They said a while ago that they'd add in-game maps to the ATAK system, but it would vary map to map. I think the example they gave was a rushed scenario would have writing on a napkin, or for example hotel would have inaccurate floor plans due to its age

my problem is I dont remember the briefings ever mentioning maps being inconsistant with the true layout or anything. So it kinda leaves players assuming its 100% accurate and can be confusing

I expected the maps to be inconsistant but was thrown off guard since the briefings never allude to the maps being unreliable, which a police briefing should definitely touch up on. I caught on instantly, but I imagine other players unfamiliar with something like SWAT 4 would very easily get confused

the briefings to me felt they sometimes would say a lot, but nothing actual valuable that they would reasonably know that the player and entry team SHOULD know

I started using them when the maps got larger
I only really noticed it on Sins of the father since theres a few rooms that are different to on the map and a missing hallway

well a simple way would be to format the briefings in a similar manner. Starting with the background of the situation. Then info about the civilans/suspects present, assumptions or hard info on what kinda gear they have stuff like that, the layout of the building weather the map can be 100% trusted or not + any additional information the entry team should know

like on sins they could mention how the floor plans they have are outdated, and the floors have had a few renovations through the years so it might not line up 100%

also another thing, Dealer just has no map at all. Despite having been under investigation prior to the mission with two detectives undercover there. I think a layout of the building would be known to some extent

But even if there is straight up no map. The briefing should mention they dont have one and why, and warns you that you're gonna have to go in blind.
Its all information that adds a lot and would be vital in a real swat operation

i didnt have these issues on pre 1.0 versions of the game

but im on the latest build and i got hella stutter issues...
cant go 5 seconds without freezing for 0.5 seconds

i checked everything on my end, no mem clock drops, no core clock drops, etc. (also not being thermal throttled and this isnt an overall framerate issue, i get 125-150 fps average on max graphics and it varies depending on if i have dlss on)

do we have any insight into why this is happening, perhaps other users are having the same issues post-release?

4. Be transparent about their finances. So many copies sold of the base game (not taking into account SE) and they need 2 DLCs 2 months after full release?
5. When you do a full release, I expect the game to be in a fully-tested, QA/QC-approved state that doesn't require 4 hotfixes within the first 2 months, especially when the main issue is performance.
6. I don't agree with the way the current roster and stress systems work, but this is solvable through mods.

   How exactly does this excuse an unfinished full release full of bugs and issues? You can make a properly tested full release and support the game through continual updates.

8. Work on SWAT AI's responses to threats.
9. Properly dynamic suspect and civilian AI responses past a few different animations played. Actual complexity and decision making in the moment that makes you think twice about your actions. This was addressed in vol. 69 of bi-weekly briefings, so that's nice.
10. Customization of settings such as where the fucking gun stays on my screen, hotkeys actually remaining saved.
11. Release a proper mod SDK.

There's no bar showcasing how many civilians/suspects/soft objectives are left on the map (especially on your first time playing). You are thrown out of the mission once all objectives are complete, so you don't get an option to explore the map actually freely.

The story is very barebones, the events are just barely connected to each other. Each mission feels completely separate from the previous one. Each map and suspect spawn can be given certain parameters from my knowledge, there are flags like "IsImmuneToBangs" and "IsImmuneToGas" or "HasArmor", etc. you can even see theese on the AI mod generator
