Also aside from the discipline and culture exposure, MP training doesn't prepare you for a transition to a civilian LE role be it police or prosecutor. The rules of the UCMJ and military police are so vastly different the translation isn't even close.

Anyone whose in LE will advise prospects not to seek formal education or training related to LE prior to becoming LE. it's never helpful like recruiters for that formal training will swear it is.

A lot of police academies are even getting away from boot camp style training, it's not producing effective officers. A lot of the academy is spent in a classroom with your face in a book

Yeah muster and marching and respect for rank structure is there, but the stress inoculation isn't even 1 to 1

Going into the military and learning a logistical or practical skill I'd argue is better than poorly translated police skills. The stress inoculation and ability to function in a paramilitary environment will serve you better, especially if you learn a logistical skill that also gives you personnel management and attention to detail skills

And one day when you inevitably say "wow this sucks I don't wanna do this anymore" if you follow through you're not boxed into a corner

Too many cops and soldiers that lose the battle to mental health invariably saw no way out of the profession as a major contributing factor and a big part of it is outdated advice that infantrymen and MPs translate well to cops or civilian sector work

Well alright. Anyway in the server browser you can see the map queue for the server you are looking at. Also hosts can tweak certain settings of the server for whatever they wish and you can also see the list of those changes. Having the ability as a host to set a premade map que list to inform people what maps to expect is a good way to reduce people constantly leaving to find something they want to play

I'd recommend using wedges to close off areas you clear so you don't have to go back

I also completely disagree, the movement is stiff and has 0 momentum, the gun handling is just as stiff, recoil is non existant, attachments barely affect how the gun operates and are super limited, the only thing i ground branch has is the ability to have both high and low ready which is laughable

the movement is tight and percise which is what you want in a cqb game (well what i want anyway), the gun handling is better because theres no random sway noodle arms going on, yeah they could use more recoil but its whatever, half the time i use neither and aim with laser

to me peak gunplay is sandstorm although i havent played in years so i should probably revisit before saying that

not slowing you down when leaning is another gb does that every game should do

so annoying not being able to lean and move like siege

makes leaning not even worth while unless youre holding an angle
