My rec is to full playthrough vanilla no mods and no cheese. It will put you on the edge of your seat. Once you do that try to perfect the missions and go crazy with mods

If you are using mod manager I think it can mess up with mods sometimes, but map mods? not certain.
I just know sometimes manual is the better option for certain mods.

The knife AI is laughable. Your melee does not stun them and get them off of you, and they're always so close that I cant fire my gun. Why can I not push my gun against my attacker and pull the trigger? Why am I subjected to sit here and allow the AI to stab and slash at me repeatedly without being able to do much about it?

I run a few mods, one changing my health to 1000 so I can just focus on having a good time without worry about dying. Why is it that in the minute and a half it took of the AI slashing me, there wasn't a single thing I could have done to save myself? I meleed them to no avail, and tried shooting my firearm multiple times. I tried to stop my bleeding numerous times so I could do something, ANYTHING to save myself. Nothing.

This game's AI is detestable.

But highly recommend gas as none of the suspects have masks and there are some tight hotel rooms

How come AI officers are laser accurate against the player and 1 shot you if they hit you even if you give them beanbag shotguns and pepperballs? I am trying to kill my teammates but nothing I do can get past the first 2.
