are you using goggles, gas masks, nvgs, etc? because i had to get rid of them to be able to get the achievement. Use the "helmet only" option. Carry as little as possible, no wedges, grenades or anything at all. Just take the revolver ammo with you. Switch to the revolver as soon as the mission starts, and don't use the shield or any long tactical equipment. Kick locked doors to open them. You can give SWAT AI whatever you want tho (iirc)

found a fix, if this happens to you go to secondary or primary, switch to another gun and then switch back to the same gun you were using so when it resets your illuminator, you can change it to flashlight or laser sight, it worked for me with secondaries as well

This is caused by having outdated mods, it seems that the crash menu delete mods option does not work 100% of the time. For now, manually delete ALL mods below.

1. Right click the game on Steam, click "manage", then open local files

2. Click and open ReadyorNot > Content > Paks

3. There are 21 core files with "pakchunk#windows" 0-20, do not touch these.

4. Delete anything (including the mod.io folder) that is not one of the 21 files.

5. Verify the game files

6. Launch the game

It plays a bit more like swat 3 in terms of suspects being quite aggressive and arresting them gets less frequent in the harder levels. But it has the general style of Swat 4 for the most part

Which is alright cause the guns are very satisfying to use, but also a bit meh cause suspects dont have the same level of unpredictability as swat 4
and you will have to rely a lot on grenades and less lethals just to get arrests on suspects
the level designs are much larger and sometimes open which has its ups and downs

Same thing happened to me, I removed all the mods and deleted the modio folder, verified and it still happened, the only fix was actually choosing the launch option to delete all mod and save data. After I did that it worked even putting the mods back in (assuming yours are up to date of course)

That's not how vsync works. All it does is sync the refresh rate of your display to the FPS you get in game because screen tearing is just when a frame renders before the previous frame finishes. it has nothing to do with FPS itself. It's all about when your GPU renders
