4. If all else fails, do a clean reinstall below:

   Navigate to %appdata% > local (%appdata by default is roaming) > delete "ReadyorNot"
   Reinstall the game via Steam

Hi, I'm having framerate issues and was wondering if anyone could give any information as to what else I can do to resolve this. I've tried some of the suggestions I saw earlier in this channel, but still get drops down to 15 FPS.

I am benchmarking the game on Valley of the Dolls, let me know if I should test on a different map.

I'm running:

AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
RTX 2060
32 GB RAM
Game is running off an SSD. Samsung EVO 870 if that matters.

So far, I've set the following:

Game is running on DX11
Framerate is capped to 60
Shadow Quality is turned down to medium
Verified game files
DLSS is enabled
Reflex is Enabled+Boost
As a sanity check, I went over Nvidia 3D settings and it's set to Prefer Maximum Performance

I'm not sure what else it could be. My hardware is a bit old now but shouldn't be tanking FPS. Let me know, thanks!

I don't think it made much of a difference. I did end up combing through the nvidia 3d settings one more time and cutting down on a few more options. While Valley of the Dolls ran well for the top floor, FPS drops began happening on the 2nd and 3rd floors once I entered the outside area (the farthest drop I noticed was 20, it mostly stayed at 40). After maybe 5-10 seconds of the drop things began evening out.

I decided to benchmark the gas station map out of curiousity, and ended up with a overall very smooth experience. I'm pretty convinced now it was whatever 3d settings I had on earlier

Very unspecific, one thing you can try is, given it's an Nvidia card, set the "Power Management Mode" in the NVIDIA Control panel to "Prefer maximum performance". Wild guess but very little info. Another thing you could try is DirectX11 or DirectX12, change to whatever you haven't tried yet.

I'm not familiar with Vortex, but I'd assume you would have to readd them using Vortex. External modding can be very unforgiving

I've tried everything @rustic laurel It's so infrequent, yet as soon as the host is nearby then a crash can occur. I can't say for certain this instability is a result of my PC components not being able to handle my mod or certain events in Ready or Not lol

4. You will find another folder with a 4 digit ID, if you have multiple games using Mod.io, there may be multiple.

5. Navigate through the 4 digit ID folder and locate "user.json"

6. Rename "user.json" to "user.json.BAK"

7. Restart Ready or Not

i've only been playing multiplayer so far and seems like my frame drops are tied to a high latency message

i would be fine with small frame drops but it seems consistent in the frame drops so i'm worried somethings up
