Please do understand with any differences in the games, that will produce different bugs of which have to be rooted out and dealt with separately, PC Multiplayer and Console multiplayer would have to be maintained individually, if it was all sunshine and rainbows and easy to do, VOID would have done it but it's not.

On regards to people advocating for not buying it or otherwise, I know VOIDs hands are tied if they wish to make a successfull game and be a successfull company, they have to do what they did to not go broke. At a certain point I'm not gonna continue to fund a game I think lost its vision, I stopped buying the new COD titles after I thought the vision had changed completely but this is minor, this is forced if they want to do well and so I know my pre-order is already in and in 11 days or so I'll be playing RoN with my buddies and I'm not gonna be affected by something so minor and inconsequential to my gameplay

That's fair. I personally bought this game because I was told it was raw and didn't hold back. The game asks you from the start if you're ready or not for what you're about to experience, and you never are. We all remember our first time opening that container at the docks, seeing that kid on the bed or the photos in that basement. It sticks with you, I'll probably never forget being told to stand down and lock that door, and THAT is the stuff that makes me play this game. Easiest fix would be a nudity option and gore option in the settings of the game, maybe with an age verification. Anything to avoid modding and having to play offline permanently. This is my personal opinion which I think is a pretty general opinion or at least most can align with it, at least those that are against the change.

From a logical standpoint, VOID is a company, not a charity; they HAVE to make money to stay afloat and sometimes they need to make sacrifices in order to achieve the larger vision, even if that means said vision isn't exactly what they had in mind.

My issue is this rawness, this game that asks you if you're ready to experience what you're about to experience, and you never are, is somewhat being softened, and I personally am against this. I feel like it takes away from what made the game what it is, what made it popular and controversial. I'd prefer if they didn't do this because if I were here to play a shooter game with realistic weapon handling, there are other games I can play but I choose to play this game because I've never felt these emotions while playing games before and I love that,

i'm not on their dev team... but making things that only happen on one platform is not usually that difficult. you don't need separate codebases or assets for it at all. its a little of extra work of course, but if possible it is worth considering the backlash. for instance Rocket League has vehicle models that only exist on Playstation and you can crossplay with those players, the model gets swapped on PC
