However, Home Invasion is much more easier than Dark Waters so if you didn't like more open missions like Greased Palms or more missions with high suspect counts like Hide And Seek then you probably won't enjoy the missions in the Dark Waters DLC

If you're suddenly having issues going from medium to high, it's likely something specific that your rig doesn't like on high settings that you can manually turn down.

If the enemy is wearing body armor, using AP ammunition can effectively deal with them

Yeah, to cover your tracks quickly you need to either totally physically destroy all drives beyond recovery, or overwrite all the data, and doing that via brute force is itself incriminating. Law Enforcement has access to forensic techs and special programs that can pull meta data to reconstruct deleted files and patch together damaged but still viable physical drives.
