I think the free look is cool but yes, it’s a lot faster to just turn and face what you’re trying to see. Unlike ARMA you’re not going to be looking around during a formation march.

However, I could see like, being in a room with multiple suspects and you’re alone watching them as they take their time to submit. You know specific guy has a gun so you keep your weapon on him and use free look to check other suspects in the room to see if they are complying or going for a weapon.

I’ve never ever done that but like, I could see that scenario making sense.

That is intentional and a custom extension we built onto VOIDs trap implementation. The traps are placed logically in choke points (as they would in real life) but spawn randomly.

Tunnel vision is a huge problem in fights and that police work to train to suppress. So this literally divides your attention and is one of the way we tried to add difficulty but maintain a small realistic number of suspects.
