Hello! I have never had this problem before on RoN or any other games. I decided to fire up the game again after a few months of not playing anything, and I sometimes struggle to have the RMB and LMB to reconize the press. For example if I press 10 times, 1 of 10 times it does not register. It starts to get a little annoying. I have tried to Google, but I am unable to find a solution. Any one had the same problem, or know of a fix to this? 😊

Hey guys, I just got admin banned for the first time in my life (across all games) cause I cussed a dude out for actively griefing me.

(Shot me when I was flashing my flashlight at him to show I wasn't a baddie, then killed me while I was handcuffing civ.)

I've already had a grump of a day so I took it out on him by calling him an idiot in chat and telling my teammates to kill him as he was griefing. I was banned around 5 minutes later.

I understand that this is unbecomming of me and I deserved a ban for it, but is there a way that I can get that as a temp ban so I have some future of returning to the game? I would hate to have to uninstall and lose my money over one fit of anger as I have many hours in the game up to now without similar outbursts.

Bans are handled by individual server hosts, the in-game queue is likely having the issue where it is trying to return you to the banned lobby. Restart the game or wait a few minutes before requeuing

Can you open it through the steam application? There are a few options like dx11, dx12, and clear mod data. Try clearing the mod data first, then try clicking on dx12. If dx12 doesn't work, then try dx11. If dx11 doesn't work, verify the files and try dx12 and dx11 again.

Try hitting reset to defaults and see if it persists. Try restarting your game, Steam and/or PC, check if your anti-virus is blocking RoN while the game is open, check if Steam/RoN has permissions to edit the folder it is in

The best bet is to try playing a little with both and to see which runs better for you. Generally DirectX 11 tends to run better though

DX12 is just newer so may not run as well on older/lower end hardware

My computer just told me that it had a problem, it went to a blue screen that said something about an error, and then it restarted while I was playing the game. The game lagged out heavily before that, and I was using OBS recording software. This just happened twice in a row.

A blue screen is a sign of a big issue with your PC, check your Windows and graphics drivers for updates and go from there

The banned message is when you're trying to rejoin a lobby you got kicked from.

Current matchmaking can attempt to put you into lobbies you've been banned from repeatedly.

First 2 times I just uninstalled from steam, third time I did it using my uninstaller program that checks from remnants and deletes them too. Then I checked the program files to make sure they didn't "exist" on my pc anymore

I have a problem. So I bought ready or not like 2 weeks ago and I was able to play it smoothly for some time. Suddenly, my game stopped working properly and the main issue is;
Whenever I shoot a gun, my FPS goes to 0 for 3 seconds. During those 3 seconds I die, making the game unable to play.
My game ran smoothly on medium graphics before suddenly this happened.

• Low Graphics
• Tried everything, both with and without vsync all the way low graphics

Are you sure it's completely disconnected? Including bluetooth. Stuff like drawing tablets have also caused issues for users

I am not entirely sure how that setting would impact their server, I would imagine based on experience that it would continue to try to install mods when you launched each time until you unsubbed or logged out.

Either way though, it shouldn't cause crashing, but there isn't much I can recommend when it comes to Geforce since it is up to them to maintain their servers

If you are referring to the in-game system. It is peer 2 peer, it will connect you to users based on proximity to you and acceptable ping.

4. Temporarily disable anti-viruses and test if issue persists
5. If all else fails, do a clean reinstall below:
   Uninstall Ready or Not on Steam
   Navigate to Steam > Steamapps > Common > Delete "ReadyorNot"
   Navigate to %appdata% > local (%appdata by default is roaming) > delete "ReadyorNot"

Hello, I am having trouble consistently playing this game. Usually every 30 minutes or so, when I am playing, it will randomly crash. I looked up the crash reports and it gives me a Kernal Event 2 with the code, "xc0000022." Did some research on possible solutions and ran pretty much all of them, including the solutions provided by Tap(NotA)Bot with no luck. In game mod.io mod manager is broken and fails to deploy most mods. It is recommend to download your mods manually from nexusmods or mod.io website. Well the game isn't very optimized mostly in terms of the maps so even with a better system you'd likely experience low fps and lag on those maps but you should be able to run the game fairly well otherwise.

It should appear in-game still, but that specific mod may be a bit old if I am remember correctly. Double check that is the directory that the game is using, if you reinstalled the game previously, it may be in the wrong spot

Map isn't very optimized you'll find similar occurances in other maps as well due to them also being not very optimized. Hopefully the game will be far more optimized in 1.0 it's dropping back down to 60 GB as I hear it so thats a good sign.

Select the third option "Clean Save Data / Mods" when launching the game.

If you do not get the select launch option prompt when launching the game from steam: Right click the game in your steam library - select properties - towards the bottom of general is launch options to the right is a drop down menu select it and select "Ask when starting game" than do as instructed from the beginning of this message.

Please note: In game mod.io is broken and fails to deploy most mods it is recommended to download mods manually through nexusmods or mod.io website. Also make sure you're not downloading any outdated mods.

There shouldn't be that many new mods uploaded in that time frame so I doubt that's accurate. Check the the date if they're uploaded before December of 2022 they're not likely to work.

If they're appearing there than that's not manually downloaded if you're subscribing to the mods even on mod.io website that's automatically downloading to the game you need to install manually and extract with winrar or 7zip and put the mod pak file in your paks folder.

Hello I have a problem with getting Ready or Not to open on Windows 11. I bought the game on steam a few days ago during the sale(Nov 25th).

1. When I boot up the game it gives me an Error window wanting me to install DirectX Runtime.
2. I am then greated by the UE4 Prerequisites.
3. When installing prereqs, I am given a Fatal Error Code of 0x80070643.

I have tried several solutions to remedy the issue but nothing fixes it.
I will include below what I have already tried.

1. System File Checker tool(didn't work)

   ---I will continue attempting this to see what exactly is causing this conflict.
6. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling once to no effect.

I have tried to troubleshoot this for several days and no progress has been made. Any assistance would be welcome. If I'm unable to fix this I plan on refunding the game. It'll say I've been "in game for 46 minutes" but that's from me sitting in the EU4 Fatal Error Code window being open which for some reason counts as me being in the game.
