Before 1.0 you could choose whatever available mode for any map, now you can't because there's been an overhaul of the missions and the mission selection system.

Practice mode now needs progression and commander mode is just practice mode but with extra officer traits.

I would like to open a discussion here about the location of the hostages, like when finishing the "order to chaos" objective, the game could have an option to highlight their body or put an animation/sound where the hostage shouts their position ("help me, I'm here, the sound of crying, I want my parents..."), because many of the times they are surrendered and quiet, taking almost twice as long to locate it on the map, well I always see this problem in the game.

Another discussion is about whether people are ready or not visible to everyone in the game waiting room, because they almost always don't know who still needs to press Y to start the game.

This is a summary of my 1400 hours of play.
I don't know if you guys have been exposed to it, but I saw certain people also out of hobby want to go through this game to give CQB teaching explanation knowledge sharing to interested players. Then I would like to say that it would be nothing, but they think that the severe teaching pressure test can effectively guide the trainees to learn. Even they abused and blamed the trainees for their various mistakes and errors. I was once a victim of this, but when I came in contact with a real police officer who gave me a knowledge lecture then I really got an understanding of all this
I had a clear understanding but still couldn't get over my reluctance to socialize anymore. Those players hit me so hard.

To put it simply, Ready or Not does not have a concept of dedicated servers. you connect to someone's computer using Steam Data Relay, a networking tunnel Valve uses to connect players together in P2P and even to their own servers, especially in their own IPs

yeah, commander is only different in that it has an xcom style squad management mechanic that's really underdeveloped right now so you just have your whole team get stressed out about shooting back at criminals who shot at them

so you basically have to send them to therapy which means they're unavailable for one "turn", and go redo an early mission non-lethal in the meantime

sometimes several times in a row
gets old real fast

its possible that your laptop doesn't meet the minimum required specs to run it. but try verifying game files and trying to launch it again. if that doesn't work, go for a clean reinstall and delete the entire Ready or Not folder before reinstalling

The voice channel regions are set to their respective regions (US #x is somewhere in US and EU #x is somewhere in Europe). Same applies to the OCE servers.

Nothing prohibits people from different continents from playing together, it's just that the voice channels are set up that way.

you can get away with having most settings on ultra and some on high if you want 60 fps
