So, enabling shared precache didn't do much, DX11 still stutters, DX12 drops down to unplayable FPS for 5-6 seconds or sometimes stays there indefinitely.

Would get if if would lag first time, but same lags happen every time i restart the game, basically i need to do whole map over and over again until every possible effect and shader will be rendered in one session to get rid of stutters and heavy frame dips and i have to do this in one session, 'cause nex time i start the game i have to do it all over again

Is anyone else been having bad stuttering problems after the hotfix?

Anyone having any issues recording game with obs? Record goes for some random time around 3-15 minutes, then preview just freezes, and I can't stop recording, only way to do anything with obs would be to close it with task manager. Also OBS may report recording for 20 minutes but actually nothing after preview freezes not being recorded. Like obs did record normaly for 5 minutes, then froze, Game is working OBS is working and reporting that record is going on, but actual file is not being written anymore, so it's not 5 minutes gameplay and else is just static image, it just not being saved anyhow.

Nothing even similar happened in any other game, and i still record other games even more demanding including ue4 titles totaly fine

So I played Ready or Not fine yesterday now Steam is acting weird all day and Nothing fixes it. It will say that Ready or not is patching and then Updates a 5GB update then goes back to patching after the Download is complete then starts downloading the 5GB update again. Anyone know how to fix this

These steps require manual copy paste from where the mods are stored in their folders to the folder where the core game files (overall mod folder) is.

1. Go to the Steam library, make sure RoN is closed

2. Right click RoN, go to manage and click "open local files"

3. Navigate from the folder that opens, to "Steam\Steamapps\Common|Ready or Not\ReadyorNot\Content\Paks"
   (Click "ReadyorNot" then "Content" then "Paks")

4. Navigate to Content\Paks\Mod.io\3791
   (Click "Mod.io" then "3791")

5. This directory will look different based on what mods you installed except for "metadata", ignore that one.

6. Go into each individual folder and hit copy on the pak inside, then return to Steam\Steamapps\common\ready or not\readyornot\content\paks and paste.
   (Backtrack to the paks folder)
   ==Do not cut and paste or it will prompt you to reinstall the mod when launching the game==

7. When done, you may launch the game

This is not required for

• Map mods

DISCLAIMER: Inside of the large paks folder, there are 26 core game files with "windowsnoeditor" in their names. These are core game files, do not delete them.

Launching the game, I go via steam, and click the play button. It asks which DirectX I want to use (i have tried both). It then just comes up with the crash reporter. No windows open/try to load.
No tweaking, just a clean install via steam. Selected drive and let it run.
Troubleshooting wise:
Updates are done via the software
I've created exceptions in the firewall, and even turned it off completely. (Using Windows Def)
Turned off the steam overlay - I heard that can help.
Tried as admin via the file pathway

It seems you're using mods, so you need to disable serverside checksum to be able to queue into only modded lobbies, otherwise you won't find lobbies

Try the following steps

2. If you have any mods, remove them by unsubbing from the mod ( or just manually delete the mod fromC:\Users\Public\mod.io\3791\mods) and verify the game files (delete the .pak folder if necessary)
3. Update your drivers and windows (even to optional build, or even manual install)
4. Temporarily disable anti-viruses and test if issue persists
5. If all else fails, do a clean reinstall below:
   Uninstall Ready or Not on Steam
   Navigate to Steam > Steamapps > Common > Delete "ReadyorNot"
   Navigate to %appdata% > local (%appdata by default is roaming) > delete "ReadyorNot"
   Reinstall the game via Steam

i installed it twice, first time installing it, i had no issues

deleted it then quit for an amount of time, and last night I installed it

I disabled all my anti viruses, added the game to firewall and enabled it, changed steam username, restarted my connection, restarted PC

Make sure your Steam is up to date as well as your windows, check windows defender, make sure you are set as online on Steam, try launching the game as admin, make sure you play the game through the library, and try launching Steam as an admin

Besides that, I could imagine there being an issue with your ISP or region, but I don't have a set list and I haven't heard of many issues like that currently

Theres a bunch of mods I cant figure out how to install

they arent paks its just stuff I had gotten ages ago

Launch the game through Steam and hit "Clear save/mods" when prompted to pick a DX version

But you will lose all your saves like weapon loadouts, map ranks, etc

and when I press O my gun Cants and my screen becomes darker

Cause the game is marking you as unmodded, so it's gotten rid of everything in the proper sections, but I don't think it would detect Reshade

Check where you had Reshade installed, I forgot where it goes since I haven't used it since December

If its there, try removing it and see if that fixes the issue

Yes, but I think there's also a reshade .exe somewhere, I would check the website to see what steps you did to install it
