I can't launch RoN, it just freezes on a black screen after the splash screens
I've:

ran it as admin (both in DX11 and DX12)
tried to run it with both antivirus and firewall off to no avail
verified game files
checked that both MS Visual C++ Redistributables and DirectX were up to date
checked GPU and OS Updates
Disabled Discord, Steam and GeForce overlays
ran it in windowed mode
Disabled fullscreen optimizations
performed a clean reinstall of the game
None of these fixes worked, could anyone help me?

I already did all the steps, they were listed somewhere else in the steam discussions board. I already checked for any updates as I could both for W10 and GeForce Drivers and I have restarted my device multiple times already.

If you've gone over the basics like firewall/anti-virus exceptions, verifying your files, making sure you're online via Steam, restarting Steam, etc., then I can only encourage more experimentation and double check everything. I'm not aware of any regions specifically having issues currently

Hi, after installing the game on steam, the download concludes with an error message in the steam library: "update files corrupted". The problem doesn't occur when installing or updating other games from steam. I tried to solve the problem by following the procedures suggested by steam forum (repairing the library folder, checking for app files integrity, clearing the download cache, uninstalling steam and the game, etc..). Nothing seems to solve the problem. When manually checking in the standard directory in the steam " commons" folder, the Ready or Not subfolder is empty. In the "downloading" steam folder, the ready or not folder structure is created but shows 0 bytes, and its subfolders, although created, are empty as well.

Hey, I just bought the game and I have audio issues. I can hear UI clicks and sounds, sounds when opening game and menu sounds, but I can't hear any actual game audio for anything outside of menus.

I installed it this week, it worked fine since tuesday, but last night and today I got 3 blue screens in total, besides a few errors from the game itself saying it encountered an error generating a texture.

I have an issue accessing mod manager menu - to be precise, I can't open it at all, only getting "an error occured making a HTTP request" message.

I've tried all the usual steps, that is validating the game files - no need to delete mods (as obviously I don't have any) or update drivers (latest). What I found is that I have similiar error with another game that has Mod.io integration - Deep Rock Galactic, difference being in DRG I'm forever stuck on "fetching privacy policy" screen.

On DRG forums people wrote that deleting Mod.io folders from C:\Users\Public and C:\Users*my username* can help when dealing with mod download problems. I tried that, but it was of no help either.

I'm having issues with blackscreen crashes, running both in DirectX 11 and 12, I've updated my graphics drivers and DirectX as well as verified the files of the game. Anybody else noticed higher thermals and less FPS since the last update? I went from steady thermals in the low to mid 60s to now high 60s into the mid 70s and sometimes getting up over 75 during loading screens. I'm here for a problem for my friend
So I just got him the game yesterday.
And his game will freeze or crash his windows. Then he has to hold down the power button for 15s to hard reboot his system.
It happens when he is loading into or out from the mission. If it doesn't happen during loading in, then it will happen loading out from the mission.
He has tried to use dx 11/12, and update all the drivers, reinstall the game, graphic drivers...etc but non of them fix the problem.
The only thing we haven't try is reinstall the window, but all others work fine in his pc, so it just sounds this game problem.
He is pc is power af, so it is not hardware performance issue.
Any suggestions please?

I’m actually having this issue too if I try to join or invite someone from anywhere other than a fresh load in straight to play with friends.

If we both just go straight into play with friends it seems to work- you need to be mindful of turning that server check.sum off so it doesn’t kick you for having different mods but… yeah it’s really frustrating.

3. Update your drivers and windows (even to optional build, or even manual install)

5. If all else fails, do a clean reinstall below:
   Uninstall Ready or Not on Steam
   Navigate to Steam > Steamapps > Common > Delete "ReadyorNot"
   Navigate to %appdata% > local (%appdata by default is roaming) > delete "ReadyorNot"
   Reinstall the game via Steam

I would have to say to disable your overlays like Geforce, Discord, etc., try restarting the game and play with your screen setting, ensure that your mouse is plugged in/up to date

How do i fix this

Games keep crashing, I’ve tried verifying the files, uninstall and reinstall, delete appdata folders but nothing’s working right now. What should I do? Thank you in advance!

I believe the black pixels is tied to shotguns currently
