Set your Shader Cache Size to 10GB, it's done in your system drive so that would be your fast NVMe, play the game on DX12, do some tweaks that are pinned on Steam Discussions and play some games and your performance will be better. My config isn't a miracle machine. Try things to make the game run okay and enjoy the game not stuttering as bad as what you've shown in the 2 YouTube videos, instead of shaking your fist and raising torches and pitchforks about how shit it is.

Yes, that's ideal. Doesn't mean by having the shaders cached as you've played some levels will not make your performance better. Shader compilation is literally one of the things coming next update according to their 69th briefing, which I pasted here. So until then you either play on DX12, get the shaders compiled and be good or just shut up, because NONE of this matters if you're not willing to do 2-3 simple things to make your experience better.

I gave you proof about it and you didn't even watch the video you were asking for so much, but instead talk about how I dismiss problems of others. I started the recording in the menu, the only stutters there are were at the initial spawn in the station and the mission. After 5 seconds on either one of those, I was solid as a rock. And that's apparently not good enough for you.

I agree. But it can still run good and the tweaks do work. Bad optimization is a plague all around other games, but Ready Or Not isn't as bad as other examples and most of all, you have the option to do some tweaks to make it better. Might seen tedious, but it's better than sitting with a game and not having any option to improve it, than a bad PC port being patched or some game like Squad that got so bad that it reached a point where their bigger updates until the Infantry rework were all about optimization because people couldn't do anything to make it better in that game. And me coming from TF2 as my first big FPS game, TF2 just doesn't run unless you do stuff with console commands and CFGs, and that's why tweaks are really just a non-issue for me.
Still, if a game has bad optimization but it can be mitigated by tweaks, then the choice is do the tweaks and see what happens or just deal with bad performance.

Anyway, I did the video, didn't take anything out of my day to do it, I feel like we're on a common ground of sorts, I won't bother with this anymore. Apostate will, but I think they're just sparking up shit for the fun of it, so whatever.

Content updates are very slow, optimization leaves things to be desired, AI behavior is made to have different reactions to make them unpredictable and clever but they don't actually work like that until they're modded, VOID interactive has a very delayed response to requests and their communication leaves things to be desired and they removed some features from the Early Access when they did the v1.0 release

Not to say Ready Or Not is a bad game, it's fun as hell and a very good tactical shooter. But even when I'm mostly an advocate of Ready Or Not, I still don't think it's worth 50 bucks.

Ready Or Not is a big improvement on SWAT 4, it handles really good, the SWAT AI is better than SWAT 4, but suspects aren't as immersive as SWAT 4 and there's also a very big lack of personality for your swat team. So you can say that Ready Or Not improves a lot on SWAT 4 in the practical and cosmetic side of things, but atmosphere is lacking in comparison to SWAT 4.

Well, you've got 4 specific people and each one of them has more voicelines than what we have in SWAT 4, and with that comes a much more avid personality than anything in Ready Or Not at all. TOC also has more reactions to reports and some of them are unique to objectives on specific maps. Like in one mission where you find graves in a building and Boss (the player) reports it with a less protocol-sounding report voice line and some emotion and you can hear TOC reply late to his actual radio broadcast, which he never does otherwise.

It entirely depends on how it's handled. I don't think SWAT 4 had too many of those wise-cracks or more somber voice lines. Because SWAT 4 both has a little humor about some things, but most of the voicelines I remember were human and slightly emotional, than some cheap wisecrack in a serious scenario.

Yes, that's a problem. Which is why Commander should be a secondary mode and just have the standard order of missions as the main campaign. If they actually add more things to make it feel like a progressing campaign, then even better. Adding bits of humanity to SWAT officers in-between long bouts of robotic tactical procedures is both an unintrusive change and I think a good change. Just don't make it inappropriate or tacky, like that one guy who goes "Okay, let's be honest. Which one have you watched ?" when they're in Voll's bedroom studio, where you LITERALLY HAVE TAPES OF CHILDREN BEING FILMED IN PORN. Like... that's so fucking tone-deaf.

I've been playing cs since 2015. The cheating problem has gotten worse in cs2 compared to csgo, there are more people cheating rn and valve is doing ban waves slowly.

There has been multiple cheaters since February I've ran into that still aren't banned atm. That were spinbotting. Even on my own team when Ive solo queued it turned into a cheater vs cheater lobby once.
