Whenever I launch Ready or Not it immediately crashes on DirectX 11/12 but not on safe mode. I did the option to delete save date (mods, loadouts) and the delete mod data but it still crashes. Anybody able to help? I believe it might be a corrupted mod hidden somewhere or something hindering the game since it still works on safe mode but I don't want to have to always use safe mode.

I would personally try to lower everything to low and see if the CPU is still at 100%, but after I googled your CPU is not much of a difference from the minimum sytem requirements. And as of rn the game performs poorly even on higher end device so we can't really confirm what's the actual system req for 1.0. CPU's jobs are usually executing game logic and commands so idk which settings that will affect CPU but I would say try everything

Try launching the game in safemode. If it works, but DX11/12 do not, you have mods and need to remove them using VVV

Go to Steam\steamapps\common\ready or not\readyornot\content\paks . Delete everything that is not a windowsnoeditor 0-20 pak, and then navigate to %localappdata% > and delete readyornot. Finally, verify your game files

Update your graphics drivers and Windows

If all else fails, do a clean reinstall. If the game is installed on an external drive, try to reinstall it on an internal SSD preferably.

After 1.0 update, I tried all high to low graphic settings experience screen shuttering. I stand still my fps is 100+ whenever I look around and move my fps drop alot. I'm planning to upgrade my pc from Ryzen 5 3600 with GTX 1660 to Ryzen 5 5600x with RTX 3060 Ti. If it's not rlly heavy on CPU, I think I'll just skip the CPU upgrade for now and just get the 3060 instead of the Ti and have it work with my Ryzen 5 3600. I'm having a different issue where I simply can't modify graphics options. The game lets me change settings and even saves them in the menu but doesn't actually reflect any change after I hit "apply settings".

I close and relaunch the game and my graphics options have saved but they haven't actually happened. I even get weirder stuff like scrolling the Texture Quality option and having it go through Medium to Medium to Epic to Medium again. Like, just missing Low and High for some reason. They reappear in the end but it's just such a strange issue.

You have to check your input and output devices, you can't set it in game so you have to check it from your OS. RoN will use the default pretty sure

The game is crashing when playing multiplayer with other people. Singleplayer works fine, hosting an mp lobby and then starting it solo works as well, but as soon as I try to play with anyone else it instantly crashes after the loading screen during the countdown. Also a reminder after you launched the game in safe mode, you need to verify game files again because safe mod might delete game files for some bug reason

From my understanding, because the currency change on your steam store region, they can't sell it to you with the old price therefore they disabled it. But I could be wrong, and hopefully I'm wrong. You should def contact void support for help or at least explanation

Hello everybody! I am struggling with a major issue with my game. As hardware I have theese: Graphics Card: XFX RX 7600, CPU: Intel i3 12100f, RAM: 16 GB(2x8), an SSD and 600W Power supply. I am playing the game as normal. My fps is fine, there is no drops, my cpu is running wit its %40 and my gpu is running like %70. I am controlling my team, clearing the rooms and then suddenly... So to my knowledge uninstalling mods is as easy as you installed you in game that is. Just like you clicked "subscribe" to install, click it again to uninstall then restart your game.

Your settings will be reset. I think steam redownloads your safes. If you want to be safe, copy the "SaveGame" folder from ReadyOrNot>Saved somewhere and paste it back in after lauching the game

So the majority or the reason was I was using an external drive for RON. However I do also believe that the new update somehow completely fucked up my steamlibrary as others had the exact same problem and weren't using an external drive like me. I deleted the drive from steam and then deleted the steamlibrary altogether in files. Suddenly everything is installing beautifully as it should. That solved the problem for me.

Hey guys, as the title says I'm unable to launch the game since the latest update. I played 1.0 on December 17th and it played just fine, as usual. 2K Monitor with HdR 2560x1440 resolution with Epic graphics settings. Today I tried to play with the new update that took forever to download and I get even get past the main menu, the game crashes, telling me the game uses too many resources.

I lowered my setting to low, reduced my resolution, changed monitor and still couldn't play. Anyone has any clue what to do in this situation ? I have 16GB of VRAM so that shouldn't be the issue.

try running the game with DX12 and turn DLSS off. In some rare cases DLSS might help, but overall it causes a lot of stuttering for me most of the time.
The first time you use DX12 it might stutter a lot, just give it a few min so it can properly load everything in. Been using DX12 the past few days now and I get around 80FPS consistently (capping your framerate to a value your pc can handle consistently also helps)

Hey guys, I have a better PC than all of my friends, by miles, talking about a 3070 compared to 1070 and i5 compared to i9 and I still get worse performance than all of them

I'm always the last to load in and I constantly have my game crash during loading

Hi Dev, I have a weird issue ever since getting the 1.0 update and the latest bug fix. The game does not even launch. I get a Not Responding in tskmgr when i launch the game.
I'm rocking a i7-4770 with 16G Ram, on a GTX 760.

I've already checked the game files and validated it, reinstalled and didnt help. Any advice?

you can try the "safemode" startoption and you can try to delete the ready or not folder in appdata if its a config issue

i somehow had the same drops. i set EVERYTHING to the lowest setting possible and deaktivated every checkmark and restarted the game in dx12. then it runs completly fine and i could set everything to epic again. DLSS off

People with NVIDIA Cards can try to set the shader cache to 100GB or unlimited. the stutters can come from live shader compiling

the only thing i did too, was to set the launchoption in steam: "-high -novid" but normally this should not change anything. but you can give it a try

i know. i had excactly the same problem. i played in dx11 before 1.0 because i had stutters with dx12. after the 1.0 update i had like 40fps in the station xD

If it crashes on DX11/12 and works on safe mode then def mods. I'm sure you deleted it improperly. So follow the steps I gave you and your RoN should be good again
