Chat, if I as a nasty ps5 player who bought the standard edition (thinking logically that I could later buy stuff like the triple weapon pack as add ons) found out this game is prejudiced against me for that decision and learned if I want the rotary grenade launcher (which I do) I will need to buy the deluxe edition, will I if I just bite the bullet and drop 70 bucks on this game on top of what I paid for the standard version, keep my standard version data?

Can someone help me with my game crashing the whole pc all the time? It started after update for consoles and since then, every single time it loads a new map, it takes ethernity. Moreover, when im idle or playing, the game crashes the whole system. It took me 3-4 restarts to read just the briefing of a mission. I havent owned or played the deluxe edition of ready or not in any capacity, PlayStation can be weird sometimes idk if my standard version will just get dlc content added or if it will try to add a new game to the thing entirely (like it does for example when you upgrade a ps4 version to a ps5 version)

Timeout is a generic error, I can't say much besides sync up your time in system settings, disable VPNs, restart Steam, check your connection, that kind of thing.

Try replaying port one more time but if one was done in COOP then it is known that COOP achievements can sometimes be inconsistent.

I didn't find any mention of this bug so I'll post it here. I got the Hermit Achievement but never got rewarded with the Golden Watch. In frustration I installed a Cosmetics Unlocker, but it's not as rewarding as just having it unlocked from your hard work.

I don't want help; WE want the game we bought to work. Details? Where does one even begin... 1. The guns are not representative of the power factor they realistically possess. 2. AI kills you through three walls and a bus, before you can even see them. 3. It takes between 5 minutes to 45 minutes to start a public game; because it either says failed to connect or you wait just to have the dude with 1 person in his lobby kick you. 4. Frequent objectives missing from a map, so you have to restart until they all register. 5. Spontaneous freezing, crashing, bizarre in game events, etc. Idk how the people on PC are getting along, but I can definitely speak for a number of PS5 players that want to love this game, but suffer from everything mentioned above. Does my comment still mean nothing? With the amount of people who would agree with me, I daresay declaring the game broken would be obvious.

First off, I love the game and have had few problems with it but day before yesterday after taking a break from playing for a couple hours, trying to get all missions to S rank, I fired up the game to try the last mission I need to get to S, went to single player, quick play, loaded into station fine, pick 3 letter triad, hit y and after the countdown, it tried to load for 2 or 3 seconds and crashed to desktop, no nothing just straight to desktop. Since then I have went through every fix I can find. It doesn't matter what mission I chose the game crashes to desktop everytime in quick play. I am getting 145+ fps at station. So I rebooted into my windows 11 dual boot, fired up Ready or Not which had run it fine before, just runs better on bazzite so I play everything on my bazzite install, the game crashed to desktop 2 to 3 seconds after trying to load a mission. I got to the station in single player quick play no problem, running 115ish fps. After wiping my windows hard drive a while back to install Windows 11 pro, from win 10, I reinstalled all games and everything worked fine. I have not installed any mods since then on either my windows 11 or bazzite install. I uninstalled, reinstalled, verified files, looked for any modio folders, found none, but deleted ModData.sav. I have fired up the game in safe mode in both windows and bazzite, I ran the Launch Clean Mods/Save Data on both installs. I'm giving up and asking for help. One thing that surprised me was my son can start up a multiplayer game, I can join it and play any mission so not sure what's up there but please help.

It is a common issue when the game crashes, it seems to wipe progress regardless of mode, not something I could comment on specifically besides it's not PC or console specific

What OS are you using and is it up to date

There is something I want to try that probably won't work but it's worth a shot. Go to ready or not > readyornot > engine > binaries > win64 and open the crash reporter, then try to open the game again and let it crash. Check if a crash log pops up, doubt it, but worth testing.

There is one more thing we can try but I do not know if it will work. Do a clean reinstall of the game. Go to %localappdata% and delete readyornot

Then go on Steam and hit uninstall, then reinstall

Your friends PC crashing is an indicator of a hardware issue. It's normal for games to crash, it shouldn't take the PC with it. Have them update their graphics drivers and their processor

That won't realistically solve the problem of your whole PC shutting down.

To diagnose that you will have to look at your components and see if any is faulty or starting to show damage beyond what's in range of normal use

The only files in "paks" that should be there are up to the pakchunk number 22, mods usually start from 97+, so remove anything above 22, in case you have a "mods" folder inside "paks" folder, remove everything there as well, in the case of mods.io, purge the mods via settings, it should be at the bottom if I remember correctly

I made one small typo, I meant in case of mods.io, if you downloaded anything there, then make sure you purge it via in-game settings, nexusmods (unles done via vortex mod manager) are downloaded manually and cannot be removed via game settings

Switch DX version, if you are using 12 there will be longer load times because you are loading assets, in 11 there is shorter load times but assets may load on demand instead of preloading.

Launch the game in safe mode, and then try to load in

If the game loads in, it means you have mods that are not working with your game. And two mods that work together do not cause this on a normal basis, there has to be some other mod, perhaps some older one that causes issues. If you have "mods" folder inside your "paks" folder, then delete the "mods" folder or it's contents. If you ever downloaded something via mods.io, then clear your mods cache or folder by loading in to the main menu and clearing it there.
