Loading up the game is fine until I try to load into the headquarters. There is about a 75% chance it'll crash there while loading into the headquarters. If I do get into the headquarters, i wont crash but if i try to get into a mission there is another like 50% chance that it'll crash and after the mission if i die or complete it, then when I try to return I almost always crash. I don't get any crash logs afterwards and it happens every single time

Im pretty sure this is a common bug, in multiplayer, the briefing tablet only works with the host. has anyone fixed this? it seems to be really inconsistent, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. we're doing crossplay, everyone including the host is PC except for one member on ps5. Briefing seems to work for him, but when he returns to the lobby after a match he cannot edit his loadout.

This is a widely known issue that multiple people have been experiencing so I’d assume this is a common bug with the achievement tracking.

If you S ranked any missions pre-update then that’s probably why.

What you can do is check your tattoos and see if the game actually registered the missions as S ranked. If any tattoos are missing, then replay that mission and S rank it.

Not sure what your specs are, I assume it should run fine if you have a GPU that supports DLSS, though the issue could lie in your CPU too. In any case that is what happens. DLSS downscales the game, then upscales it to your native resolution making it "look" like it is normal with slight graphical downgrade usually

I'm having some trouble with multiplayer on console (xbox series x). I'm hardwired into a 1gb fiber connection, getting 1 down and 800+ upload. Everything is up to date. To answer your question, yes, mods can cause that as long as you didn’t blow off their arms. Also keep in mind suspects can play dead sometimes, so try yelling for compliance since they’ll usually respond if that’s the case. If they’re fully down and unresponsive, cuffing them doesn’t really matter for score. It’s mainly there for your own safety to make sure they don’t get back up. You can also run a few games in safe mode to test it. If the issue still happens there, then it’s most likely not mods.

I cannot really give a definitive answer, but if it is happening that frequently, it is very likely being caused by a mod. Any further testing beyond that point would be up to you.

Plenty of people have reported similar cases recently. In most situations this seems to happen after a game crash or something similar.

Unfortunately, if the data wasn’t backed up manually, there’s no way to recover it. For now, the only real prevention is to regularly back up your save data so you have something to restore if it happens again. Fixing the underlying cause would be on Void’s side.

Aside from cosmetics, the DLCs only add additional maps/missions. Those DLC maps are under separate tabs in the mission select menu.

Are you able to see those tabs and access the maps there?

Also, if this is happening in Commander Mode and it’s telling you that you need to complete the main campaign first, the usual fix is to replay the final mission.

If you open Quick Play or a multiplayer lobby and still can’t access the DLC missions there, then they’re definitely not working, since DLC missions should be unlocked by default in both of those modes.

In that case, Make sure you have them enabled:

Go to My Games and Apps
Find Ready or Not
Press the Menu button on your controller
Select Manage game and add-ons
Go to the add-ons section
Make sure all DLCs are installed and enabled

That was a prominent issue before, but it has since been fixed. There was an issue with some mesh file, I can try to look around but I do not believe we have any fix for that.

Hmm I see. My friend seems to be having that issue right now, despite running the latest version of the game. Overall, the game runs fine, around 120 fps, but tends to drop after a couple of seconds to 60-90fps and then going back up, making it look very stuttery from time to time (amplified by opening doors), @idle spindle

The only issue I know of is the door opening. From what I know it was apparently not fixed all around since it was a rather specific issue. There was a whole channel for this bug where people posted their clips, specs and maps it happened on since it was not an issue for every map. I believe this is just a case of some people being unfortunate. What are your system specs anyways?

Well, the game's initial performance on release wasn't best. It ran differently for everyone tbh, you could have same specs for 3 separate PC's and the game could run differently on each one. There were a lot of optimization fixes since, including the weird stutter when opening doors. Though as I said, there is a chance that the mesh fix was not the only cause for this weird door stutter.

It did fix it for me and most of the community.

As for installing mods, the process is mostly the same as on Steam. Once you’re in the game’s install folder, you just need to go to
\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks

Just keep in mind that the Epic and Microsoft Store versions of the game are more limited when it comes to modding support, so a lot of mods that add new content simply won’t work on those versions.

The EOS error doesn’t really matter in this case since you own the game on Steam, so the DLCs are tied to Steam, not Epic.

If you haven’t already, I’d suggest fully closing Steam and restarting your PC so everything refreshes properly. After that, make sure Steam is online and connected to the internet before launching the game again.

My friend seems to be running into issues when opening doors. FPS drops significantly for some time and goes back up after opening a door.
At first we thought it might have been due to ReShade, but the issue persists even when uninstall ReShade and reinstalling the whole game.

Also I would try to untick every core while kicking/opening the door and see which one of them cause freeze because of nav mesh calculation

But today whenever one of us hosts a multiplayer lobby either he or I experiences network latency(both of us live in same country). Hey, Hate to add to the bucket of issues. I seem to all of a sudden have an issue of crashes in quick play however not in commander mode.

I was playing normally, started Rust Belt, and got a game crash in quick play. I select a mission, it loads and I hear the van run for a split second and im kicked out to desktop, however in commander mode the game runs just fine.

the launch option is obsolete for deleting save data, i believe you turn your steam cloud off for ron and then delete your save from C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\ReadyOrNot\Saved\SaveGames and launch the game

Didn't have to do this, just had to look in my %LocalAppData%\ReadyOrNot\Saved\SaveGames\Achievements.sav file and figure out which missions didnt have the €? beside it. Their all in order of the actual missions so it was pretty easy, just a few missions that I had to redo to get it.

So I have an issue where when my buddies try to join me or my other buddy they cannot because it reads “Can not join modded session”. My buddy and I had mods on OG Ready or Not but have since wiped them. We have tried validating files and uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I have deleted all pakchunks and then revalidated my game and we still have this issue.

If you are all on PC, you can simply scroll to the bottom of the gameplay options and enable allow modded players/lobbies as a quick fix/workaround.

If you all want to be absolutely sure all mods are fully removed and avoid the issue entirely, follow this guide first:

Should that not work you can go to steam > right click the game > go to properties > under general you can select a launch option > select Launch Clean Mods / Save Data
Save data aspect should no longer be a factor from my understanding. Should only clean mod data.

Be sure to change launch option back to DX 11 or 12 afterwards.

If you want to be safe you can head to: %localappdata%\ReadyOrNot\Saved and backup your SaveGames folder.

I'm having an issue on linux, Bazzite fedora working through steams proton experimental, when I click on the mods menu it doesn't do anything. It's like it tries to show some kind of interface but it stays invisible, blocking access to all the menu buttons.

The game is a little bit bugged. Took forever to get the Dev Watch because this was also bugged, but I can't get the Emperor Achievement no matter what I do
I finally decided to play the game again after what feels like years and I still cant get the last one...

Steps to reproduce:

• Start the game in DX12, DX11 or Safe Mode
• Play in commander mode
• Unlock all Officers (with some luck) that have all of the 12 Traits
• Never fire, loose or send a officer to therapy
• Unlock all the Officers Ability

• The Emperor Achievement should unlock on Steam
