That's always thrown me through a bit of a loop though. See, when I hear "cqb", I'm thinking "practically melee range" like with Twisted Nerve, where I only bring smgs. You are right though, that shotguns aren't much good at too much of a distance. That strange catch 22 is why I just never run shotguns at all.

Yes, sometimes as canon fodder, or sometimes as actual means of clearing a room. Running a shield, drawing their fire in one direction, while the ai flanks. Ai can be pretty damn effective when used right.

Again, I don't know if that's a great idea. Maybe it is, but I've always used them as normal foot soldiers, because of that one instance where they switched to their primary, dropping the shield (a long time ago and was probably patched, but still).

It's common for Counter-Terrorism and specialized tactical units to wear face coverings (balaclavas) in environments where high-risk criminal organizations like gangs and cartels operate to protect their own identity. These gangs tend to know who works there and gather info on families etc to have leverage.

Usually in those environments, any one in the special units wouldn't tell you they were doing it because of the risk

Bro im confused asf rn, on ironman mode i made it buy cheap buy twice, died on carrier of the vine. No officers dead but still have my progress saved.. on top of that i thought i lost all progress but it didnt delete its still there😭
