It's also worth noting that it's the recent reviews that are negative. By all positive metrics, we're doing better than we were before the news got out.

The game reflects a heavy reality in the lives of law enforcement, and removing these details is just the beginning of a long process that's already underway. Just by looking real body footage, you see how some details are important when you want to create the best immersive experience.

If you think recent bad review are not a big deal, then you're not ready for the next step.

People will not change their bad review, and when all the PC players will learn/notice about this change, they will probably give a bad review then.

Despite the Quote-on-quote censorship that a lot of people are blowing out of proportion, Kam has stated on record that they are doing the bare minimum for Console Store Guidelines/Country Restrictions as a few countries do not have an R18+/Adult Only Classification (which can have the game blacklisted like RoN was early this year in Australia), there maybe a few modders that will create a 'Uncensored' mod but if you want to run with console players crossplay will disable mods

It's worse on some levels because of the context of the levels alone. not only that, it would offer gameplay viriety to take suspects out safely.

Again those games depict completely different things GTA would probably be the closest but GTA 5 doesn't have gore and gta tends to take a less serious approach to it's story telling. It's very easy to disassociate with cyberpunk 2077 because it depicts a futuristic dystopian setting and Doom is about killing demons these are hardly realistic and modern and comparable to the depths of what RoN covers.

2. Cyberpunk and GTAs Single player aren't the same in all regions, for the console versions they're likely censored in certain regions.
