I know people tend to complain about the ai, and while I agree sometimes the squad ai could be a bit better, I think the thing that bothers me more is enemy ai and friendly fire. As funny as it is from a gameplay perspective, it’s also kinda annoying when im going for an s-rank, and the enemy ai ends up summarily executing their buddy

To be fair, it’s not like it’s super common for it to occur

For the Due Process achievement, go play 23 megabytes mission. Its bugged and hard to get, you can do it solo and in practise mode (or quick play as of now). When you spawn, go right and up the stairs to the top, get in and use pepper ball rifle to tie the suspects, then place the suspect behind the door and from the other side put c2 and blow. Do it I think twice and if it still wont unlock pick up the suspect and toss him (right mouse click) around. Thats how I got it

For the Magician its just luck, I think you can blow door with c2 and if they are behind door theres a chance that they will fake it when they get down.
For the Fool go to mission Valley of the Dolls and when you enter the door right in front of you, in rooms on the left should be a woman in white dress, dont yell for her to go down, just go close to her and she will start to punch you, after few punches you are dead. Goodluck

I don’t know much about DMR’s, the simplest thing that I know is that they’re usually just a battle rifle that is I guess made for a marksman’s role

The PDW term is a confusing class of weapons to really put weapons and even the definition itself, which is another can of peaches

There’s obviously different opinions, but in my opinion…

PDW is a compact weapon that is supposed to be used by a irregular soldier that’s unlikely to see combat but needs a weapon to do so in self-defense hence why they’re called personal defense weapons

There’s also four different types that I I know of

A PDW is basically just a SMG or a very short Assault rifle made for personal defence instead of offence

as far as i know its just a player skin, so go to multiplayer then loadout, then customisation, and click on character, and at the bottom of the dropdown menu you should see ECHO and then three different names, they are characters wearing balaclavas

ive gotten it to sometimes work outside of multiplayer, but its not consistent enough to have a method

yep, the beanbag is technicly less lethal, a headshot will kill. but the beanbag will always stun the enemy.
the vks cannot kill, and has an area of effect, at the cost of not always working. (also it does nothing to suspects with gasmasks)

I wouldn’t necessarily look at it as a negative way, sometimes huge companies have funding issues or technical detailing is an issue. There’s always a reason for why things don’t exactly go to plan and I’m sure the devs are aware of this. If you have any feedback backed knowledge you would like to share with them I’m sure they would encourage your ideas.

I suspect a lot of the issues (besides them walking away randomly) are caused by the devs having to nerf the SWAT* AI a bit. They went crazy before and were death machines, and I suspect a lot of it now is them trying to make them a bit more tame but useful. Like ignoring commands I suspect is some code saying don't do this if you feel a threat nearby/see one, working a bit too much.

most of the SWAT AI is following preset positioning/stacking/movement that is laid out in the map editor

The AI is only good for working one quadrant at a time. Which is what they are programmed for. So as long as you're issuing commands for them to work every threshold (as you should be), the SWAT AI are gods
