just cross left and right until suspects shoot you and move away so you can cross.

When they stop shooting at you, have AI follow you and breach the door and go left to the stairs. Have AI split stack the door, then use C2, gas and clear (I suggest throwing one to the right yourself, since sometimes there are civilians there and suspects like to take them hostage).

Clear the room, then proceed to balcony. Check it through the windows on the left, it's transparent but AI doesn't see through.

Once you clear the balcony (Jack Adams spawns there pretty often), look left, through the railings. You will see AI, but they won't shoot you since the detection is bugged there. Throw like 3-4 gas grenades, go down the stairs and make AI surrender. Then basically camp and order them to move towards you.

Once you're done with them, go all the way back to the spawn (the same route) and clear the outside from the left side (be careful, sometimes AI wanders around the spawn)

once you see the van with the soft objective, go further and clear out the labyrinth (most likely the hardest part, I had 4 suspects spawn there and I almost died clearing them all out)

then proceed to the door that opens the way to the second reception area. I recommend doing it yourself since friendly AI tends to die there. Watch out for the right side.

When you cleared it, have AI stack on the reception area door, order them to C2 and clear on leader (the door will bring you trouble, so it's best to destroy it with C2). Toss gas further into the left room and clear it.

If you haven't finished the map by that point, just carefully recheck everything
