Anyone else downloading the SWAT Commander Simulator demo on PS5?

Hello, my friend is on PS5 and he can't join my game. Here are the issues we're facing:

1. In the main menu, he cannot navigate to the right to join my game, whether he uses the joystick or the arrow buttons.
2. In the settings, when he tries to connect his Epic account, nothing happens when he clicks the button to connect.
3. When he clicks the button for the EOS overlay, there is no response.

Additionally, I can join his party, but he can't promote me (I'm not sure if this is a bug or simply not possible). Because of this, we can't play the new DLC that I own.

It’s so counterintuitive no matter what I do. The programming for these missions seems to negate most things the player does in an extremely artificial way.

Like I’m wasting more time than learning and getting better.

In commander mode I use 3 Veterans and an Armorer, they still die the same exact way as 2 Negotiators and 2 Pacifiers. Just negate after negate after negate. It’s awfully annoying.

I heard the voice clip and that automatically made me assume he was alive. But when playing one of the new boiling point missions. I saw the plaque which either means he died or he retired. Doing the math if he was born in 1968, then he would’ve been 57 years old when he died. But if he was not born in 68 and that was the years he’s been in Senate. He would’ve been the longest running senator at that time. I still believe that he’s alive and he’s somewhere safe
