I'm getting game crashes to desktop before I can complete a mission, hoping for some help before I just concede and go for a refund.

Game runs well but at a seemly random point in any mission the game will freeze then quit to desktop with a critical error.

Hey guys, does multiplayer work right now? I am trying to connect to play multiplayer, but getting "Unable to connect to the epic services, try again later", and temporary network problem stops me from disabling crossplay, all multiplayer buttons greyed out.
My friend is able to connect to the servers and the multiplayer buttons for them are not greyed out. When i try accept their steam invite, it gets accepted but nothing happens. VPNs didn't work, reinstalling EOS/Epic games launcher didn't work, doesn't matter with or without mods still doesn't work.

the MSI center and Steelseriesgg were both just reinstalled. appear to be updated and i don't see any on/off options in the mystic light/ ambient link. Steelseriesgg was allowing me to control lighing for the keyboard and the front chasis light on the laptop but now the chasis light (MSI AURA) is somehow not connected and none of the lights for the keyboard are on. WIN key opens up the tab with apps and functions seemingly normal.

okay so the EC reset didn't seem to do the fix. i did dig back through the MSI center and found in the mystic light feature under the tab (Mystic light settings) the option for (third party RGB overwrite) toggled that off and restarted my PC. now SteelseriesGG appears to be my hub for the lights and they are working as i want them to. Thank you for your help with getting me back on track!

Hey, I found the solution. I will share it here in hopes of helping any other poor soul.
The problem is in the missing certificate "Starfield Services Root Certificate Authority - G2". (Windows 10 reached end of support and no longer receives updates).
I did this, launch a good VPN that doesn't leak (Russian players need this to bypass local ISP restrictions), and multiplayer buttons now work.

For some reason my flashlight and laser either switch, or don't work at all. The first couple of days I played the flashlight worked fine, I tried to switch to the laser once. It didn't work and then the flashlight stopped too. If I have a flashlight equipped like in the video you can see it is doing something when I try to turn it on, but it doesn't actually turn on and I have a laser when I use night vision. There is a variety of weird crashing happening for xbox, there never seems to be a clear cause. Some people just crash for no reason, some crash when they do something specific.

My game keeps crashing when I try to play with friends and occasionally when I play alone. Hey,

I’ve been having an issue for the past couple of months where the game consistently crashes when entering missions via Quick Play. The crash occurs right as the mission intro cutscene begins, specifically the van scene with the squad. This happens every single time without fail.

The game crashes straight to the desktop with no error message. Steam does not report a crash, and the Unreal Engine crash reporter does not appear. I’ve checked for crash logs, but none are created for this issue, even though logs have been generated in the past for other crashes.The only mod i ever installed was "uncensencored or not". But this was after the crashes were already happening, and removing it seemed to make no difference.

Things I’ve already tried:

Verifying game files

Uninstalling and reinstalling the game

Clearing mod data and save data

Running the game in safe mode

Updating Windows

Updating GPU drivers

Testing with a different graphics card

None of these have resolved the issue.

Windows 11

RTX 4060 Ti

Ryzen 9 5950X

Jus bought the game, when it finished installing I ran it, it showed I had to install/update something (security I think?) to play the game. But the game loaded at the same time this popped up and crashed (I assume it’s because I didn’t install the stuff yet). After that I couldn’t get to this pop up again to install whatever it was, and I’m stuck with a game that crashes every time I try to load it up

Because we have no servers people join to. Region settings exist so people in that region select it to prevent EU from joining to NA and vice versa. Unfortunately players do not use correct regions and someone from EU could have created their lobby for NA region to join and due to the distance it gives you a high ping

I do not believe there was one throughout RoN's history

It was always p2p, aka connection of all people in the lobby depending on their distance away from the host, and the internet quality of the host and all other players.

We switched to Epic servers in order to facilitate crossplay, but all connection is still p2p

If that is the case, I am fairly certain this was hosted on an archived version of the game. Because of that, it would not appear on the current version on SteamDB. Only supporters who purchased the game during that period would have access to that version.

the problem started a couple months ago it starting from randomly crashing after a bit in multiplayer and then a few days after that the game crashed when loading into HQ and if i use menu mod to load into mission it will freeze in a few min. and crashed it has been happening for months now and i cant fix it

i alr tried uninstalling all the mods and reshade + deleting all of their related files
updating CPU and GPU drivers
verifying the game files
uninstalling delete everything left in the directory and reinstalling
rename sl.pcl.dll to sl.pcl.dll_backup
set everything in the graphic settings to the lowest possible settings cap my FPS at the lowest
launching the game in safe mode(i usually run the game in dx11 bc it will ran out of memory and crash in dx12 and yes i alr tried that too)

nothing has worked for me most of the time it doesnt show any logs at all but it managed to put one out for one of the crash idk how but here it is

Hello, I'm trying to play with my friends, but every time the game crashes my PC. My PC shuts down completely all of a sudden and restarts. Even reinstalling the game and even Windows doesn't help. Yet I have a good setup, and this is the only game that does this to me. My setup:

Got about 40 hours in the game so far. Finally got S-rank in Elephant in quick play, then my PC crashed while returning to HQ. After reboot, I started the game up again, and all my progress was lost. I still have my Steam achievements, all my in-game stats are there, but none of my mission completion unlocks. When opening quick play again, my only option is Thank You Come Again (which it lists as having been completed as S-tier), but nothing later.

Steam Cloud shows 100% up to date, and a verified all files through the Steam menu

Well that's a new one. Never had to manually save a saved game because the game randomly deletes itself like that. This game is jankier than I thought.
