might be controversial but after some playing and testing I feel like casual is the most realistic difficulty and experience. why? suspects don't have milisecond reaction times and awareness. you, as a trained swat operator, actually have a good chance to get the first shot off. this is especially noticeable on bigger maps like greased palms and hide and seek. on standard, don't get me started on hard, enemies start shooting at you from across the map if they spot you for a milisecond. on casual it's actually possible to play stealthy and take out enemies before they start mag dumping. also the swat ai, which needs A LOT of babysitting, is less of an issue because they can take a few more shots so their behavior is not a death sentence for them. Obviously there are some negatives to casual, especially the number of suspects per map which is reduced. Also suspects do not tend to flank you as much as on standard. Just wanted to share my experience because I really enjoy the game on casual. I've been playing like this for about a month since I unlocked all the cosmetics. It's less frustrating and most imporantly, in my opinion, more realistic. A Swat Team should have the advantage in gunfights.
