Physical takedowns
Would love to see some form of physical takedown for non compliant civs/suspects. Make it take a bit longer than a regular cuffing, just having an option to tackle someone whos not surrendering but also not actively engaging you would be great

It would be great if we could turn our head to look around while arresting a suspect or a civilian.
I mean this already exist if you use freelook while arresting but it could be improved as you can't really see much around you when looking plus the game forces your head to be tilted downwards while arresting so that also limits how much you can actually see while doing so.

In the PD/HQ area in the briefing room with the therapist- sometimes there is a Sgt that sits with him as he says something like " I only joined the force a year ago." A sergeant would have like 5-7+ years on, and not be a year or less officer. The voice line needs to be changed to say 10 years, or the stripes taken off of the sleeve of the officer. Officers have a 1 year-18 month probationary/FTO period and typically can't go other assignments until about 2 years on, to make sure that they have a solid amount of training and experience with the basics. I understand it's "justa game," but would like to see some realism as everything else seems to be going for.

TOC at the beginning of each mission kinda kills immersion with generic voice lines, sometimes not even fitting the specific scenario of the map, only it's mode (barricaded e.g., don't tell me 'negotiations have broken down' when I load up Port). SWAT4 had this perfect with text and (female!) audio giving specific location and mission type like special warrant service. Can we have this plsss
It would be great if suspects and civilians would drop to their knees from a distance when hearing us yell for compliance. This would prevent my squad from yelling at them for an entire minute. Also, adding varied dialogue would be nice, like if a suspect is slowly dropping their gun, my SWAT AI could say something like, 'Don't you dare raise that gun.'

Hi all, there is a way to modify the light and shade changes in the environment. For example, when you move quickly from a dark environment to a bright environment, your eyes will be dazzled because you don't have enough time to adjust. If you pass slowly, your eyes will have plenty of time to adjust without causing a dizzying situation. I'm sure this little detail can deter some players who like the Russian style.
It would be great to have a helicopter introduction, like in the Dark Water mission, for some maps. For example, starting on the roof in Sins of the Father.
Coming back after long break darkwaters is great although going through base RoN and 10mm MP5 suspects are still wallbanging over 1ft of concrete and killing swats, not sure if is intended behavior or not, 10mm is spicey but seems like a bit much

Would be nice to have a feature where you can equip gas mask, anti flash goggles, ballistic face shield, etc. BUT in the cosmetics menu choose for them to not be visible. They can really ruin the vibe you're looking for cosmetically with your character and can also obviously clip through modded cosmetics
Please optimize the game for all DLC maps. The FPS drops are extremely severe and make gameplay frustrating. This issue significantly impacts the experience.

I think a mall or a map set in a shopping area would be cool for D-platoon to take. It can be a active shooting like in elephant and such so officers have to be quick to stop the threat.

Breaker Boxes on some maps would be nice for NVG enjoyers to claim the night, lower enemy reaction times unless visible laser or flashlight is on.
Changes to "Yell for Compliance" and its radius would be nice too, I feel as if the entire map is alerted to my presence when pressing F.
Ultimately a way of quietly arresting subjects and suspects would be sweet for non-compliance, even if a majority of subjects surrendered rather than making a hike from one end of the map to the other would be sweet.

One must not dismiss this completely as it’s already somewhat tested in the Mirage At Sea mission. You can already turn on and off the emergency system on the ship in the engine room.

We NEED a sledgehammer as another thing we can use for opening doors someone might say that its pointless because we already have the battlering ram and the breaching shotgun buut i feel like the thing the hammer would give you on top is that u can use it from safety ( when youre standing next to the door ) i know that thats how the shotty works but this doesnt have ammo and could for example not destroy the door only open it ooor it could be for opening dobble doors and i think it should be made to be more flexible for sleek and quick opening

imagine if there would be like cops standing in front of some crime scene im not saying every crime scene but just have cops standing in front of the crack house in cover behind their cruiser i feel like that would add so much more to it like for example if you send a suspect to the exit the police would escort him to the car or somewhere like that and they could provide cover fire if an enemy shows up and maybe even the possibility to look at their bodycam like u can look at the camera from the heli in darkwaters i feel like this could add SO MUCH for immersion because SWAT team is not going to be the first responce on crimes scene like that ( example the first mission on the gas station )
Core AI Improvements:
AI teammates should prioritize self-preservation, dynamically seeking cover when taking fire. They shouldn't be bullet sponges. When heavily suppressed, they should break formation and abort orders, exhibiting a sense of fear. This adds crucial realism – they should fear death.
Teammates need improved situational awareness. They shouldn't stare into empty rooms. They should utilize cover effectively, like backing against walls, and be generally more cautious.
If I occupy a teammate's spot, they should communicate this and reposition themselves. This dynamic interaction makes the team feel more alive.
While player commands are essential, the AI shouldn't be completely reliant on them. They should exhibit autonomy, reacting to immediate threats without constant micro-management.
Command System Enhancements:
The command system should be more intuitive. Commands like "breach" should default to the nearest relevant object (door, corner, etc.) or the object in the player's view, avoiding frustratingly precise targeting.
Teammates should identify and communicate about specific objects, like "Suspect behind the freezer."
A voice command system using a microphone would drastically improve this.
Smarter TEAM AI should balance difficulty.
Can we get a backup/ ankle gun as a tactical tool? 22lr is the only cartridge missing from the game so this could be a cool way to introduce it. Maybe add 2 backup variants - 22lr n 9mm or something else (A pistol + revolver). Would make a very handy tool indeed imo.
I would love to see the police M-16/AR-10 in the game! its on that armory wall in the shooting range and honestly as notoriously unreliable as it was a lightweight aluminum control style rifle throughout the game would be really cool to see! (Thank you for reading)

Neon Club mission you shouldn't really be penalized for shooting a terrorist for not complying. In my case I gave him an order to give up several times but he started backing up into cover, probably to get into a defensible position to shoot at me. Warning shot...nothing. So I shot him into the plate carrier, still wouldn't comply and got -50 points. He then tried to move away into cover and had to shot him for another -100. This is not really a scenario where would any police force ask that nicely. There would be maybe one warning and then they would drop him no questions asked. It's silly being penalized for trying to give him like 4 options to give up.

Neon Club ROE is shoot on sight, could be a bug on your side or your weapon could be piercing and hitting civilians
So far all missions I played required me to not shoot enemies. That includes the hotel mission before Neon club. In Neon club I was specifically told to not break ROE. It's probably some bug then, because there was a solid wall in the background.
I get why meth lab civvies or neon civvies are unresponsive like they're on drugs and being shot at I'd be clamming up and running away too but why aren't other missions civvies a bit smarter like if I work in a post office where a gang shooting is happening in the other room I'm not gonna stand in a corner and stare at the swat team going "FUCK YOU!" as they tell me to put my hands up. It's 5 highly trained operatives wearing vests that say "POLICE" in big ass letters shoving automatic rifles in my face the first thing I'm doing is getting on my knees and the second thing I'm doing is pissing my pants in fear. I get that the LSPD has a trash reputation and rightfully so but no amount of hatred for the police force would influence my decision making in that situation

We should be able to have the gas mask as a tool option, that way we dont have to wear it and when we deploy gas we can put it on, and if we dont then we go unconscious.
Not a NEEDED feature, but could be a good one (IMO). Regardless if you're on ironman mode or not for commander mode, there should be a "department reputation" level, make it so that if you do any corrupt actions like abusing civs or unauthorized use of force or just straight up killing civs it goes down and you can get fired or arrested if it gets too low. One thing you can add to make it more interesting is the lower your reputation is, the harder it is for your SWAT AI to follow instructions under your command or trust your judgement.
Can the sorry limp wrist, soyboy pistol whip please be replaced w/ a takedown animation instead if we hold melee button or smth? I think doing this while running should enable a tackle as well. Would come in clutch if a civvy stands between u and a suspect. Mr president, get tf down kinda moment.

Hello, I would like to inform you about a certain flaw in the single player mode in the Ready or not game. If you give the command to the soldiers to "open, use a grenade launcher, clean up," then the fighters after the shot begin to enter the room before the grenade detonates. Also, squad members sometimes fire a grenade launcher so that the projectile ricochets back to the doorway. Thanks for your attention!
I also want to suggest adding the command "pass the grenade to the commander" for the squad members, since in single player mode the player can throw the grenade along the desired trajectory.

Please make the AI act more human in terms of shooting and running away. It's a good start with them closing and locking doors, running, hiding and taking cover, but I feel like once that's over they just start shooting and don't stop. I think a suspect shooting a full mag of their weapon at a fully kitted SWAT officer before running away and shooting another mag doesn't really feel "human". The morale system barely affects how they work, and I feel like a suspect shooting a few times, running away, and being more panicked because cops are there would make it seem more "human".
All in All, IRL a LOT of people are scared shitless of cops, and try to act like they aren't scared until they're confronted. When I was a kid, even though I did nothing wrong being around a cop all the time made me feel nervous. The amount of times criminals have gone into panic and made the wrong move was because of how scared they were. Most of the suspects in this game seem like they're READY to kill cops, just waiting for you to step inside.
^ After just replaying zero hour I must say the AI isnt that bad in terms of acting human, but I still think it needs more tweaks

Also, with the new DLC we got, the oil platform has great new rain drips effects on your screen, which stop when you are indoors. Should this same type of effect be applied to the Pork Hokan mission? It feels strange how that one is in the rain with no effects, almost like playing a different game.

Any chance to get a separated key bind for the taser? all the other equipment have separate key binds so its kinda odd it dosnt have it too. Also the taser is on of the things you need to be able to pull out quick, its really annoying trying to pull it out and have to cycle between wedges and pepper spray first. its gotten me killed a fair few times.

Add a way to cancel shotgun reloading regardless of what the shotgun reloading setting is set to. When I'm bleeding out and I have to reload or I'll die from being rushed, I only need like two shells but I get stuck in the reloading animation and cant hold f to stop bleeding

I like the lock pick gun, but the interface for it is very unpleasant
- Try before you pry
- Pixel-hunt for the arbitrary part of the door that corresponds to the 'Lockpick' interaction hotpoint. Sometimes it lines up with the location of the lock on the visual model, sometimes it doesn't. It's not consistent with that, and it's not consistent relative to the whole door model in the way open door (middle of the top half, always), kick door (middle of the bottom half, always), breaching shotgun (hinge edge of the door, always), peek door (latch edge in the middle, always), and snake cam (bottom edge of the door, always) are.
- Press F to switch to pick gun
- Hope you didn't move! Pixel hunt for the hotpoint again
- Hold Maus1
This could be mitigated somewhat by adding a reticle to the lock pick gun like the shout menu has, or just being consistent with where it's placed either always on the lock, or always in the same place relative to the door as a whole (just above the peek door hotpoint maybe?).
That thing that would be really slick though is once you try the door and find out it's locked, just replace the peek door hotpoint with the pick lock hotpoint.
And if it's supposed to be fiddley and inconsistent, make it fiddley and inconsistent in a way that looks intentional.
Change the loading screen from the bearcat to the new helicopter loading from the Dark Waters DLC for the rooftop spawn for "Sins of the Father" map, and any other base game maps that could use the new loadings screens added.
i can agree with the finding of the lock but not anything else when i find the door is locked i press 4 and get my gun and unlock the door reletively easilt besides for finding the lock
I'm not entirely sure you understood what I was saying. Finding the lock was like my entire complaint.

Remember Toggle Canted Sight Setting Per Weapon
Using Canted sight with a primary weapon is good, but just because I'm using it with that weapon doesn't mean that it's helpful when I switch to my pistol.
Please have the game remember what type of sight I'm using on a weapon by weapon basis.
Dev, you should put a VR option for ready or not
We have UEVR mod and with any luck we'll get a more in depth VR mod somewhere down the line but I highly doubt the Devs have any plans to do something like that especially not any time soon.

Well, everyone that wants to mod has to learn how to. It's not like there are people out there that just knew how to install mods when they first started. Some people may have familiarity with it from modding other games, but everyone who mods their games has to have learned how to do it at some point.
Besides, if you can deal with VR set up on a PC you can deal with learning how to mod a game it's far easier.
I do get the want for simplicity of just launching into a VR mode rather than going through the trouble of setting up a VR mod but VR is still a very niche platform and there are tons of games people want to see made into VR officially unfortunately the vast majority of them are lucky if they even get a VR mod.

Hey where can we report things we noticed? I was waiting for this controller support cause I'm a lazy man.
Anyways the equipment selection for things like Grenade mention to hold "LB" and select with "R" joystick.
I noticed that "R" joystick continues to aim, but I was able to select with instead with "L" joystick.
Plus: In Training it mentions that selecting equipment and releasing "LB" should auto equip it, that wasn't the case but it does register it to "LB" for quick equip.

I'm intrigued by how the ammo/gear slots were decided. I've been getting a lot of time in full kit IRL and it seems really strange that single stack magazines for a striker fired pistol platform or taser cartridges take up the same slot space as rifle mags, or even P90 mags. A modular area to stack pouches on chest rigs, with different area, movement and deployment speed based on location on the rig would be very, very interesting.
it was designed with a balancing and gameplay perspective rather then a realism perspective iirc
AI needs to get fixed or changed, the reaction time is 0.200 ms which is impossible for me to react under that time. As soon as it sees just starts shooting like crazy and i haven't seen they reload or something it's like trying to play against a minigun with superhuman reaction.

FULLSCREEN AND RESOLUTION SLIDER AREN'T WORKING PROPERLY.
Hello I am trying to run the game in 21:9 3440x1440 in exclusive fullscreen. Previously it worked, but now if I try to run the game in Exclusive fullscreen, it only shows a part of the game, like it doesn't fit the one time and the other time it only shows what seems to be a 2560x1440 resolution, where the game is shown but also my desktop is visible.
also, the resolution slider doesn't work, it doesn't show any resolutions anymore, I can only slide it to minimum or to maximum with no indication of what I am actually setting the resolution to....
The only way I can run the game is in windowed fullscreen, then it works, but I still cannot change the resolution ingame via the in-game slider.
does anyone know what I could try?

Congrats everyone, console and PC players, and I hope that porting process gonna be not that hard, but just a few questions about console versions of developers or community managers or current controller players, some of which might be really important for console players:
FoV slider? (It's pretty common feature for consoles nowadays, but still)
Any plans for 120Hz output/unlock or 120 fps mode? (Better both or at least first option, if only one is possible, just for future console hardware and those, who appreciate higher framerate, pretty please)
What about controller options? Both remapping and aim settings (different curve aim options or customization? Gyroaim support on Dualsence?)
For developers: Please, if that options and features aren't planned, at least try to consider their implementation
I play RoN with a controller and my biggest question is if they're gonna fix gyro aiming. it has too much smoothing and the sensitivity slider on it isn't like any other. I'd very much like if they could make the sens slider be based on the real life degrees to game camera degrees ratio you want isntead of some arbitrary weirdness. Something that could also be improved is allowing for a configurable precision speed, acceleration, flick stick, and also a gyro mute and vertical camera reset button. Fortnite, which also runs on UE5, did all of these(except for precision speed) so i'd be very happy if VOID did anything at all to help controller support before release

I keep encountering an annoying scenario where the last enemy will inexplicably be roaming the other side of the map counter the direction I'm walking, so it takes me an extra 5-10 minutes to finish a run.
In some other games I've played, a single remaining enemy will become more aggressive or make a noise cue to prevent this from happening.
I also spent 20 minutes walking around Valley of the Dolls at the end of an S rank run before realizing I forgot to check the bathroom that one girl hides in at the entrance of the level.
Search and secure is not as useful as I think it should be, personally.

AI overhall: Too often, I throw a grenade thinking the area is clear, only to get hit with a friendly fire penalty—even when my whole squad is behind me and out of the radius of the bang make it so the ai are actually smart enough to see a nade and move out the way. There are also times I give a command to clear a room, and one of my team members bizarrely walks backwards straight into enemy fire and obviously dies.
The enemy AI isn’t much better. The game clearly discourages shooting anyone with a gun on sight, but when I try to follow protocol and shout for compliance, one of two frustrating things happens: either the suspect puts their hands up but refuses to get on their knees (which slows everything down), or they pull a gun and shoot me faster than I can react.
Overall, both friendly and enemy AI need serious attention if the game is going to reward tactical play instead of punishing it. either remove the unauthorised force for shooting people with guns or get better ai you cant do both. I also shouldnt be penalized for shooting a target whose actively firing at me like wtf ik my mission is to arrest them yes but that isnt realistic?
I always shoot when they start pointing guns at me, I know my priorities :).

As a big player of Ready or Not since its Alpha release, I wanted to provide some feedback, even though I should have done so a long time ago.
For me, there are two major changes that need to be made to make the game near-perfect, and they concern the friendly AI. First, it should be prohibited from taking initiatives at times, such as shooting, securing evidence, or handcuffing a suspect. Too often, I've ruined an intervention because one of the AIs decided to come out of cover to handcuff a suspect and died under enemy fire. The second change would be based on formation so that units have a place in the line and maintain it, so that the shield is always first, for example.
But the game remains excellent and has one of the best antagonistic AIs I've faced. Respect to you.
Makes no sense to remove the magazine when it’s the reason why the gun was added in the first place
The shotgun was already in the pre-release versions of the game without the magazine, then it was removed, and now it's back with the magazine. I just ask for an option to select the weapon without the magazine, like a standard shotgun.

Big fan of the game, i wanted to give my feedback here, this is the most embarrassing thing i've encountered in my RON experience :
Globally, weapons are too much far from the camera (i'm on a wide screen, but my friends have the same feeling), and if i know, there is nothing i can do except changing the FOV in the settings, but even in 80, the whole view seems to be too much zoomed and weapon is still too far from camera... and btw the reticle of the EXPS is too small, i own a real one EXPS, the reticle is much bigger inside the sight view.
It ruins the gaming experience a bit, i'm systematically forced to look more around the sight than inside it when aiming if I want to see what's going.
We are several gamers in this same filling.

I would love there to be an acog as a choice for a scope
I would love to see a flashlight with a strobe setting that has a blinding effect on enemies, reducing the accuracy of inbound fire and impacting morale. Many common high end tactical weaponlights have this feature baked in.
Many players complain that enemies don't surrender fast enough when you're aiming and shouting, this addition could solve those complaints.
Currently, aiming while the player's NODS is deployed somehow pulls a low profile optic into perfect positioning as if the NODS doesn't exist. Use of IR lasers could be encouraged by adding a pointer fire posture that tilts the weapon and zooms in when the ADS key bind is pressed while NODS is deployed.
Most optics are too blurry to use with nods anyway, so you're still pushed to using clearer optics or the ADS canting.
As for the strobelight, it's probably gonna be insanely annoying for such a small niche of use

im mostly thinking with a group of friends that exceed the maximum size of a default lobby; that's what im currently doing weekly with a group of fellas (its damn fun, we are currently 6/10 alive after finishing buy cheap buy twice)

While you are in the lobby of the person you want to be prevented from joining again, pause the game and in the menu will be lobby manager and in there you can block that person and it should prevent you from joining them again.
Do note the specific person you're talking about uses multiple alt accounts so you will likely end up in more of their lobbies even if you've blocked them already since it's another account just block them again every time that happens.

I would love to see unarmored suspects go down to the floor or grasp where they were shot after one shot so basically one shot takes them down if shot in torso and head occasionally it takes two shots to take them down where the first shot on wounded them. Leg shots work well one thing for arm shots if you hit the arm which they have a weapon in they drop the gun - This may be already implemented

I think it would be nice to have gameplay features like being able to shoot lights with a gun or create blackouts inside and outside of buildings by hitting a nearby power cutoff. Being able to actively use night vision would make it even more immersive. You could also add an effect where the morale of suspects decreases when the surroundings become completely dark.

For example: In Sins Of The Father some of the some hostages say that the security gaurds began shooting at each other, I think npcs with weapons but are innocent would be a good thing for difficulty and the mentality of not shooting on sight, Imagine shooting somebody in the dark because you saw them holding a weapon only to figure out it was an innocent security gaurd.

In real life, a suspect or person tased will instantly lock the person up and make them drop or slowly fall to the ground. An effect on the movement of a double taser electric shock when discharging a full cartridge into a suspect could and would be amazing.
The taser effect currently when a suspect is tazed is not as realistic as I think the game should be. Watching a suspect with a taser and having the cartridges inside the suspect would look scary but look realistic.
If this is in the future, that's an amazing thing to get.

When a suspect surrenders (especially after being flashed or intimidated), they currently go to their knees with hands up. However, in real-life tactics, officers often order suspects to lie prone (on the ground) before making an arrest.

✅ Prevents sudden actions from kneeling suspects
✅ Adds to tactical flow and tension
Would love to see a command (or automatic behavior) to tell surrendered suspects: “Get on the ground!” before cuffing. Could even allow rare non-compliance to add intensity.

[SWAT AI] Flow through double doors
SWAT AI tends to flow much slower through double doors than single doors. Pairs of officers should be moving to cross or button-hook pretty much simultaneously, especially with the increased movement area of double doors. What we see instead is that an officer will make entry, and the next officer will wait until the first officer is all the way through the door before they start to move. Flow into large rooms would be faster and less risky if each pair were moving in sync rather than sequentially.
Would you be willing to patch your gun later to allow for both a laser attachment and a tactical light attachment?
Already confirmed to happen, just was delayed with dark waters.
Arsenal Suggestion - 7.62x39mm Weapons
After the recent news of the TPL Pepperball pistol being announced following my suggestion and others’ for it, I’d like to first send you my greatest “thank you” for listening to our collective contribution. Following some survey conducted, there was a need in 7.62x39mm caliber weapons and (iirc) large caliber weapons. So I’m back here with two weapons to help fill those needs.
•SIG SG556R: A twist on the highly collectible SG550, the SIG556R was a US commercially available version that combines the usual SG550 action with the Russian cartridge fed via AK magazines. Besides that, this modern version also comes with hefty aftermarket support with quad rail handguards and AR buffer tube adaptors available. However, barrel length is 16 inches, meaning that some proper care is required while maneuvering around tight spaces. Full auto should be capable as it’s an LE firearm.
•CMMG Dissent MK47: Coming from the same manufacturer as the Tarkov sweat cannon, its younger brother is here in this suggestion list. With a forward charging handle similar to the ACR, it should make reloads a little bit faster than the Mutant. Comes with a 12.5” barrel
So that’s it, hopefully these weapons are passed for consideration. Thank you again for implementing the TPL Pepperball pistol.
The gyro aim implementation is really bad currently. It has no flick stick, not enough settings(precision speed and a ratcheting button), the sensitivity slider isn’t measured in Real World Sensitivity(ratio of degrees IRL to degrees in game) and the whole implementation seems to act more like stick input rather than mouse input like Fortnite or THE FINALS does it, both of which run on UE, like RoN. This leads controller players into a conundrum where they either sacrifice analog movement(in a game where movement accel on digital keys really doesn’t work well converted to a stick) for good gyro and flick stick through steam input or sacrifice aiming for analog movement which works so much better in RoN. It also has too much smoothing so your movements won’t take your view to where you’d expect them(your aim will be off). A game that also has these issues is Splatoon(any game in the series). It’s way too smoothed with a very high deadzone and has accel you can’t turn off PLUS no way to turn it off temporarily to readjust.. How could this be fixed? Make it act closer to a mouse primarily. Make the sensitivity sliders make sense, let players use a button to turn gyro on/off/toggle gyro, add flick stick, give players options like precision speed and deadzone. It would also help to make aim assist automatically turn off when using gyro since most of the time you’d just be fighting the aimbot. Also letting players remap their inputs like on a keyboard and mouse or even swap triggers and bumpers(r1 instead of r2 to shoot, l1 instead of l2 to ADS, you get the point) would help so much.I love this game but the gyro is lacking.(I wrote this on a phone, forgive my terrible organization)

Wouldn't be great to have like a rougelike game mode for RoN?
Imagine you would start a police officer where you would only start with a pistol with limited equipment and you can pick between maps with only one or two civilians / suspects at the start. Then as you are doing more dangerous missions like eliminating active shooters, defusing bombs in a time limit basically doing different missions on different maps with modifiers (door traps can happen, time limit, suspects wearing body armor ect.), you could unlock more equipment, weapons and teammates and you would progress into a proper swat commando.
Like seriously, if you guys have the amount of equipments, maps, suspect and civilian types, assets ect. ect. so why not make a game mode like this that would give so much more content and playtime for the game?
This translation to spanish is so terrible and I have no doubt other languages are the same. I appreciate you guys took the time to add different languages but it's obvious you guys put no effort whatsoever and only passed the words individually through the Google Translate without even bothering to provide the context in the word somehow, because what's this thing?, like you guys used the word "fire" (as in to fire someone from their job) to translate the word "fire" (to shoot a gun), these are two different words in spanish and it's sad and kind of insulting too, like I don't know, give me the files to translate the game myself if you guys can't and I'll do it for free or fix it cause it took me a solid while to realize what it meant. Someone who doesn't speak both languages is gonna be confused. Love this game and probably the translations are the smallest of your problems but I'm sure me and many other friends that speak other languages would be thankful if you fixed it.

I wish the map was more helpful. As immersive as it is to have an accurate map to what officers would have, detailing buildings plans and such, it sucks when you've cleared the map, dealt with the suspects, and need to find the last civilian or last remaining suspect.
Oh, also have you SEEN the narcos map on the tablet??????
It's probably unrealistic to expect this, but a new map system that tells you where you are, and what rooms you haven't entered yet like in Doorkickers 2, would be a great Quality of Life feature
Hi, I’d like to suggest a new gameplay mechanic for Ready or Not.
It would be great to have tactical night operations where the team can quietly approach an electrical panel to disable the building’s lights and power. This would limit enemy visibility while giving the team an advantage using night vision goggles.
Such a feature would add a fresh layer of strategy, emphasizing careful planning and teamwork. I think many players would appreciate the added realism and tactical depth.

I have another suggestion for a Ready or Not DLC — operations at airports and on airplanes. There have already been missions on ships and other water-based locations, so I think it would be great to add something related to the airspace.
Imagine scenarios where you have to rescue hostages, deal with bombs, or face active shooters in various parts of the airport — from terminals and departure halls to baggage areas. There could also be direct actions onboard airplanes, where space is limited and tactics have to be very precise.
Airports are unique locations — with tight corridors and security checkpoints, but also large open areas and many different passageways and rooms, which offer a lot of tactical possibilities. This would require players to work closely together and plan carefully, as every mistake could be costly.
Such a DLC could introduce completely new challenges and change the way missions are approached, bringing fresh experiences for fans of tactical games.

The supporter pack comes with an aeroframe helmet and HPC vest that I wish there were black versions of in the base game. I love the look of the helmet, but not having a black option of it sometimes pushes me away from using it while the rest of my team use black. The vest also, has two configurations, one with a pair of scisors on the front behind a mag pouch with a backpack, and two without the scissors, one with the backpack and one without. The vest could have a version with the scissors behind the mag pouch and without a backpack, aswell as some black variants. So, all in all, I'd like to see

Honestly, I’m with you on this. It’s a weird decision, especially for a game that demands so much precision and control. There are way simpler console games that support mouse and keyboard, so it doesn’t really make sense that Ready or Not doesn’t. At the very least, they could’ve explained why. Even if they’re not planning to add it, some transparency would go a long way. Right now it just feels like they ignored it or don’t see it as important.
Please look at moving to UE 5.6-5.7 when it comes out. It could drastically improve stuttering/performance. Hopefully it will be easier having already moved to 5.4

Hi! I am a big fan on the game. I am wondering if the game developers could come up with a slightly better app icon. I dont want to shit on the person that made it im sure they got better but its no the best compared to other good games like readyornot.
I feel like something like a squad picture would actually soot the game well or the good pic with the ready or not logo at the base.
next I think the game should add a few more AR models. I am aware there are mods and I use a gun mega pack and the models re do all gun models and they look fantastic maybe the game should adopt the models for the base game.
Next I think there should be more School Shooting maps in the game. There sadly has been a major increase in mass shooting like school shooting and I feel like the college campus map is good but there could be more. I have this one high school map that is big and fully done and its amazing with kids running out of the school and some even take knifes and defend themselves (this is not working it just shows they have a knife) which I think is very realistic.
I also think in the customize character tab on the vest with a thing where callsigns or last names go you should be able to make it your own last name or callsign.
Finally there should be a ready or not custom multiplayer server that is pinned at the top of the multiplayer tab that is a big warzone with buildings. (kinda like a bigger version of the Operation Harshdoor Stop maps) and you can respawn after a certain amount of time letting you play as a SWAT member in private multiplayer and solo with AI crew or Military personnel with real players playing on the big Warzone multiplayer gamemode/map.
I have 0 idea if any of this is possible but I think it would be very cool to have these updates into the game.

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well. I am having a blast playing Ready or Not in the past months. My suggestion for emersion and variety of chances to make fan made scenarios when playing Free Play/Practice Mode: the ability to swap characters as your teammates and yourself. What will happen is like in Multi-player mode, there are options to select character other than Judge like the officers in Commander Mode. And include mod support to add characters to your dream team. For example, a mod named Suits and Ties (Secret Service) by mwwreee gives not on players to add the attire worn by the rogue agents, but as well as character models that have the head, skin, and earpiece as the enemy NPCs. As well as including the opportunity to also swap voices like in the Multi-player campaign. This could give players more variety to make their own scenarios either for personal entertainment or making and posting videos online playing their made scenarios. Please, let me know what you think. Thanks for reading!

Gameplay option so when aiming, you will always start point shooting/canted sight and would need to switch to normal sight. When switched to a normal sight, unaiming and reaiming will reset you back to point aiming/canted sight.

Do not crater to censorship.
Do not let weak game consoles hold you back.
Please do not censor the game for PC players just to appease the consoles. I have supported this game for years, I bought the supporter version of the game back in 2021 because ready or not stood up for the kind of game they wanted to make. Team17 and ready or not had a disagreement on the school shooting mission and ready or not stood their ground and refused to censor their vision for their game.
Now in 2025 ready or not is bending the knee to these consoles and censoring their game just to make their game more mainstream. These compromises that they have made affect the atmosphere and story of several of their missions and the removing of the dismemberment takes away something that made the game just that much more immersive.
Do not censor the game, instead stick to your guns and continue making the gritty, dark, realistic game that was advertised originally!
The censorship is not as drastic as people make it out to be and dismemberment/gore is not being removed entirely just the removal of post mortem dismemberment.

They have stated that they have only done the bare minimum to meet the standards of console guidelines and national rating boards.
Most of the other changes being made has also been stated that unless you know what you're looking for you'd likely won't notice it.
The post mortem dismemberment being removed is what i meant when I said dismemberment was being removed. It adds to the immersion to be able to do that and removing it only takes that extra detail away.
When it comes to doing the "bare minimum" it doesn't matter if its small things, those small things add to the atmosphere and story of the missions. Changing something like the child on Twisted Nerve being unconscious/asleep completely changes the story of that child. Instead of her being drugged and convulsing she's just asleep.
The small details are what makes things have their own identity. Changing or removing them affects the overall perception of what was being made.
Extra detail is great and all, but realistically, is a SWAT officer going to sit there and dismember a dead corpse for fun? No, they're not. It doesn’t take away from immersion when the core of the game is about being a SWAT officer. And while something like a child overdosing might seem like it breaks immersion in the sense that, yes, a real cop could walk in on that it doesn’t take away from the story, especially considering that the girl had little to no relevance to the overall plot or lore of that mission.
Look, Ready or Not could look like a potato for all I care, because for me, games are about fun. And when I think of fun, I think about solid gameplay and mechanics. As long as those are solid, I couldn’t care less the lore is still there, the story can still be told, and the game’s identity remains intact. These "extra details" don’t really add much to the overall narrative or worldbuilding. And to those of you making a big deal out of it: if small details or the removal of one minor system are enough to make or break a game for you, then maybe you're playing games for the wrong reasons.
Whenever I first started playing noticing the small things made it seem more real, like I was actually a SWAT commander
I get people that play casually might not understand the importance of details but there are people that like to look deep into the story or setting of a mission. For people like that the changing/removal of those details can drastically alter how they react to that thing. While the child overdosing might not seem like a large part of the missions story; it is. The fact that you walk in and find a child overdosing with a needle next to her shows how depraved and uncaring the suspects are and adds to your desire to bring them to justice. Small things like that invoke an emotional response from the player that pays attention to them.
A swat officer might not sit there and dismember a dead corpse for fun but that doesn't matter. The fact that you can do so despite that is what adds to the experience. Removing this is simply removing something that adds to player freedom. If someone wants to be an insane person and shoot off a dead person's limbs, then allow them to do so.
It's not about just the little details it's about the future legacy of the game
The game was about to push boundaries and give an another take of a dark story
I respect those changes if you wish to do them do them
but keep PC out of this many PC's games that have being censored are still compatible with their uncensored version
Example 1: Left 4 Dead 2 was censored in Germany and it had many gore effects removed and even map changes
but it was still compatible with the uncensored version
Example 2: Counter Strike: Global Offensive was censored in Germany and maps such as the map de_inferno was altered but still compatible with the uncensored version
Example 3: Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was censored in Russia and many soviet symbols and references were removed (Even in the multiplayer maps) but still compatible with the uncensored version
What I'm trying say that I respect your choice
but at least put some effort into the censoring like those games did

PLEASE at least add a ratchet button and working real world sensitivity slider to gyro aiming before starting to prepare the game’s content for consoles. Doing that would make the controller experience so much better than it currently is. WORK ON THINGS THAT AFFECT THE CONSOLE GAMEPLAY EXPERIENCE BEFORE PREPARING THE GAME FOR BEING IN CONSOLE STORES. The gyro aiming just isn’t there yet.

preferably i'd opt for a "uncensored" option or something - hell i'd pay an extra 5 bucks for it just to keep it on PC. But preferably, just let PC players keep their game as is. It's not so bad when you haven't had it, and don't get it either.

Why is it that when I shoot someone in the head with a shotgun, the part that hasn't been damaged is charred? The second image is from The Last of Us Part II, as you can see, the back of the head isn't black. And why the npc's from RoN are BALD when i shoot their heads?😭
I've been waiting for Ready or Not on console for over 3 years. I was excited because this game looked like the most realistic, tactical, and intense shooter available. It was supposed to be raw, immersive, and serious — something different from the usual mainstream shooters.
But now I see that key features are being censored or removed, even though the game is clearly rated 18+. Why? Because of console certification?
That honestly doesn't make any sense.
GTA 5 — a game also rated 18+ — allows:
brutal violence,
graphic gore,
full nudity,
torture scenes,
and unrestricted attacks on civilians and bodies.
And yet, it runs on every console without any of these features removed.
So why is Ready or Not, a game with a much more grounded and professional tone, being forced to cut basic realism like shooting through a body or seeing effects on downed suspects?
You're not protecting anyone by removing realism from a game that's supposed to be realistic. You're just ruining the very thing that made RoN stand out.
Now the gore system — one of the most praised features on PC — is being limited or outright removed on both console and PC, just to make everything "equal."

IMO the censorship of the PC edition in the name of crossplay is bullshit. Fuck crossplay at that point. If I have friends who play it on console I enjoyed the game enough to buy another edition. Fuck I've bought the game 5 times so my friends on PC can play it with me. Fucking with my version of the game and the realism that I drew me in does nothing but stain my opinion of the game.
Been noticing issues with hostage situations, where enemies are not stunned or impacted by smoke or stun grenades, flash bangs. But when the hostage taker does react and shoot the civi in more than one case the shot does register.
May I suggest a toggle for extreme content based on crossplay preference? I’m not malding about this stuff myself but you’re going to alienate a lot of your loyal supporters if you censor it outright

I understand the developer's position regarding the need to capitalize and promote their game to a larger audience (and market). But it's SAD to realize that this comes at the cost of enforcing a restriction on all players, simply because of a dumb rule imposed by a specific platform. And players absolutely WON’T get the same gameplay experience in a game that demands keyboard/mouse precision for accurate shooting and quick reflexes when all the planning falls apart.
We’re talking about purely cosmetic and visual changes—things that could be persistent and conditional through logic so they remain in effect on one platform over another. This ends up being a penalty imposed on everyone because of an audience that isn’t, and will never be, hardcore gamers—because historically and numerically, those gamers are here, in front of their PCs.
I can’t help but wonder if, some time after the console launch, we won’t even see cuts to NPC behavior trees due to complaints about difficulty—just to fully seal this regression being shoved down everyone’s throats, all because of rules that only apply to an insignificant slice of the player base.
I won’t even get into the impact this has on the game’s creative direction—because the moment it bows its head to obey censorship rules, it compromises all future content. From that point on, the game becomes moderated by the invisible hand of the censor, which is already sad enough on its own and leaves an open wound in the original vision of the product.

As a console player and French speaker, I wanted to suggest two important features that would greatly improve immersion for us:
- A GIGN mod with French uniforms, patches, and gear.
- A French voice-over option, or at least French voice commands for more realism.
These additions would bring a more tactical and authentic feel for French-speaking players, especially for those of us who prefer simulation and realism. Right now, being forced to use SWAT elements or English voices can break immersion for French players.
Also, since console modding is very limited, it would be amazing if these features could be officially added or integrated directly into the game for consoles.

As a console player myself I find this update a very interesting shift in the games features. I understand the console has a demanding rule book requiring these changes. I am not upset but given the release of titles like Dead Island 2 or Dead Space 2023. Both games having intense and brutal gore which is my point of interest the rest of the changes I see are completely fine and understandable yet I know you guys hear it enough, please make the gore or extreme content a setting in the game to be toggled on or off because i find the fact that the 2 listed titles I represented have a fair share of gore your game should not have any trouble keeping the regular gore system in while maintaining a M rating, And for the pc side of things i believe you should not bring this feature to pc, because steam and such do not have the rules console has.
Please consider my feedback as just that, feedback I know you have bigger problems to take care of but listen to the people and make changes accordingly. I trust you’ll make the right decision given the current feedback and reviews. Best of luck
Nothing about the gore is being changed, except for the ability to dismember a already dead or incapacitated AI. Dismemberment can still happen while the AI is still alive.
@timid spoke I understand but I just don’t see a plausible reason for the change unless their is a specific rule that is the reason if so please inform me I know the gore itself isn’t being changed but the other ways for it to be used is. Making it a big turning point for many though it isn’t to myself. I don’t think it’s an enormous deal just a weird choice is all I’m saying thank you for the response.

i find this update personally to be a giant chunk of rotting horse shit. There are plenty of games with console releases that have nudity and at least a few that have depictions of violence against children. Like for nudity there's The Witcher, Mass Effect, and Baulders Gate 3 just to name a few. Then Detroit: Become Human has a scene of a child being beaten. You don't actively see any children being hit or harmed in the RoN maps. I feel like the devs are just shilling again like they did with Kotaku

I believe the people complaining about censorship (like me) are the active playerbase of the game. The players that care about the game, the players that love the game for its raw details.
I can remember the first time I opened that container and my reaction of disgust to see they were all fully naked. That gave me the chill. A taste of reality that I had never had before and that SWAT officers have, as VOID says, way too often.
I understand you will just add underwear or something to these nude explicits, but I think it has come clear we don't want that. And yes, you can argue that the lore will still be there and that nothing will change or that we wouldn't have noticed. But you know damn well that is not true.
The real immersion in Twisted Nerve comes when you first see that kid and go "oh, fuck". I dare to say thousands of us were disturbed by it, and that is what we loved the game. And that is just one of many examples.```

So i just I bought the game after viewing Wendigoon's Lore video only to find out that a console release would change the gritty atmosphere of the whole game. I don't understand the demand to censor your product for console markets. Maybe there's a good reason. But I'm at a loss to what that may be. It seems hypocritical to request your studio to censor the content of your game considering other graphic titles in their catalog that show gore, nudity, and suggestive scenes well beyond the grounded, respectful, and professional appearance the game currently exudes.
The game's M rating should suffice. What we are seeing is corporate overreach and censorship. They have deemed this content unfit for certain players. Not the rating board. Not the parents of those players who may be under 18+. Some suits in an office, far detached.
To make a suggestion (admittedly it feels moot at this point), don't censor your games. What's done may be done. But learn from this demonstrable display of poor judgement and never do it again.
My feedback about next Update – Animation and Censorship
The new arrest animation looks good! However, I’d like to suggest an improvement for realism:
When a suspect is arrested and still has a secondary weapon (e.g., a pistol in a holster), maybe you could add a short animation where the officer takes the weapon from the suspect, instead of it just falling off. This would feel more immersive and realistic.
Also, a suggestion regarding censorship:
Would it be possible to split the game into two versions for PC players? One censored version with crossplay support, and one uncensored version without crossplay. This way, everyone could choose their preferred experience without compromises.

It would be awesome to see short cinematic intros before missions—both in SP and MP. Something like a SWAT van arrival, a briefing in the vehicle, or even a quick deployment cutscene. Similar to what Modern Warfare 2019 did with helicopter/van intros. It would really build tension and make each mission feel more immersive.
On censorship: It seems like some elements are being toned down, maybe due to console considerations. A lot of us on PC would really prefer the game stays true to its original, uncensored vision. That raw, realistic tone is a big part of what makes Ready or Not special.
Lastly, a bit more performance optimization would go a long way—especially on heavier maps. Even with strong hardware, there are dips that impact the experience.

Regardless, I do agree that certain aspects of the censorship ( the child to simply be ‘sleeping’ is a bit ridiculous for instance), but I can’t really see any alternative for VOID. It’s either they censor, or it’s not coming onto Console.
I’m still on the stance that we should just see what the changes are when console releases, then complain, rather than complaining before we have any idea how bad the censorship will be

The censorship- i think regardless if it was an oversight or not. To take away something these PC players had for the sake of console is poor judgement.
I mean, you could also disable crossplay if that means the PC players can keep their game as is so to speak. Or even better, you give the PC players the ability to choose for cross play (with censored graphics) or PC-only with uncensored graphics.
Worst Case (wurst cheese) scenario, you could disable crossplay all together, though that ofcourse would suck for VOID as i believe the ability to crossplay is a big item on their list. Which only is fair if you ask me. [using different versions of the game with hardcoded censorship or not]

I just had a weird encounter on the hotel map, ive played it many times but never have I ever seen this before. I taze a suspect, I check my surroundings for less than 10 seconds, then I go forward to handcuf him. Then I see he has gotten up and is holding a civilian on gunpoint, he explaims: "have you ever tried to save anyone?". Naturally, I shot him in the head, but then I got -100 for unauthorised lethal force and I head a voiceline indicating my ai teammates are comming after me.

i know im not the one being asked but them having censored the game when the controls on roller(gyro aiming, flick stick, button remapping) really need to be fixed makes me feel like they have their sights on the wrong target and it really makes me sad to see them fix what isn't broken and leaving the broken things unfixed

Concerns About Content Removal for Console Release

Many of us supported Ready or Not because it dared to portray harsh realities — not just tactical gunfights, but disturbing, real-world situations often ignored by the gaming industry. The recent removal of key narrative elements like the convulsing child in "Twisted Nerve" or the incriminating evidence on the streamer’s computer feels like a step away from that vision. These moments weren’t gratuitous — they served to highlight uncomfortable truths and grounded the game in a world that felt raw, political, and sadly real.
We understand the need to comply with console regulations. But altering the PC version as well — under the justification of "parity" — feels like punishing your most dedicated players for content that was already age-gated and explicitly accepted. PEGI 18 and M ratings are supposed to allow for uncomfortable subject matter, not restrict it further.
Many of us feel this isn’t just a technical or legal issue, but a moral one: it’s about whether you stand by the core identity of your game, or reshape it to fit corporate limits. We’re not asking you to ignore platform realities — only to trust the PC community enough to handle the unfiltered experience we were promised and paid for.
Please consider offering the original content back in some form (optional patch, mod support, DLC), and be honest in future communications. We backed this project not just for the gameplay — but for the vision. Don’t let that vision be compromised.

Mission build-up update:
On choosing a mission from a briefing, be able to conduct the mission, or have the ability to investigate and aid you further. This may include surveillance of suspects, static surveillance of the building, and technological forensics, locating who is there, a position with a moderate amount of precision, and the ability to turn the map into a VR/3D model through the police departments software, to get a better understanding. Then have the ability to have the briefing in the swat van enroute to the location, have a scene of you exiting the swat van and then get to the stage where missions begin, after securing and searching the whole building, you then help with first aid, and transporting suspects or civilians out, and then the ability to interview them.
add an option to enable or disable nudity or gore in the settings. Most games that exist on console that feature gore or nudity, have these settings. Taking away the option to keep the original product is not good.
The only reason why they're not bothering with that option is because it makes no difference towards the rating whether they have it or not according to the people rating it, the content in the game at all is a problem for them for whatever reason.

2 branches would be too much for the dev team the studio is only 50 people large and probably half of those aren't even devs and we already have game breaking bugs that haven't been fixed for months there's critiques that can made to Void about maybe they shouldn't be moving to console due to their inability to fix their PC bugs in a timely manner and maybe should have let the game cook in the oven a bit longer before releasing 1.0 but overall goes to show they couldn't handle 2 separate branches. they don't need to update the uncensored branch, they could just do it like Half-Life does it with their pre-anniversary update branch. Have 2 branches 1 of them is updated while the other is left in it's original state.
Well at the end of the day that would only add convenience to players but it's not exactly hard for players to prevent updates or simply make a copy of the game to do the same and one could simply just use steam console and download from the depot if they happen not to do either of the previously mentioned. Most people would seem to like to keep their uncensored game while getting all the new content that will be added in the update. Besides there will most likely be mods that give us the uncensored content back but Void could get a big W if they did it themselves and do it as a DLC, probably wouldn't work for consoles still but PC players would be happy atleast.
Yeah at the end of the day this is about making everyone happy. I don't like censorship out of principle that they had a vision and have to ruin it to meet the absurd console rules. Like I said before: it makes no sense the child is sleeping when you are blowing up doors with C4 and shooting people left and right, yet normies will still accuse you of just wanting to see the women naked in "Hide and Seek" because they just consoom without any standards.
For the changes made to the game for console I think they were juste a bit too excessive or not integrated into the game tastefully like there isn’t an in between sometimes like for example for the cargo full of women it’s either they’re naked or with underwear but if the devs gave them rags or just a dirty oversized shirt it would show how little the criminals care about them whereas with how it is now it’s almost like they give a single care about them and it minimizes the gravity of the situation and another example , for the 23 megabits a second level if they had removed some pictures and kept the green screen ones it would at least show what they were doing in the servers
For the rest of the censoring I think instead of having the little girl just sleeping rather than convulsing they could make her be curled up and crying it would censor a bit but still show how she was mistreated,
And then for the cop I don’t think there is a solution that would satisfy everyone and I think even in the censored version he is still tortured enough to be impactful

to any void interactive staff who see this i have an idea for an update but i don't know how well this will work out and that but i would love to see you try and implement vr support to the game as it can bring a hole new level of realism to a game that is very realistic

how about a lobby/server browser instead of a just "join" friends/random button, i mean that system is kinda ass especially in a game with x mod variations, checksums, tons of afk lobby players, and that apparently the game doesn't check lobby compatibility beforehand

I kinda want (later in the game) a game mode that sort of like a crowd control. Say there is a protest, and you and a lot of teammates or AI have to defuse the situation by detaining or push angry protesters back with riot shields. But idk, just like a game mode like that would be cool.
Development team. Please read this. The censorship problem could be easily avoided if you just do something that the game Rust did. You add a setting for PC players that can disable the censorship but for console players, they don't have the setting. Rust gets no complaints about this way of handling it so please just add it, I mean I think it's good and probably so does the community.
The only way this works is if both versions include the censorship toggle. Otherwise, they’d have to maintain two different versions of the game. At that point, they might as well drop the censorship toggle entirely for PC. The only reason it's being censored on PC is because of the game's release on consoles certain content isn’t allowed there. For crossplay parity, both PC and console versions are affected. Maintaining a single version simplifies development, especially since Void doesn’t have a large dev team. They can barely keep one version running properly, as evidenced by the #❗known-issues-and-fixes so two would just produce even bugs. Nonetheless, it’s been stated countless times that in RoN’s case a console censorship toggle would achieve nothing rating boards don’t care whether the content is simply toggled off in game; if it exists, it still impacts the rating. Context matters, RoN’s realistic, modern setting and the topics it covers has drawn much harsher scrutiny than titles like RDR 2, Cyberpunk 2077, or Outlast Trials. On top of that, its physical disc release triggers a more thorough review process than a purely digital game like Rust.
In summary:
RoN is censored on PC due to console restrictions and crossplay parity. A censorship toggle wouldn't change its rating, as the content's presence alone matters. especially with a physical release facing stricter review. Maintaining one version is easier for Void's small dev team.

I couldn't care less about the "censorship" RoN is going through(I understand why you might not like it, but I don't care, I like the gameplay, not the story.) but knowing that they aren't fixing all the glaring flaws with the controller support(bad gyro sens slider, no ratchet button, no gyro accel, no flick stick, no button remapping) while they do take the time to prepare the game's content to be up to the publisher's liking feels like Void are on different pages, especially considering that keyboard and mouse control schemes aren't supported, thus not allowing controllers like the Alpakka, which by default only sends keyboard/mouse input through gyro, sticks and buttons. The controller support isn't ready yet. Fix the gameplay before "fixing" the story, please.
Hello, so I absolutely love this game and I'm well aware that this is such a non issue but the mirror ball on the Yacht Mission from Dark waters is not depicted accurately
The fixtures that are used to "illuminate" the mirror ball are first, not even pointed at the mirror ball as well as not even the correct type as the kind of fixture depicted don't produce a beam as focused as the one in game. Additionally there's no light source emitting the green and red that's depicted in the game.

More of a suggestion but it would be nice if you could swap utility with AI teamates so that you can operate more effectively during a mission ex I might want to have a wand most of the time but when I run out of throwables I can swap with a teammate that has a launcher to make sure its used properly
Also allow for a delay of breaching when working with smoke cause 90% of the time the AI will push in and cause a firefight before the smoke has actually affected the combatants

And that is for a good reason, people want a solution that can please the playerbase and not just the corpos dogshit content restrictions. I am mostly concerned they will have to censor stuff in future dlc's or not even go with the idea they have because it would be too dark for the restrictions.

I have one simple suggestion/tip. You know how the game the officers overlook a city? Can we please get maps and scenarios for buildings within a city setting? This is very realistic as real life scenarios doesnt always happen in remote locations. Let's get some city-themed missions!!! 🙂

I’d like to kindly ask you to please reconsider adding mod.io support on consoles. Mods keep games alive and build amazing community content. mod.io is a great, secure platform to bring mods safely to consoles.
Adding this would greatly enhance the console player experience and help keep the community thriving for years.

The issue is less mod io but unreal engine, the way the engine is designed makes it very hard to add mod support on consoles
So while the odds are not 0 they are very slim sadly like very slim
Hey I can't wait for the console release, and I had a suggestion for a weapon to be added at some point in the game life cycle: the B&T APC223 or APC300, they would be relatively unique as not many games have them and APC stands for advanced police carbine
Will clothes be added in the 1.3 update?
I really hope we see mod.io support on Ready or Not consoles later this year — it would be a huge win for the community

If new dlc gonna come out i have ideas for missons:
1 :Low budget tunning : a street with mechanic's workshops but only few of them pack their customers cars with meth and other drugs so you gotta find out wich workshops are hiding drugs and report their work (if you report wrong one you get -200 points for miss report and get chance to report next one but its your last try if you miss again you fail 2nd objective)
2: dependence day: you get info from mole there is gonna be terroist attack on 4th july they are gonna attack firework factory and fill them with white phospor the main objectives gonna be : contain the barrels with phospor and already filled with it fireworks , report entry cards and unifroms and arresting the leader "OHAN"

Suggestion:
Make a setting like (Streamer Mode: On/off) or (Gore: On/off) so where PC players can still have the dismemberment and uncensorship like how the game was before.
(A lot of other games do this and i think it will be perfect for ready or not)
Here's a few suggestions I think would be cool:
Medical menu
Kind of like the game operator, you'll this will allow you to apply medical to your;
Arms, Legs, stomach, chest and head.
With options for medical being
Tourniquets, Gauze (maybe) bandages, and Morphine for painkillers.
With this, like shown in the trailer for ready or not's 1.0 (I believe) It could also come with a dragging mechanic.
Whenever an officer goes down, maybe they can just sit there, and you can ask your AI to hold cover while you move your teammate out of the way.
More belts and gloves
fictional versions of the Mechanixs gloves would be cool, coming in ranger green, multicam, coyote brown, tan and M81 Woodland.
Based off the "Original Mechanixs" and M-pact Gloves.
Belts (All fictionalized ofc)
Tyr gunfighter, tyr load carriage gunfighter, Ferro concepts Bison belt, Crye ranger and MRB 2.0 belts would be sick, all coming in RG, Coyote brown, black and multicam.

A lot of SWAT Teams are starting to standardize vests such as the;

Not much to add, just the LAPD SWAT's most know helmet (EXFIL Ballistic SL helmet) would be sick to see in game.
It comes in black, multicam, ranger green and coyote brown.
Gyro aim needs fixing
The registrable rotational velocity caps out incredibly low and makes for an overall worse experience in its use
For those who may not understand think of it as a mouse but it just caps out all your registered mouse movements to 1cm/s or less

PS5 player here, first played ready or not this morning, Immediate thoughts, the game needs a quick restart option in the mission results screen, and peek left and right shouldn't put the character into a walk, peek shouldn't affect the speed at all, just my thoughts in first impressions of the game

I live in new zealand / oceanic, can we please have an option where in the world we can connect to for public lobbies, EU is so sht for me resting at 350 ping but west coast USA and I get 220 ping much easier to play with, also add the high ping warning text to the hud so I can toggle it off when I want it sucks seeing it all the time

[Steam Achievements]
Constant achievement popup
Every time I do an action for the new steam achievement, it pops up on the bottom right side, so if I arrest a suspect or use the mirror gun it'll pop up on the right side saying I've done one more of the 50 or so required for the achievement. All of them also pop up every time I start a mission or go back to lobby. This is kind of distracting.
There are other games with similar achievements that don't constantly pop up, maybe its a setting you guys can change.
And I know I can go change steam settings, but I'll have to change it every time I play RoN. If you guys can tweak some settings once to not make it pop up until the achievement is fully earned, it'll make things easier.
Just a small QoL thing, which I'd appreciate if you could fix.

- Did anyone notice new walk/run animations. Honestly the previous ones looked better. New ones look like SWAT team shat their pants and walk/run on eggshells.

- Gerard spawned in the walls and we had to wall bang him to even finish the mission
-One of the recordings for the achievements is bugged and can't be collected
The SA-58 is bugged and the kickback on the gun doesn't match the full auto fire rate
The playable character shadows are bugged to all hell now
(and a personal caveat) The player limit editor is no longer compatible and we're stuck with a max of 5 members
I understand if the last one is not a priority, or even something that should be taken into consideration, but we played for 1 hour and this is just some of the broken stuff we encountered. Is this the new bloody standard?
I'm Curious, what led to you guys to add difficulty to the game? I'm asking because it made the game worse in many aspects, such as:
Hard mode is really stressful since SWAT AI seems broke with getting stuck in places and not returning fire and dying, which lead me to having to alt + f4 many retries in the early missions!
reduced suspect stun duration really means it, because they are really stubborn to surrender now, since flashing works for 1 second? Pepper and bean seems to be useless now, unless you focus fire in a single suspect.
Enemy IA seems to fire from the smallest pixels too. I had one of the most troublesome firefights of my life in the outside stairs in Stolen Valor.

Hit, or Non Injuries, Non Affects of any wounds. Thats actually serious BS and needs to fixed quite /SOON/... Also the Medkit has actually nothing to do in the game as we can just heal our selfs with a Bandage? Sure thing ill be fully Ready to Fight with Injuries, Bullets sticking in my Vest, Arms, Legs. I think that is Realistic huh? Why the fck i do still have Broken Legs after trying to kicking doors? That should be Fixed as well, cuz its not realistic without even feeling a hurt before or any signs to get injured by that. I mean its just a frkn Door.. Why we cant add the Tazer as a Secondary Weapon? Its so Bad to have no bedicated Button to equip the Tazer.
Why i cant make a NPC moving to my Direction while standing? I really suggest to look at Gray Zone Warfare in case of Injuries & Ballistics and just Copy that - Game will be Great again with other fixes. Come on Void, you can do it so much better.
Man if that were the only problem. I've been here since beta and it feels like we're there and then all over again. The animations are worse after the update, npcs bug out and no actual change was made to them other than making them more accurate and making the non-lethal even less potent. We can't interact with doors proper anymore, it's the first time ever I've encountered a bug where I can't take out my weapon or even change load out in the headquarters. This is a mess. I feel like the team promised a step forward and delivered on two steps back

oh. I say that because there is a physical package of drugs on shelf that cannot be reported and I thought I checked the lot through. was able to report the van.
I can say, for this game that its pretty nice, I had it way before but it popped up on my tiktok fyp so I redownloaded it, the update introduced what I feel the game needed the most was harder difficulties. It is good, but can be better, maybe another difficulty thats just rage inducing, mostly dying quicker to gunfire, the game is advertised as one mistake and you are dead but it really isn't, you can tank alot of shots before going down which doesn't really fit the narative, yes kevlar can block lots but neurogenic shock should still be there. The game feels way too survivable unlike real life where even 1 shot is fatal.
also to add, in my opinion the game lacks normal maps like suburban houses, the maps are pretty nice but I feel like there should be more home invasions for realism, ea suburban houses

@glass rune while yes the game needs the diffculity ranked up, i dont think the ai needs to be instagibing us in 1 shot. they have the best eyesight, the best hearing, the best reaction times. we stand no chance in the hard mode all while it being "easy" because the ai is unfair.

I genuinely didn't find the hard mode that bad in multiplayer (altho I've spotted some Jason Bournes and John Wicks in commander), it's just that instead of making them dynamic and smart, the devs decided to up their stats artificially. It's frustrating to notice seemingly small fixes done by the modding community while the devs break the game

Currently on PC. Launching in safe mode and normally. My loadout is bugged. I can only equip 1 flash bang - 4 ar mags - 2 pistol mags and yet it says 13/13 slots filled.
Please add back the other missions types. I want bomb defusal and stuff. I dont want the ROE to be based on my difficulty setting. Sometimes I want it to be difficult but have it be the active shooter so the ROE is loosened a bit but the enemies, the amounts of enemies, and trap amounts change. You had it before, why cant we have it now?

When you change from a rifle to a different type of weapon and even after double checking the ammunition slots. Your still vest only shows rifle mags even when running a shotgun or smg with no rifle to put those rifle mags into.

I’m new coming from ghost recon where your vest visually changes accordingly to the ammunition of your primary. Example when running a shotgun. Shells are visually displayed on your vest instead of rifle mags.
It’s on purpose to avoid heavily demanding performance issues
Mags on the vests changing depending on the gun you have is very risky and comes with whole hosts of issues on its own

@wanton forum it seems your hotfix patch fixed comms, but having it muted by default behind a bumper and D pad press is a horrible idea. This should be changed to mic open as default, NOT muted. And have a toggle in options

We'd love to see more realistic aiming mechanics. Currently, it feels like the character just raises their hands in front of the gun without any weight or motion—it breaks immersion. Adding small details like head tilts, grip adjustments, or subtle body movement would go a long way in making aiming feel more natural and believable. -

Arrest Animations & Bugs
There’s noticeable jankiness when arresting suspects—especially on stairs or uneven surfaces. Characters clip into walls or cause crashes due to animation issues. Improving these animations (and fixing related bugs) would make arrests much smoother and immersive. -
Realistic Physics Interactions
We'd love to see more dynamic environmental physics. Examples:
Objects breaking when shot or thrown into.
Suspects flipping tables or using objects as improvised cover.
Ability to move objects tactically ourselves.
This would make engagements feel more reactive and grounded.

I think the ai has some kinks to be worked out. I just watched my entire ai team shuffle like a deck of cards for 30 seconds until a suspect came and shot me in the face, and only after that did they clear the room I told them to before they decided they identified as the four aces in a deck

Fr, they also need to get better at clearing providing support when entering rooms like if I’m going right then ai needs to send one immediately after to left to watch my back, ai combatants given the scenerio should be surrendering faster and actually doing it also if I shoot them in the leg and arm they should be falling or dropping their gun not tanking it

First off — big fan of the game and appreciate all the hard work you put into it!
That said, I wanted to share some feedback about the maps. While the large, sprawling maps are impressive, many players (including myself) find them exhausting and sometimes frustrating to clear. The long playtimes, constant room-clearing, and slow pacing take away from the intense tactical action that makes the game great.
I’d love to see more smaller, tighter maps added in future updates — maps that focus on quick, high-stakes engagements and tighter corridors, which really ramp up the tension and tactical decision-making without the marathon clearing sessions.

I noticed that the FISA Battle Belt and other cosmetics from the Supporter Edition are unavailable to us, which is disappointing since console players never had the option to buy that edition pre-1.0.
I wanted to ask if there are any plans to make these cosmetics available for console players in the future—whether as unlocks or paid DLC. It would be awesome to access content that was previously limited to PC supporters.

Hey Devs! So I have been loving the game, but I have a few caveats: first, the weapons. We have a lot, but theres also a ton that aren't available to us but ARE to suspects. Any chance we could get those? The MK-V isn't swat stuff but yall made lore explanations for that so..... Then second, maps. Ik we just got two more, but man it would be nice if we got more maps more often. Ik thats a mod solution but still.

Fr I don’t mind the aimbot and all that because People should expect them to have good aim, in realife some people have that aim. I think the ai should depend on who they are. If it’s a druggy they can take more shots before being took down because they don’t feel it but have bad aim, if it’s a terrorist they can have better aim but not immune to shots as much. But all we got is, bullet sponges, and it. Clearly bullets not registering like they should, and I’m fed up with my gun auto going on slanted mode rather than using the sights, when it’s at an angle it is so much more inaccurate. I’ve seen terrain bugs, bullet not registering, save deletion for some reason, class system picking it’s own items, people getting stuck on each other (ai), my whole team was stuck on a glass pane in the dealership level, evidence going through the floor, and most importantly not a bug but annoying is my ai teammates not getting out my way.
Side note, I do believe, there is a viability issue with traps when using a mirror because sometimes you look and there is nothing but open that door and your gone

I’ve noticed when playing multiplayer and giving orders. It seems like judge character only has all the voice lines for all commands. I was playing with MacBain and I called out a few commands and he said nothing and I figured it was a bug, but then I actually started to think and I was like wait maybe they didn’t record voice lines for the characters which is sad cause mcbain is my favorite voice
The skin for the "Salmon 4D GTX" boots are backwards in the game on officer model. I currently wear the same boots on duty in real life and they are 100% backwards on the wrong feet in the game. The thick pad part is supposed to be inside of the shoe for fast roping/rappelling to mitigate rope burn/heat, not on the outside.

I’m trying to play MnK on Xbox but I can’t use TMB2 because I don’t have a mouse that supports. And since I can’t rebind it, using a barrel attachment is pointless.
Unless you used a third party system or I’m completely oblivious to a rebind system within Xbox itself, you are mistaken.

There is one mistake, the screen image says FBI when starting the game and in the game store too, but in-game they are SWAT operators and even TOC says sometimes after every body died: Let's bring in the federals (FBI)

Now that we're at v1.0, I'm loving it so far, though I'm reluctant about the removal of gritty aspects to get on-board with consoles, but I get it: more money, more potential for a better game, more content, etc. As a supporter, I want to bring up a few items I've been keeping an eye on for a few years, waiting to see if they'd be implemented.

Muzzle brakes and Compensators do not reduce flash (unless compared to a bare muzzle on a short-barrel version of a firearm). Compensating flash hiders like the Surefire Warcomp or debatably the AK74 "muzzle brake," fair enough, those do a bit of both, but the default flash hiders shouldn't be spitting fireballs on standard-length long guns (like the G3A3, the SR15, the Mk1, the Shotguns, and the SMGs that fire handgun rounds). There's currently no incentive to choose anything other than a compensator, muzzle brake, or suppressor (other than increased length), and there should be; flash hiders should do what they should do, brakes and comps increase loudness and flash with the benefit of control, and suppressors decrease loudness, recoil, and hide flash at the cost of maneuverability and ADS speed.

JHP vs AP still seems to be negligible, I'd like to see more reason to bring one over the other. For now, I just use JHP because I can't tell a difference in effect or regarding lack of penetration or overpenetration.

Reticle brightness: The red dots are too dim to see when you turn your flashlight on, but we don't need them to be bigger dots (often the mistake that devs make), however the guys with IR lasers or laser pointers don't need the dot brightness to compensate a light because you can't currently run both a light and laser at the same time, so adjustable brightness settings would be really nice. Maybe not 10-12 settings like an IRL Aimpoint or something would have, but being able to adjust it for fine under NVGs, brighter under NVGs, fine in the dark, brighter in the dark, fine in the light, and brighter in the light, that would be really nice. Not the end of the world, but it would be a nice touch. If not, please just make the dots 2 MOA in size and "Aimpoint bright-as-the-sun white-hot" no matter what you're viewing them through, NVGs, naked eye in the dark, or naked eye in the light.

Optic Heights: On many weapons, such as the MP5 and its variants, the G3A3 and its variants, the FAL/L1A1/SA58, etc, they're using tall optic mounts (typically designed for AR15-derived or AR18-derived systems) which don't suit the gun that they're being put on on, then the optic sits way too high on the right side of the screen when presenting the weapon and occludes vision unnecessarily.

More armor should mean more slots (because there's more rigging to put pouches on), which would then make sense of the increased weight and reduced speed felt by the player. I wouldn't increase this by a lot, but maybe 2 more slots, the more armor you have?

First Responder Mode: That would be awesome, like an additional difficulty setting, where you only get what an average cop gets, a rifle or shotgun in the car's trunk, so every other guy gets a long gun, the rest have handguns. No helmets, no gas mask, just your soft armor vest or MAYBE a covert plate carrier, a handgun, 3 or so mags in total, handcuffs, taser, and pepper spray (unless you're the lucky one that spawned with the rifle or shotgun). People wouldn't be able to throw lead willy-nilly due to lack of equipment, so that could be really fun and challenging.

Stripping ammo from like guns on the ground (Insurgency Sandstorm did this well). Sometimes you just don't have enough stuff and, if you find a gun that matches yours, that would be a really nice feature.

I just started playing Ready or Not on PS5 (as of July 15), and honestly — I’m hooked. The tension, the realism, the atmosphere — it’s exactly what I’ve wanted from a tactical shooter.
But there's one thing I seriously wish I had access to… and I only found out about it after looking online:
The old feature where you could choose how the mission plays out — Bomb Threat, Active Shooter, Raid, Hostage Rescue, or Barricaded Suspects — after selecting the map.
WHY is that not in the game anymore? 😭 I was so sure it would be there. It just makes so much sense! Choosing how a mission unfolds gives players so much more variety and control, especially for those of us who like replaying maps in different ways. As a new player, I feel like I missed out on one of the coolest features this game had.
Please, I’m begging you — bring this back. Even if it’s just for Custom Mode, or a legacy toggle, or offline play. Anything. It doesn’t even need to be fancy. Just that five-option menu after choosing a map — it would make such a difference.
This game is already great, but this would push it to legendary. Please consider it 🙏

It's only too hard because VOID insists on making it as much work as possible. They insist that they have to create a new map for each mode and that every level absolutely needs every mode.

My thoughts about LSS update:
- The LSS update broke a lot of stuff. But that's how it was with each big update, they always breake things instead like playtesting the update before going live. Honestly it's getting really annoying.
- Your lethality argument might be rooted in the difficulty system, hard mode NPCs are tanky and super reactive and accurate (almost the EA days). I saw suspects tanking 5.56 to the head but I also saw them dying to .45 to the head. Game is just consistently inconsistent because it's not fixed yet.
- I too payed over 200€ for two supporter editions, I also convinced several more people to buy the game so my total contribution is around 500€ but I don't need to be snarky about it.
- The graphics now really look like they were nuked into septic tank. Is it technical issue like VOID claim or was it attempt to make game more easily portable to consoles and they just got caught? I have no idea, both are possible but seeing their consistent quality control problems I would say it's really possible to be it just a bug.
- Difficulty system is imo questionable at best. This game had sort of "realistic" AI like junkies being less accurate than security personel or terrorists. But now having "standardised behavior" is just stupid.
- Censorship is Pandora's box that souldn't ever be opened. First it violates principles that VOID had back in EA days. Second it's forced on everyone. Third it puts some things in game to uncertain future (like we have ONE placeholder head wound, are we going to get more or are we screwed because of censors?, can the damage model be furter developed or are we stuck with what we have?What about future maps?). And the fourth, how can we be sure that this will not happened again (if it's going to happen again what will it be this time?).
we really need a quick restart button on console, and also a way to skip the objectives screen when we fail a mission.... like who wants to read that? it's so laborious and unnecessary going back to base and reloading the mission again and again.. puts me off playing the game tbh
It would be nice in the next update or upcoming DLC 4 if they add female operators in game I know a few couples who love to play the game but most of wives won't play because lack female skins and voices plus the mod skins and audio is buggy and unworkable at best
The reason why should female operatos in game is the fact the consoles lack mod support. It would make sense if the females are added since some of those console gamers might be females and probably dont want to use a male skin for their characters
Even though I stated the female mods both skin and voice are buggy so the best course of action is add them in game by Void instead

Having some issues with load outs and customizations not actually saving and sometimes completely vanishing after saving.
This is question mostly for "pre-LSS update" people.
Since the update it seems like the AI is acting... how to put it.. "1-Dimensional". The moment you enter the map every suspect and civilian AI starts acting in one specific behavior and are stuck like that for the rest of the mission. This affects both acting and voice lines. For example I ran Valley few times and everyone acts like the security guys were a hostage takers with lines like "please don't hurt me :(" and "Stay calm and I won't have to." It doesn't make any sense in the map setting being a private birthday party of wealthy family. Another case, Stolen Valor. The moment you get spotted there are always 2-3 instances of human shield and conststant threats from suspects (yet no reactions from them). Twisted nerve, I had 4 instances** in a row** where I got rushed by suspect then they throw away their weapon and surrender only to instantly turn it into fake out even before their knees touched the ground. Datacenter guys went back to pixel hunting terminators of 1.0 version. There are more instances but I won't be listing them all.
Also it feels like super senses of old AI are back. One quietly opened door or shot from supresed gun alerts the whole level for the rest of the run.
So... Is anybody else experiencing this or am I going nuts like Gerrard?

I think incapacitate with pepper should result in S. It is an edge case and wouldn't happen if the game isn't a buggy mess but still.

I think that RoNsole should have a MnK system so that players could play MnK with custom keybinds and not default binds. Also, maybe add in the general keyboard section gameplay options like “Lean Left or Hold Lean Left” and other things related.

I just wanted to give a suggestion, when we clear all the enemies out is there a way to make looking around for the civilians easier so it's less redundant and they aren't randomly walking around? Can we please add some type of coding (I’m not programmer) where if you press the button for compliance the same voice lines aren’t said twice in a row or something to that affect. I’m hoping in the future we get a voice lines expansion of some type. Even when reporting soft objectives how hard would it be to add some story line there? Instead of just “TOC bagging” “TOC here”
I’ve also noticed that some AI do give some story to the map when you’re walking around but I think those voice lines are a little flat. I think we need to add a little bit of a banter when someone says something. Like for example on the hotel map I went into a book room and some said “Hey I’ve read some of these” and silence I think it would be better if another officer replied with “I didn’t know you read” or something along those lines. Just to add more depth to the characters instead of one liners when you walk into the rooms
Also trailers should 100% assist you look for civs when you clear the level. Looking around for one civ is so miserable on maps like port or greased palms. I’ve noticed sometimes the civs will come find you so maybe adding a “Come to me” type of action like “search and secure” where you call the civs on that floor to your location

I’m posting this as someone in the middle of their first full Ready or Not campaign. My mission progress was recently reset after the last update, so I’m replaying everything from the beginning.
I’ve already played Valley of the Dolls once before the reset, on PC. And I’m not here because it scared me. I’m here because it didn’t.
What I felt during that run wasn’t tension. It was absence.
The kind that whispers: “Something used to be here. And it mattered.”
So I’m writing now—before I’ve replayed it again—not knowing if the censorship I saw on console reflects current PC changes too. But the loss already hit. And it matters.
Let me be clear. I’m not asking for trauma porn or illegal content. I understand platform restrictions.
But you didn’t just censor a mission. You sanitized it.
You softened something that was supposed to hurt. And in doing so, you stripped away its truth.
On PC, Valley of the Dolls didn’t rely on shock. It relied on silence, memory, implication:
The birthday banner.
The casting couch.
The basement with the toddler room and the implied child corpses dissolved in buckets of acid.
The darkroom.
The photos.
The implication of the daughter and how Voll wanted her sexually.
The civilians who clearly knew.
The feeling that you arrived too late.
It wasn’t a horror map. It was a memorial.
On console, that’s gone.
The darkroom is now a doll shrine.
The grief is abstracted.
The mission became a spooky raid instead of a reckoning.
And even without playing the original again yet, I could feel what was missing.
You didn’t just remove content. You removed moral clarity.

I should say the hard difficulty is not for single player mode, at least not with the current state of SWAT AI: they are very vulnerable and still do crazy stuff like moving ahead of you directly at the suspects line of fire and crossing your LOS to put cuffs on some dead body, not even mentioning covering you properly or taking cover. I thought Neon Tomb was tough, but Relapse is just unreal. At Neon Tomb there are no so much open spaces and suspects don't engage you all at once with very precise shots from different directions (also AP rounds against suspects with armor seems to be more effective than JHP rounds against suspects with no armor). They are also somewhat resistant to 5.56 JHP rounds which should have more than enough stopping power at these distances given suspects don't wear body armor in this mission and these bullets are designed to expand when entering the body. I only made it to the second floor where MRI is and apprehended this Asadullah boss guy 1 time. Made it to the last floor where pathologist area is and was killed there (was so close, there was a really good chance I'd have made it if 2 Swat AI buddies were not killed after entire floor was cleared and suspect with AK went up from the last floor and got both of them momentarily). One more time observed how suspect with a pistol was able to take SWAT AI wearing armor and helmet. Finally managed to complete Relapse with C on hard difficulty (in Quick Play, not in Commander mode). Lost all SWAT AI buddies: 2x on 3rd floor (administrative one, that goes after long hall between two buildings) and 2x right at the entrance on 2nd floor (where MRI is), captured Asadullah and had to clean up last floor (pathologist) by myself, but I made it! Yes, hard difficulty brought something new to the missions and made it more "realistic" (you shouldn't be able to take out 20+ well-equipped terrorists with just 5 guys), but you definitely need more assistance from your AI partners
This has to be the buggiest map with guns glitching through the stairs, but also this happened 2 or 3 times, after all enemies were captured😂
Quick follow-up after posting my original feedback:
I just replayed Valley of the Dolls on PC (post-update), and I can confirm: the original version of the mission is still fully intact there.
• The darkroom? Still there.
• The daughter implication? Still present.
• The full emotional weight? Still lands like a gut punch.
Which means: this wasn’t a redesign. It was platform-specific sanitization.
And that hits even harder now—because I’ve seen both versions with my own eyes. On console, it’s stylized discomfort. On PC, it’s grief. Real grief.

am i the only one that thinks if you equip ur friendlies with flash goggles you shouldnt get friendly fire penalty for hitting them with flashes?
So something small, but I feel console missed out on having a supporter edition upon release for those who never had a chance to get it prior because they never had a PC and I love the look of the FISA gear and everything that comes with it. Plenty of things come and go from console storefronts all the time but I’m unsure of the ruling of this or if it would work the same on consoles.
After completing my Ironman run and keeping all my team alive on Xbox here’s some massive issues I experienced throughout the whole game:
SWAT AI being actual morons sometimes and getting caught on the map’s geography causing the whole squad to sit in a stand still. To fix this you have to tell the SWAT AI teammate that’s stuck to move over to a different area and then you can call the team all back over. Fix this please
Another thing is that I feel there needs to be more sections for the “move and clear” command with the SWAT AI not just on doors, for a map like port, I think at the end of every opening there needs to be a move and clear command because sometimes you’re just pushing out by yourself to a massive area without the AI unless you instruct them in a very specific way. Another example is stair cases sometimes there’s a clear command and sometimes there isn’t.
I feel there is a very weird type of input delay, I know the game is meant to be slow but sometimes I’ll press X reload and it takes like an extra second or longer to start the reload animation, maybe this is to keep the input for the fast reload but it feels weird
Not being able to shoot through things I’m being shot at was a big thing, windows I could see through in valley of the dolls at the bottom floor where the blinds are draped and also on port near those grate windows by the woman in the shipping container
I feel like the enemies take an extra bullet or two sometimes or something just feels very off sometimes when you’re shooting people I’m assuming there’s a health buff to the enemies
General performance issues. I love this game but this definitely does not run as good as something like another modern shooter. Like call of duty on Xbox, rainbow six siege, insurgency sandstorm. Those games have pretty good graphics and I would say look better then this game in its current state. I am not a developer so I’m sure it’s not easy. But we need to improve the framrate. Performance mode pulling sub 30 is not good. I can’t imagine playing this game in the other mode on parts where I was having 30 frames. I’m actually used to this however because I played this game on GeForce Now before this

I use keyboard, but play on console and the keyboard integration is terrible. I need to use a glitch to not have a game interrupted ever 5 minutes. And I can even see, let alone change the key bids. This game was originally launched on pc how is using keyboard this dang bad. Just make controllers not necessary and add key bids for keyboard to settings.
the devs want you to use their broken gyro aiming implementation on controller so they completely removed kbm support from the console versions. apparently somehow xbox players are kind of getting kbm support as a glitch

without meaningful content or features that keep things fresh, there’s not much reason to stick around after the DLCs. It’s especially tough on consoles where the community can already be smaller. Ive had the same problem and I can’t stress enough how annoying it is trying to clear the hospital when every door I enter is getting blocked and why do the ai always walk infront of you to arrest suspects? I’ve had so many instances where my teammates do that just to get shot by a dude holding that hallway

Also Improve idle → ADS transition animations with blend spaces, like MW2019. Right now, scoping in feels instant and jarring — it needs a more weighty, smooth transition. Add idle breathing animations and micro-adjustments during low-ready and ADS to add life to the player body. Rework reload and equip animations to feel grounded and physical — right now it lacks that satisfying weapon handling feel MW2019 nailed. Add a short flashlight toggle animation tied to hand movement, similar to MW2019’s approach — makes night missions way more immersive. Improve leaning animations to include body shifting and subtle footwork — avoid snap transitions. Let the upper body flow naturally into the lean like MW2019’s ‘Clean House’ mission. Make camera adapt to environment — blend out sights or adjust FOV when aiming near walls/doors to improve immersion and reduce clipping

If player has both ammo types for 357, they either have to use the first 6 ap, or swap to jhp and drop unused ammo. Not sure if theres a way to choose what it starts with just feel its something could be looked at?
I mean, if you wanted could make the revolver save unused ammo as a bullet with how many "loose" you have. Then if you run out of speed loaders you have to reload loose rounds one at a time.

The new update is broken, the AI will not recognize all the grenades like, gas, flash bang or stinger. Pepper ball gun mostly no feedback from enemies. Enemies with no armor will not die immediately after some shots from pump gun or riffle....
This makes in impossible to play in hard mode. I understand the hard mode but a human is still a human doesn´t matter which mode

Have the devs considered fixing the Commander Mod's AI teammates so that the bots don't try to secure evidence, suspects, etc before the player can clear the area. I am constantly getting killed when my teammates jump in front of my barrel trying to secure whatever is on the ground resulting in me and themselves being shot by the enemy.
They should only secure stuff if you give them the order to search and secure

Suggestion: Loving the game on console, but it sucks having the interact/yell assigned to the same prompt. On PC I have them on seperate keys. For console, can you consider custom binds or add Yell to the Command Controls: R1 + X / RB + A to yell for compliance.
Noticed a weird bug with rendering, most notably in the los suenos precinct. In one room through a window some mans head disappears and reappears lol. Not sure if this is a console bug or just a bug with me having high fov tho.

Shields are much better. It used to be that you could not push and batter a suspect with a shield. The suspect's gun would clip right through and the player would be shot immediately on contact. This seems to be way better post-update. It also seems to attract fire away from teammates well, and I'm getting wounded while using it much much less than before, despite the, shall we call it John-Wick-Isms. It seems that the tweaks were pretty effective. Good work.

📄 Bug Report — PS5 Visual Cosmetics Not Appearing (NVG & Gas Mask)
Issue:
When customizing my character with night vision goggles and a gas mask, the gear is properly equipped and functional in-game (i.e. NVGs work, and gas protection is applied), but the visual models do not appear. In both third-person views (teammates and cameras) and loadout previews, only my helmet and face are shown — the NVG and gas mask are invisible, breaking immersion and defeating the cosmetic purpose.
What I've Tried:
Reinstalling the game ✔️
Deleting all local save files ✔️
Testing across different loadouts ✔️
Re-downloading save data from cloud ✔️
Comparing with other PS5 players (they do have working visuals) ✔️
Result: Issue persists. Cosmetics function but are not visible. Other PS5 players seem unaffected, so this may be related to certain loadouts, profile states, or save data conflicts.
Expected Behavior:
NVG and gas mask visuals should appear as equipped when worn, just like they do for other players.
Request:
Please investigate whether this is a profile-related bug or a more widespread PS5 cosmetic sync issue. Let me know if logs or further data are needed.

I ran a few missions yesterday and couldn’t help but notice—what’s up with the toned-down blood and gore? I’m not saying it needs to be a full-on splatterfest, but given the game’s emphasis on realism (and the fact that other games go way harder on the violence), it’s kind of wild that this even had to be scaled back at all. Just feels worth questioning, that’s all.

this game so desperately needs an update to fix all the irregularities, and a movement overhaul, console controls are just cooked, why slow down when you peek, no sprint?! it's a shame, give us controls like rainbow six siege (only lean left right when ADS) that would free up L3 for SPRINT and R3 for melee or whatever , pressing d pad to gain a little speed is JANKY at best.... meh 😡

It's a weapon designed from the ground up for use by law enforcement, and it could offer a new niche as a highly accurate secondary that would be slower to deploy and holster (folding the stock out and back)

Feedback: enemy armor should always be visible. Several maps seem to have armored enemies that are coded to be "armored," but we can't see any vests on them (Carriers of the Vine, for example, but there are other levels). We should always be able to see their armor so we can respond with the appropriate force.
Fix the night vision I’m so done trying to complete twisted nerve on S rank you literally can’t see a damn thing and when you put the night vision on it gives you night vision but the grain is so strong it literally makes no difference you’d see just as much if you came in with your eyes closed
Please add the masks and other cosmetics in the single player mode. Just add a new slots, i'm not asking the moon.
It’s pretty good, only suggestion more realistic blood splatters, not asking for post Morten damage but maybe more reactive to gunshots, I shot somebody and they dropped there gun and they had a bullet hole in them. They were fine, didn’t bleed out
fix your damn game. You released on console and all of a sudden the game went into the garbage bin. Every run has bugs, the suspects seem to have reverted to the old aimbot and wallhacks, the graphics look like PS2 (toilet has less polygons than a pyramid at more than 1 foot).
Not to mention Epic servers for some maps just die (Brisa Cove, possibly more), Invisible Suspects and Civs, Ragdolls are worse than before making the game more comical, on Relapse there is Minecraft cobblestone textures. near the gurneys on the ICU entrance to the left. And finally the game is near impossible to play at night since it crashes so much from epic servers most likely being flooded with XBOX, PS, PC players trying to play multiplayer.

CS gas doesn't work, it has no effect on enemies,
tactical shield only works sometimes, and at times the pause menu was unresponsive during multiplayer, had to restart several times.... please fix....

Can you please improve gore, such as the blood pool forming underneath the suspect even after they have been moved, and for the artery blood spilling animation, please fix that that is broken, make it so that they bleed until the suspect is dead, as well as fix the clipping of suspects and the walls. And the zip-ties on the suspect is broken as hell.

When changing difficulty in the level selector, it would be really nice if you didn't have to repick the level to confirm the change. Like if I opened a lobby on standard, picked a map, and then decided I want to do it on hard instead, I should be able to just select hard. I shouldn't have to repick the map too.
also please add a hotkey for the taser. we've had one for pepper spray for ages

An in-game friend system would be awesome because I can't link my steam to Epic and therefore can't play with my friend on Xbox directly.
I would give anything for a bloom setting. With Epic Post processing the bloom on many things is extremely high. Such as laser sights and IR lasers, as well as, the lamp on the mission select table and a couple areas in the night club. Flashlights can also at times, be pretty bad. I can be a bit photosensitive and the bloom makes several things quite painful. The ability to turn off bloom in the settings would be a game changer. Also, I noticed this issue to be much worse after the most recent update so it may be alleviated after a patch or two, but regardless the option would be awesome.

I really hope the game gets to it's state like before the console release, for consoles as well. I expected a real simulator with good quality, but at this state it doesn't make fun at all on ps5. I really hope there will be a update which make the 50 bucks worth so i don't need to regret it. The potential is big though

happens every single time, if you capture a guy in the captains room he will drop it under this rug and you can't grab it, you have to use specifically a flash launcher (primary) to blow it out from under the rug
I’ve been loving the game so far, completed all missions on my own, but a friend of mine keeps crashing everytime we try play, it worked once and then stopped working, he’s tried playing single player and that crashed as he loaded into the mission, he can’t even get past the loading screen.

I bought at 1.0 release and ps5 release but neither of the two scopes work properly.
I don’t think it’s too much to ask for those to work considering how long they’ve been in the game.
I’d like a multiplayer commander mode where ai officers fill empty slots. It might be difficult to make it work, but I think the host could allocate different officers to certain players’ commands. I like to play hard mode with friends but I only have one and the lack of manpower makes many of the missions excruciating.
Can y'all please fix the fact ai can laser you when I peek a corner but when I try to shoot I hit the wall when I'm aiming right at the person or my gun goes up cause it's saying I'm too close to the wall when I'm peeking around the corner also speaking of guns going up i feel like when u span acrossed a teammate ur gun should auto go down then go back up after ur not looking at them would feel more realistic
The friendly fire from the flash launcher is so frustrating. Either I don't shoot and my teammate dies, or I shoot and screw my S-rank, saving a life. Even with the flash goggles on, it still happens
Immediate retry needs to be implemented in single player instead of having to return to headquarters
Patches. the heavy armor has patch areas and adding patches would make the game so much more immersive and personal. custom patches would be cool too like mods or js adding a feature where you put a jpeg or png into it and it makes it the patch cover
Is anyone else having trouble with the mission relapse being completely impossible I mean, walking up to doors to use the mirror tool and the enemies open the door and shoot you dead or like somebody else was saying earlier lasering you if you present the tiniest amount of flesh around the corner.. since I have S rank on everything except relapse, I have not even finished it yet because it’s too hard on standard difficulty, whether it be them opening the doors right as I walk up to it or not flinching or going down when I hit them with bullets, beanbags or pepper balls no flinching nothing. They just run and flank me and do the same thing over and over and over and over. I have tried every tactic every method every single approach I can think of nothing works because at least in my version of the game every enemy knows where I am at every second and I’m dead before I even get around the corner to see where they shot me from

The fact that you need to go non lethal to get S ranks is just ridiculously stupid. It doesn’t even make missions harder or more tense, just more inconvenient. You buy your game expecting a swat simulator with brutal shootouts. Instead if you wanna get good ranks in missions you need to cosplay as mall security. Nobody bought this game thinking “Man i can’t wait to safely and non-lethally secure all the bad guys to arrest them alive!” You literally just make your game 10x more boring for no reason. I’m sure there’s tons of other ways to make getting S ranks more challenging and tense, but making you go non lethal in a Swat simulator game is not the way. I can promise you there is not a swat or any other task force team in the world that pulls up to a deadly mansion or crackhouse raid with beanbag shotguns and pepperball rifles, the whole point of swat is lethal full auto weaponry for its force and effectiveness. And so I think that the requirement for all suspects to be arrested alive to get an S rank should be removed or adjusted
Hi everyone! I have a suggestion about implementing an optional “Safe Mode” to manage censorship and mature content in Ready or Not. Here's the idea:
Suggestion: Add an Optional "Safe Mode" (enabled by default)
Many players enjoy the raw, realistic feel of Ready or Not, but the recent censorship changes (removal of gore, nudity, etc.) have hurt immersion for some of us. To balance player preference and platform requirements, I suggest:
A "Safe Mode" option, enabled by default, that censors gore, nudity, and strong themes
Players can manually disable Safe Mode after confirming they are 18+
Show a content warning or age confirmation popup when the game launches
Keep cross-play compatibility between Safe and Uncensored players, with visual indicators or a toggle setting
This would give freedom of choice, let players enjoy the full experience if they want, and still follow console certification rules. It’s a system already used in many mature games and apps. Please consider it — the community would really appreciate the option.

When you’re matchmaking and get a failed to connect to host if you open the menu back up to matchmaker again sometimes it won’t actually search for a game when you press search. You have to back out of it and click find game again for it to work
3-man and 4-man AI teammates are useless when clearing rooms. They just follow the same paths and check the same lines of sight as 1-man and 2-man. They really need to be taking more of the workload (looking to the center, button hooking hard corners, pie-ing open areas) instead of just playing follow the leader.
AI teammates feel especially inept on hard mode. They don't move or aim as fast as the bad guys do, they are often stuck looking the wrong way, backwards, or too close to a corner to return fire from behind it, and they die significantly more often than me when I'm playing on Hard mode.
They maybe should clear rooms a little faster? Especially when breaching double doors - it still seems to be the majority of the time that they wait for the guy in front of them to pass the threshold before they start moving. It should really be as close to one solid push through as possible - or with double doors, two pairs pushing through at roughly the same time to prevent diving into rooms alone.
Hard mode feels a little excessive at times - suspects with no visible armor tank several 7.62's center mass without flinching, their first shot aim with Uzi's and the like is a little ridiculous on maps like port, and I'm like 90% sure that they are aiming and shooting independently from their animations. Again, it doesn't really feel like SWAT has some of these same capabilities. It's almost like 9mm does more damage from suspect guns than from swat guns or something... There are parts of hard mode that i like, but it honestly feels like it's a toss-up between totally fair difficulty buffs and immersion-breaking gameplay bugs that are frankly pretty old at this point.
It's also jarring where the difficulty will break down. Suspects facing away from you might not respond to compliance calls, thereby letting you cheap-shot them with no penalty and without them moving. Meanwhile the fake surrender bug where I get penalized for shooting a legitimate threat happens every other game
I do like a lot of the behavior things like flashlight awareness, squad behavior (best moments in the game), and the angles they will pick in hard corners or through doorcracks. The blind firing is pretty good too. All of those kinda features, I can't complain. But these animation, damage, and aim bugs are like... Really getting old, pardon my french. And hard mode brings that out especially much.
Stolen Valor is a really good map - the verticality is so much more pertinent. The floor plan being so regular gives a rhythmic pace to the gameplay. You're either methodically clearing small, identical apartments or you're getting vertigo and sniped through doors and windows. The bounce back and forth of those two modes in the level design is fantastic. I will say I did expect there to be some bizarrely reconstructed area in the building and was surprised that one of the rooms is closed off. The ambience of "everyone fking hates the cops here" is peak. It felt less cartoonishly Gotham-city and more "being a cop is grim business". Not that there is anything wrong with Gotham city. But there's something to be said for just showing the grim state of affairs without an over-the-top horror show to go with it. It felt like a real place with genuinely sad and angry people in it. It had subtlety and verisimilitude. Good stuff. But mostly the verticality, it's so scary and great.
Cutting the power was suggested way back in EA, apparently, but never implemented. It would be great to implement now though. Agree with you here.
I found out that it’s because of the type of lighting they use and how it works with their maps and textures
With the addition of cutting lights it would basically need them to remake all of the textures of their maps (ie. remake them all) and change the lighting system they use. So it will likely never be added

I would like to first start off by saying I truly enjoy this masterpiece your team has created. When the game first dropped on PC in 2021 I was so disappointed we did not have it in the console community, so when it finally came I was beyond overly excited! Character build or creation mean a lot to me, but I was so disappointed to find out of all the officers to choose from there was not “One” female. I have been understanding of the realness you all have brung to the game and that there are a small percent of women swat officers in the world, but it would be nice and also realistic for you to bring at least one female swat officer to the game. We enjoy these tactical games SO much and would like to be included in the storyline. Thank you so much. I hope this finds the right hands.

No. No it will not.
It would be great to have a random map generator to play quick matches: having a set of assets (warehouse, office, apartments, etc), and the engine just assembles it randomly, putting mixed civilians and suspects, allowing the player to choose if the suspects are trained and well equipped, or random criminals with weak equipment, possibly generating random goals other than "bring order to chaos" and "save every civilian" like "arrest john doe" or "find and report documents/drugs/money"

After reading around it looks like this isn’t intentional. I think someone mentioned they’re gonna try and tackle this in the next patch. Might have been an optimization problem.
please let me know if reinstalling fixes it (even though i think it wont change anything, for now). It just sucks that every update brings new major issues that take ages to get fixed
Yeah the shadows and stuff are still botched. They’re gonna tackle this in the next patch most likely.
I just hope for the future that stuff actually gets tested and fixed before rolling out, instead of waiting half a year for the next big patch

Love this game. Since the LSS update though, I have noticed the AI SWAT are significantly worse at pathfinding: they will often not follow through on orders such as 'Move and Clear' and just stand there, or one will wander off around the entire map to enter a different way. When ordering the separate elements, 'Blue' team cannot 'Open and clear' and use grenades (yes they are equipped with them), whilst Red team never have that issue. There are also occasions where if the lead officer in the stick does decide he wants to go in and clear, the others won't go in with him, leading to a swift DOA; and also seen on many occasions when 'Move, Flash and Clear'ing, they will just enter the room and not throw the grenade.
The most notable maps showing these issues are Coyote, Sins of the Father, and Buy Cheap Buy Twice.

I am playing on Hard difficulty which states the AI SWAT are better, but I have found that they are also significantly worse at covering danger points such as the rear of the formation, open doors and hallways

Not the correct use of the channel; you probably missed, why are you charging in like that; have you ever physically phased an object through someone irl? how else would a gun barrel act if someone or something got in the way of it

I may just be stupid, but I’m trying to figure out how to use the M32A1 grenade launcher on PlayStation five in the weapons category it clearly says launcher, but there is nothing there and I also don’t have access to the 50 caliber pistol. I have all of the DLC but still no extra weapons.

Add more death animations. People don’t fall slowly over when they get shot they fall like a sack of potatoes. There’s way too many death animations that need more weight added to the body when it falls

No one who actually does CQB for a living trains shoulder swapping. It’s more realistic that you never swap shoulders.
I do understand that focusing on mastering strong-side shooting and core CQB principles is more beneficial than prioritizing shoulder transitions based on personal experiences. Was more of a I'm curious as to how that would feel in this game. Whether it would make any difference when handling certain walls or thresholds.

Idk about you, but I’d rather be more accurate with my strong side than gain 1 inch of cover. In rare circumstances, switching shoulders is beneficial, but having spoken with several former tier 1 guys about this subject specifically, shoulder transitioning is not something that is taught very often, if ever. The benefits of accuracy outweigh the benefits of added cover. Unless you’re completely ambidextrous, it’s pointless to prioritize time to training shoulder transitions.
Any of you guys got a rough estimate on when void will fix the graphics bug? I don’t really mind the graphics that much but it wouldn’t be nice to see the game look better. I can’t find anyone making a rough estimate or saying one can’t be made. I’m new here so I don’t really know if I’m in the right spot (hope I am). Well anyways I just wouldn’t mind the game looking better, I play console and I’m not too bothered on it, hell the main game I play on pc is fallout 4, sorry if this is taking up too much of your time and I didn’t phrase this that good.
Hey, just wondering why after the adam update you took out ragdoll‘s, and replace them with animations instead of improving upon the active ragdoll mechanic
I don’t truly know but it might be thanks to how ragdolls have been acting glitchy lately. Seen them fly sky high. It’s likely a temporary solution until they can fully figure out how to fix the ragdoll problem. Take this with a grain of salt as I’m basically guessing why they did it.
I’m obviously not apart of the dev team but giving at least a somewhat likely answer is better than never getting one.
Please add keyboard and Mouse settings like able to change keybinds and toggle lean and alt-lean and etc.

Played this game a long time ago, and just came back. The game is just worse now, what the hell happened. I hear some whispers of some sort of console update butchering the whole game, why would a console update change ANYTHING in a pc game, I'm so confused. Is this game just broken now? Hi everyone, the PC version of Ready or Not is censored just like the console version because VOID Interactive didn't want to have 2 different versions of the game due to technical issues. HOWEVER the console version is beautiful and very different from the PC version. Look at these two images representing the cellar of the Valley of the Dolls mission on the PC version with children on the walls and on the console version. On the PC version we can see 2 children on the wall, however on the console version we see 2 dolls. So there are 2 different versions? So why have censorship like in 23mg/s?
i think its easier to un-censor images on pc since they are static environment resources, ur right its technical issues when it comes to censoring gore since its related to physics

Because the 23 MB/S evidence was a change that we were planning to do for a while. It links that mission together better with Sinous Trail
