Alright, I'm back. Gonna be honest here, performance improved somewhat to the point where I just can play it OKish (still not UE4 smooth). I used to have 25 FPS on Valley but it now jumped to 40ish, loading times is massively improved for me (from 1-2 minutes for a level to load to just 30 seconds). So yeah I can play the game now (still need a lot of improvement).

Texture, AA, Effect : High
Shadow: Med
AO, Reflection: Off
View Distance: Epic
1600x900 with FSR3 On Quality

Specs:
i5-10300h
GTX1650 4GB
RAM 16GB
Installed on NvME

hey guys, while enabling DLSS Frame generation the ingame fps counter says I'm at a stable 72 fps on 144hz. However, using the Steam Fps overlay it says 144 fps, The xbox game bar also says 144. does anyone know what's going on here?

Does anyone else have the issue where when you queue the red and blue team at 2 places and press execute the will swap positions and then they will execute each others movements at those entry points. So you press execute and watch them swap positions before executing their queued command. I havent been able to find anything anywhere so maybe it is a setting or player error.

Not everything. But certainly a few things. I think the issues regarding downscaling are simply a black box issue moving to a new engine. I’ve worked in development for many years and engine changes can be rough.

Well, based on some things I have seen people say it doesn't happen on custom maps. So it may be related to something Void does in the level script or in the maps, I can't say for sure. But it at the same time seems to affect low spec more than mid to high spec.

based on my observations it's related to workload saturation on CPU, CPU is just running out of resources and then there is some kind of desync of tasks which needs to be executed in some order

As for being compatible, any Graphics Card is compatible to a motherboard that has PCi Express x16(aka, whatever potato mother board exists...)

Now how well will it perform will only depend of the data speed the motherboard can handle from the GPU to everything else, combined.

I have some news for you: It is ancient. This was top dog back in 2012, we're in 2024. Sure it still crawling its back to survive, but it's been 12 years this thing was peak.

3050 will defintely surpass it, altough I'd rather buy something else, unless you're short on money. Just be aware the 3050 is an entry level GPU, and today's world is just way too unoptimized.

It is a solvable issue.
I'm able to talk to users that have identical specs to what's listed in https://discord.com/channels/310075021882294272/1276282337180516446 and have no freezes, which indicates it's not an error in the game causing a problem.

It is very likely either-

• The users PC missing some piece of software, driver, or common distributable library
  OR
• Software on the users PC that is interacting badly in the game for one reason or another.

This freezing is occurring with many players, I would say 70% is happening, this error happened after adjusting the engine for Unreal 5

If it's the first one, we can include it in the games software package, which would make the issue disappear entirely.

If it's the second one, we can account for it in our own software and advise users to not use that software.
However for this one, part of the problem is that users are experiencing freezes with entirely fresh installations of Windows and only basic drivers, so it's much less likely that that is the issue.

It's not a software error or any type of error. This error started after changing the engine. We can be sure that many players are complaining about this. I can only play on mod maps because the original maps are frozen.

That's what I'm saying. Updated effects or packages on our maps in UE5 may not be properly supported, if we can figure out exactly which ones are acting badly, we can fix it.

If two players with the same exact hardware play the map and get different results, then it's a software problem.

Hey in SP mode I cant change the loadout at all, it swaps back to a loadout I had days ago. I tried reinstalling the game didn't work nor did restart the game and I use 0 mods, however the loadout works in MP which I don't understand why. If you can, get lossless scaling, run the game in a lower resolution, windowed. Loss less scaling will do the rest.
Alternatively just make the game fullscreen and run a lowerr resolution

There's really isn't much to be done to be honest, I had to do that, else I'd be running sub 60 fps.

But yeah the only saving grace for performance now breaks scopes, go figure. And with how long it's been, I don't think there will be a hotfix anytime soon I guess.

Hey, having this issue on the level "Ides of March", it's not showing as Resolved. We beat this level several times already with a friend of mine and for him it always shows at Resolved, but I always get the Unresolved sign under the grade. Hello there. I'm currently playing with my friend and after the last patch we can't complete mission for both of us. Problem looks like someone host, another one join, complete mission(any rank) and host have solved in his mission selection(+ rank) and another unresolved or just not receiving rank-update(for example on the Lethal Obsession we had A, recompleted for S, but only host has S-mark). But in the end both of us received the tattoo or other stuff as the reward.
We are playing without mods.

Does safe mode not give achievements? I've been playing with a couple of friends and some specific achievements haven't worked for either of us non-hosters, just the host. Achievements being "way out west" and "hidden and dangerous". It does seem to be counting the S ratings towards the bundled achievements though

If it's installed and you aren't on safe mode, then the mod (if it is working) will apply in-game. If it's a skin, you'll see it on the gun, if it's gameplay changes, you should see those changes, but if it's AI, you won't really know unless it is a major change.

Hey everyone, I hope you are haivng a good evening. I'm new to RON and I wanna continue playing but man... the constant crashes have been crazy.

The game crashes when: sit afk in the menu/station, use the workbench to change weapons for more then 30 seconds, randomly during missions without a pattern. No mods, stock game + also own home invasion bundle. Crashes INCREASED after purchasing the DLC but I cannot verify if there is a connection.

PC: 4070 TI, 7600x, 32gb of GSkill ram, MAG B650 TOMAHAWK, Windows 11 Pro

i cant get in to the game every time i try to load in to a game steam and every thing else crashes.
i tried playing on direct 11\12 safe and clean and i ended up losing all my saved data

I got a problem with the Achievements,
Today I tried to get the "the Fool" and the "Way Out West" Achievement and tried multiple things, but Steam didn't recognized them. I first did them in the Quickplay mode with mods, didn't work. I tried it totally alone in Coop: Friends only and use only the Revolver (No Bangs or other Gear, except Armor) in Save Mode and didn't get it after slaughtering multiple Mexican smugglers. I also got beat up by multiple NPCs, by Amos Wife and diffrent Civs in Dorms... No Achievement, neither in Quickplay with Mods, nor in Save Mode in Friends only Multiplayer all on my own

It sounds like you might be running out of memory while you play and it causes everything to close? What are your specs

What worked for me was uninstalling the game, deleting all the files that already existed, ready or not, on my PC (my documents, in appdata, in the steam folder).
Then I used CCleaner to delete all the traces that it left in my registry and it solved the online problems and greatly reduced the freezes

Hey, guys. I'm having the problem where my RoN is crashing a lot.

I've already read the other discussions on how to solve it and whatever but it keeps happening.

It doesn't give any information on why - it simply freezes up sporadically during the missions. Doesn't seem to have a trigger or specific situation where that happens.

I have a Nitro 5 Intel i5 7th with 24 ram, 235gb with a GTX 1050 Ti.

Just factory reset 2 days ago. Only installed duck duck go, steam, RoN and Ground branch.

Before resetting it wasn't even opening and took forever to load (on safe mode launch) the main menu and missions, which used to crash as well.

Enter folder x64
Put the listed files:

• d3d11.dll
• and dxgi.dll
  in

After that
create a txt file and named dxvk.conf [Make sure you can change the type of files]
and write this into the file:

Disk Write Error is Steam's way of telling you that it has no permission to write data to disk.

Last data to be transferred are binaries, so it more often than not fails at the end due to needlessly aggressive antivirus/anti-malware that decided to block the files.

Beyond that you can use the clean save/mods launch option, but you will lose your progress unless you make a backup of it first

Hello, I have tried installing some mods since the big update but now nothing seems to work for me. Via the ingame mod menu all mods download and I can play the game, Nothing just works. If I try via Nexus mods, the game gives a corrupt files error when launching. This happens with multiple mods but didn't happen before the big update...

If you're getting corrupt files it's because the mods are outdated. You need to download mods that are uploaded/updated on or after July 23rd of this year.

I have... numerous problems with the replay system. Often times, my replays dont have gunshot or voiceline audio, only the sound of weapons dropping to the floor. The NPC's will also just not react to being shot / A-pose after being shot. I also either don't know how to use the spline curve tool in the replays, its bugged, or just not finished yet. I'd love to creat some cinematics for this game, it's a favorite of mine, but without these tools, it's nigh impossible.

Check your fans if they have 2 cables then they likely do have rgb if only one cable then no rgb

You have low vram with that card, and it looks like you have a laptop. So you will have to minimize background programs, run low settings, and possibly increase page file to get a playable experience on dx11

Hey, guys. I noticed my game always freezes when AI is stacked up and I get somewhat far away from them.

If I pause the game on a mission for a couple of minutes and then go play, it's less likely to freeze up.

Also, I'm still testing but it seems like if I play with AI just following me and not having them stacked up somewhere and leave them the game doesn't freeze.

Well for one you don't have a dedicated GPU, so you are not in the minimum requirements. Two, there are multiple versions of DX12.

So update your windows, and try dx11 with low settings

my group of friends and myself are constantly crashing in coop. almost never get through a map. We've tried on a couple different computers and I also tried through GeForce Now since I have a sub with them. Crashes regardless. We've run fix local files. Cleared out Appdata\local stuff. We don't believe we have any mods running. At this point we just want the option to roll our game back to pre-DLC update time. It was flawless and one of the best gaming experiences we've had in years. Now we find ourselves playing HellDivers 2 instead.....and that should say a lot.

If you are playing a custom map, you need to wait for it to make the world data like it says. Same goes for it getting stuck on 100% loading

When i try loading into a map my game always crashes and gives me the "Ready or not has encountered a critical error and could not recover" I have tried on safe mode and DX12 and DX11

Post the pc specs, OS version, and go into windows explorer, click on the address bar, type %localappdata%, then go to ReadyOrNot\Saved\Crashes and post the xml file from inside the most recent uecc folder.
