I think the main thing people are interested in is the 3 new maps and locking them behind a paywall kinda sad. I'm not sure when the last map was added because I got this game 4 months ago but so far I don't think even 1 map has been added in that time ( I might be wrong)

I can understand wanting Home Invasion maps but to be fair they are providing the guns for free, which the gunplay in itself, is one of the biggest core features of the game that makes Ready Or Not a very unique game. Also locking 3 maps (that you can also just play with someone that owns the DLC in multiplayer), each with their own briefing, voice acting, structure and story behind them, I think it's well beyond fair to charge $10 for that and a cosmetic set with custom styles.

I will not lie, i am kinda meatriding Home Invasion but its a great DLC and i love Narcos.

I agree that the gunplay in this game is very good and that it takes a lot of work to make these new maps, but I think that to keep players on this game they should release at least 1 new map to the base game. Adding new guns is very good but when you play them with the same maps that you have previously played on, it gets kind of boring.

The DLCs launch along side free updates to the base game, this one including (to my knowledge) what they showcased which affects the game globally. I understand the want for more maps, but I think the global AI changes and other things make up for it.

The base game story line ends at Port Hokan, I assume it would be hard to add maps in-between the events of the DLC that take place after the end of the game because the start of the DLC is tied so well to the end of the game, as in Port Hokan, the hurricane that's present in Home Invasion begins landfall.

In this case, once people buy the game, thats it. They dont have to buy more items or a battle pass.

So money its not coming in.

In early access you can afford this because you are building the game and updates would lead to more sales. But thats not the case. Even with the free feature updates, fixes or guns, it would be a financial loss to give out maps for free

As always, I recommend joining someone with the dlc. People get to demo the maps in a way

without hard locking them behind paywall

is there an option i can turn off to stop very poor performance when playing with people?

when i play alone (friends only lobby, NOT COMMANDER MODE) I get like 200ish fps

when i play with 5 people i literally get like 70

anyone know if the soundtrack DLC also includes the new home invasion tracks? i cant find an official version of the narcos soundtrack anywhere without having to extract files and recompile the versions i want myself in bandlab (yes, i actually did that)

@rigid bone okay, so right now im in valley of the dolls averaging a whopping 200+ average FPS ALONE. Is there a certain setting that I have on that causes these drops when players are around?

even in super heavy combat i go down to like 130ish at the lowest which is not too shabby at all

It's concerning to me that Insurgency Sandstorm for me runs worse then RON which is on UE5.3.2 while Insurgency is on UE 4.27

I did an entire wipe (backed up my saves and stuff) and reinstalled. Seemed to resolve most performance issues

This includes Ready or Not in your appdata folder

Before carriers, narcos was unplayable but I was also messing with my .ini disabling fog and shit. So it may have been self induced

It's entirely because you're sending data to other users, your internet connection matters almost as much as your settings. 70 FPS is also a perfectly playable framerate
