It’s slow paced. So much so that there is no sprint. That’s not a bad thing. You really do have to think a bit more. Use your team for sure. It’s really hard without your AI team. They don’t suck either. It also does help to have a bit of a plan

Depends on the map. Some are willing to surrender, others aren’t. Things like flash bangs, gas, and other non lethal items will make them surrender. It kinda depends how you want to play. The game rewards you though for not killing bad guys. You’ll figure it out over time as you play

I will say, the enemy AI will see you from god knows where, insane reaction time, and can be very stubborn to surrender. Thankfully mods help but I don’t think console will have mods

I guess. I’ve only played insurgency online. I like insurgency too so I think you’ll like RON. Arma is just a bit too much for me but RON and insurgency are great tactical shooters that aren’t a lot of work to play. Insurgency fast paced. RON slow paced. Both great games

1.No, you'd have to only finish the shown objective (eliminate/arrest all suspects, arrest all civillians, etc) but it gives you a lower rank, it has a dedicated "Evidence bagged" counter
2.If you're solo with ai team, after eliminating all the threats you can ask them to "search and secure" in the command, makes them secure all weapons, civillians, even ones that are bugged underneath the map

But in the future maps there are some "soft objective" things that are not needed to complete the mission, but gives you extra points and needed for the S rank (report meth package, dying child, etc)

i like to command one of the team to go with me and enter the room (in this case the toilet) and search it, while the other team stays there and watch the room in case someone tries to get in
