SteamPipe most definitely lags behind EGS content delivery and patching. As much as that platform sucks balls otherwise.
EGS also does not have that copy operation SteamPipe does, so it does not cripple itself on DRAMless NVMes.

Steam LAN transfer feature is borderline useless, since it is using full SteamPipe, meaning it compresses data... to send over unlimited LAN... what the F is that 🤮
CIFS transfer goes 1GB/s, Steam LAN transfer is bottlenecked by my 5800X3D and does not even go 1Gb/s speeds, LMAO.
