I have MAJOR doubts about this being true, it doesn't seem to align with any actually in use code, not one that I could find at least

A METAR also looks different, like way different

In this case, it'd be saying:

There's definitely stuff missing in here, like the ordinal day and when the alert is "over" and replaced by a new one, and so on, but that seems like a decently reasonable estimate for what would be acquired from such a code format

just looking at all the theories, I saw one theory which caught my eye. It kind of made me want to look more into this. It was a mention of MK-Ultra inspired experiments. Seeing that no matter what you do on the team, like killing as many civies as you want without getting more than a point penalty. I think there may be external powers at hand. Also, your main character never feels much remorse no matter what happens to anyone on the team. Not even so much as an expletive. He always just reports it like another Tuesday. This could be a reach, but I'd like to think we play as a brainwashed puppet for a higher power. Im newer to the game, so take this with a grain of salt. But it would be quite cool to think that in our main characters head, he also views it as a game. Like the point system could be totally made up in our heads in single player as result of psycho-testing in a facility somewhere. A facility where after brainwashing, you'd get to have more privileges depending on how well you did in a controlled combat situation, like playing dress up or getting a new watch.

But perhaps this experiment was for the good? Maybe it was made by an organization comparable to the fictional SCP foundation. We have a lot of missions based on taking down CP distribution rings, and multiple other connections.

Hi, I'm kinda new to this but I've watched some videos and dug pretty deep into the old Carcosa arg just a week ago. I then realized it's discontinued... :( I'm kinda invested in this new sepulchre arg too tho, so let's solve this!

I just watched the new trailer and are we just not gonna talk about the monitor in the kitchen?! Who does that?

This whole video description text is written as if the "National Meterological Service" sent it out to warn the public.
They name some really specific things that are going to happen though ("wind speeds of 175 - 200 mph"). It almost seems like they already know what's coming - like they are behind this somehow. They maybe are testing something and want people to stay inside so people don't ask questions. Or they already tested something and it went wrong.
It might also just be the devs giving some dlc context...

Possible leads might also be:
