The game uses peer 2 peer through Steam, there aren't dedicated servers, which is why you rubber banding as the host confuses me

Well, it was originally running a lot easier back when it first came out. But they've brought so much life and changes to some of the levels that it's probably higher now.

I believe that means you're running out of vram while you play, try lowering the graphics in-game, close unnecessary apps while you play, and limit your FPS to 60 or around that using third party software or in-game

Brows the game files. For me ReadyOrNot.exe was 0 bytes. Verified the game files and steam found that 26 failed to verify. Files were re-acquired automatically. ReadyOrNot.exe was now ~235kb and the game launces fine.

hi all. I just got the game and first impression is great but after a few minutes of play, I am losing the ability to interact with doors, suspects, hostages etc. Basically the little menu for the specific action (like open door, peek etc) they simply do not show

any ideas how to fix this?

@stiff harbor it happens in game sometimes doors and things will get stuck. If it happens when trying to secure suspects and things of that nature it is a connectivity thing with either the host or your internet

i will say this, the most annoying bug i've come across in this game thus far is the one where the SWAT AI can't put someone in zip ties if they're in a doorway. it's happened a couple of times where the AI will get stuck, completely idle while standing next to a person with cable ties in their hand but doing nothing.

Hey, not sure if this is the right channel for this but is there any way I can speed up fps? It used to be fine and hover around 30 but recently it has slowed down and I've been having my game freeze sometimes when I encounter suspects

If you haven't fixed already I was having a somewhat similar problem. audio going in and out. After the last windows update Realtek audio just decided to reinstall itself and it was dicking up all my games, especially RoN. go to device manager, click the drop down arrow on "sound, video and game controllers" and see if realtek audio is there if it is uninstall it and try your game. may have to restart after you uninstall realtek audio
