If you shoot a suspect, and they’re in an animation where they’re technically dead already, you can unload ten shotguns into them and they’ll still be standing until the animation finishes

The real purpose of the SD6 isn't for it's super high penetration or the ability to have any kind of ass behind the round. The irl purpose of the MP5SD6 is the fact that you can use any standard ammunition and it remains much more suppressed. It actually turns supersonic rounds into subsonic rounds. keeping the firing of the weapon much more hearing safe and quiet
(Supersonic break the sound barrier, subs do not)

Another is the ability to use standard ammunition from most beat cops' sidearms for logistical purposes. 9mm is a fairly common round because it's light in recoil and actual weight. Carrying a .45 subgun with the same capacity as a 9mm or a .22 is a lot heavier. Hell, another is the fact that it's a fairly small and reliable weapons system

Well with addon cosmetics if you're hosting and others don't have it you can wear it but they'll see you in default uniform and if you're not hosting and join a host who doesn't have it while you may be able to equip it in loadout still and it still shows in loadout it won't show outside of the loadout screen and you'll appear to be in default uniform.
