3060s have two models as Nom said, but both should have sufficient vram. That error indicates something is using a lot of it and cannot allocate enough for the game. Are you mining bitcoin or something? Try disabling any background processes using vram. Task manager has a tab in the processes section to show vram usage.

after the update, i removed all the old mods from vortex, paks and mod.io. Redownloaded the game which took me 9 hrs to do and download more new mods. I even updated vortex and I've still been getting this notification when i startup the game and then it just stays on a black screen and needs to be closed with task manager. so when you delete a vortex mod your not actually deleting the mod from the game folder

so you want to enter the file and delete the folders inside. DO NOT DELETE THE FOLDER.

Hello! I played game on linux and everything was perfect, however then I launched it from windows all my progress was erased. It also overwrite my cloud saves, and now game wants me to play training. Is there a way to reverse the change or manipulate saves manually?

Your save data is stored here on windows: %localappdata%\ReadyOrNot\Saved\SaveGames

So maybe if you haven't reopened the game on your linux your original save data may still be there just have to find where that location is on your linux.

Otherwise the only option you have if you don't want to replay the game is to download a 100% save which you can find on nexusmods.

Other than that there's nothing to be done.

Also you have to make sure steam cloud saves are disabled before making any changes and your game has to be closed during the process.

Hello, is anyone able to help me better understand the requirements for the achievement "Way out West" on Steam? The achievement requires that I use the .357 Magnum as a weapon on Cayote (I think Cayote may be the old name for Rust Belt.) Anyway, myself and my friend have made a loadout which has only ammo for the .357 Magnum and nothing else. The entire loadout is empty except for ammo for the .357 Magnum and armour but that is it. We completed the mission, I've done this many times but I don't get the achievement. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Could somebody give some insight on this? Thanks

That is a very good point. I did other achievements in Ready or Not and only had issues with this one however. I'll make a report anyway. Worst case scenario is that there's nothing they can do but I may be able to find workarounds to fix the issue myself such as doing it solo or having a friend host the session instead

I've been trying to get a better understanding of the suicide system for the suspects. I noticed in the datatables that Vinh [A suspect on Beachfront] has an override suicide chance of 100% but I've never seen him try to do it.

I've seen brixley, and suspects on club/hospital do it before, but haven't seen anyone try it since the Dark Waters update.

This led me down a rabbit hole of trying to get any suspect to do it. No matter what I seem to change through mods or try in-game, I haven't been able to get any of them to do it.

Some things I've tried:
Changing suicidechance in AILevelData.
Changing the suicide-related values in the AI datatables.
I even tried hunting down the ActionPreset for the suicide action but I couldn't determine which one it actually is.
I found AP_surrender and AP_giveup and initially thought Giveup might be it, but that hasn't really seemed to make an impact no matter what I change.

I'm kinda at a loss right now. I'm not sure if the suicide system is having issues atm, or if I simply just don't understand it well enough. Anyone have any ideas???

I’m trying to play Ready or Not with my cousin, but we’re facing a big issue with ping. I’m in Europe, and my cousin is in Australia. Whenever one of us hosts a server, the other ends up with over 300+ ping due to the host’s region.

We’ve tried using a VPN and changing Steam's download region, but it doesn’t seem to influence the host region or improve the ping.
I’m wondering:

Is there a way to force the game to use a specific server region or a middle-ground location when hosting?
Are there plans to implement dedicated servers or matchmaking with region selection?
Is there any other workaround that might help us reduce ping?
I’d really appreciate any advice or guidance!

Hello, I have a really weird sound bug and I don`t know how to fix it. In short, as soon as I start the game, the in-game sound is totally muffled. However, if I tab out and the game runs in the background, the sound is totally normal. As soon as I tab back in though, it is back to muffled. I really tried everything I could think of to fix it, reinstalled, changed versions, checked the game files, updated all drivers, changed the screen mode and checked the aduio settings. I would be very grateful for any tip or help. I've had this bug for a long time and it appeared after an update. Maybe it is known already in here and somebody knows how to fix it

I haven't heard of this before, have you tried unplugging your audio devices and plugging them in? Setting them as default on Windows sound settings?

You can also look at the audio options while the game is open to see if maybe there is some interference there, but I've never heard of this.

I have the logitech pro X Gaming Headset. And to use it, you need the logitech app. The logitech app has presettings for games. If I change that to Ready or Not, it also becomes muffled when I am tabbed out

The bottom line is that connection lost is a generic error, it means that you or the host lost connection. It is the same as saying that "game crashed" is a known issue for two years because different issues have come forward that crashed the game.

If you've done all you can, then you've done all you can, but you also have to understand that the game is P2P dependent and other players are just fine.

It is likely fixable but you have not furnished us with the info needed because you are entirely convinced your system cannot have anything wrong with it.

I am on a 240Hz monitor with RX 7900 GRE and 7600X. Neither are being fully utilized and it is 100% a bug. I cannot get over 120fps cap. I have quadruple checked that my Radeon software is not capping the frames as well as Windows display settings. I even tried turning on the in game cap and lowering below 120 to see if that responded and it did. I can cap my FPS in game at anything below 120 as well and it works. But then when I "uncap" the frames in game and in my Radeon software, I still am hard capped at 120. Any ideas why this is happening and how to fix it? It is only this game causing this issue.

Further, the fps uncaps when I go into the menu screen or the mission select screen. It only caps at 120 when I actually am in-game like in the police station or in raid.

In DX12 the game compiles shaders on loading screens unless you keep fiddling with video settings while in gameplay without rebooting (which you should not do by default in any game).

Usually the antivirus will quarantine files so even after making an exclusions files that were already quarantined will remain there until restored. If they can't find them than they'll have to verify the game again.

Still, I'm not overly sure it really is the antivirus issue, as that error is usually a different message, and the one shown is usually given when missing core game files. Yet since they were able to run the game in safe mode, which I don't think would be possible in either circumstance, that shouldn't be the case, but regardless, I recommend they try verifying again, ensure they have no mods in their folder before doing so, and run the game without mods to see if it's working.

OK I fixed it by downloading a mod from the nexus, which made my game crash, which prompted me to wipe all mods, which logged me out of mod.io, I then logged back in, and it updated it, and it works now.

That is an issue with integrated graphics, try lowering your shadow settings.

RoN has never fully supported integrated graphics cards, so I wouldn't know. I do not know the backend side of those things.

Can’t start a lobby or single player game

A few months ago when launching Ready or Not I would get a “Out of video memory” error and the game would close. This doesn’t make sense since I have 60gb of ram for my GPU. Eventually I factory reset my pc and that fixed the issue, verifying game files, uninstalling/reinstalling, and clearing game cache on Steam didn’t work.

The issue started again this week, same error message, I’ve gone through the same steps mentioned above (aside from factory reset) except I cleared all Ready or Not saves and files from my pc’s hard drive and steams common folder.

This fixed an issue where it was crashing on launch before the main menu but I still can’t load any multiplayer or single player lobbies.

I’m thinking it might be my Intel I9-1400KF Processor but it passed all the tests I ran.

Does anyone know what might be causing the issue? I don’t want to factory reset my pc again.

You need to update your bios and hope it’s not too late

nope. I followed what you said to solve the graphic issue. I found a fix though, just uninstalled and reinstalled and started a fresh save.

hey guys, im playing ready or not for the first time and i can start the game no issue, but once i click any type of mode and it gets to 100%, it closes the game instantly and crashes. i have a pretty good computer, i can run high graphic games and if my computer really just wasn't good enough i feel like at least turning down the graphics all the way would have fixed it to make it at least playable, but it's crashing as if it's not something to do with my hardware or computer requirements. if anyone has encountered this issue or could help me sort it out somehow that would be great. i can send my pc specs too if you need it.
