Steel is fine with full coverage now since they reduce acceleration penalty
with recent patch, its almost same speed to ceramic
unless you take heavy with full coverage
then that starts to feel of a difference
but steel with front and back isnt that far off from ceramic front and back
but if you add sides then ye there is a slight diff
0.48 seconds to gain top speed without armor or with only kevlar
0.56 seconds with full coverage ceramic
1.04 seconds with full coverage steel.
0.58 seconds with front only steel.
0.75 seconds with front/back steel
.5 for front only ceramic right

One thing I've noticed about this game is that it sorta overdoes it with the recoil with some guns

Most 5.56's I've shot do not recoil as much as their RoN equivalents
and the MP5A2 in the game has more recoil than its real life equivalent in full auto
One of the guns I have no clue what its called again G4a16? fuck if I know it has a khaki barrel I hate that gun its recoil feels unnatural
What The A2 had a lot of in my experience was horizontal recoil, it liked pulling off to the left but it had no vertical recoil
and balancing it to give it more "Natural" recoil ain't even the issue considering when the enemies are going full auto are able to absolutely decimate you from afar
Like during the hotel mission one of our guys literally got shot and killed at the stairs from a guy at a window from afar
we were still outside and he managed to hit that from like atleast a good 40m out or more
I haven't shot a piston AR yet so I can't really say for certain but considering 5.56 feels very soft and smooth to shoot, I'd have to agree
all of them, I have better recoil control than he characters with the same guns

Straight out of known issues somewhere posted in September. It's December now, got back in the game after not playing for quite a few months. I have these issues lol. Well the bullet casings at the very least, didn't even get on a mission cuz the frame rate was basically a slideshow
Dunno wtf happened since the prior time I played, it was all just fine but now I'd say it's unplayable with this frame rate alone
I've never had frame issues on RoN so you sure that's not just you? Only real issue I've seen is the floating casings.

Some options in game are bugged, if you have something disabled it's still can be enabled and vise versa. Same thing with graphics mode, you have it on performance but in fact it's using fidelity

pepperballs are straight Dookie they're so Inconsistant at times atleast if I hit a beanbag (and there not any wacky shenanigans going on) it should stun the person on the spot

Mine don't, try to reset all binds to default, then change to how you want them avoid the clear button when rebinding

Don't worry it looks scary since you never done it, but it's actually easy, takes longer downloading the actual mod than putting it in the correct directory
I think I used it like twice if I remember correctly
once for mafia, lost my save there when I tried to uninstall it, the other time for doom eternal and that one worked alright
then they added official mod support for doom so I didn't have to use it anymore
Never tried it for the mafia games, maybe it's like how it was in the old ground branch way when it still didn't have a steam workshop, you sometimes had to delete the original games files and replace with mods and then if you remove the mod you need to put back the original file or else it gets corrupted.

first I thought I was tweaking or something so I switched to jhp bullets since they should be more effective against unarmored targets but they're still able to tank one shot
on hard i would prefer a more controllable rifle, since both 5.56/.300/7.62 take 2 shots

I usually run gpnvgs for open maps and normal nvgs for smaller ones like twisted nerve

i kinda hate the tunnel vision on the nvgs so i just go with gpnvgs and sometimes i also hate the gpnvgs and prefer a flashlight
the tunnel vision is fine I think, but the lower fov is what does it for me

If I remember right I had 2 AI with pepperballs, and 2 with m32
i mostly prefered going solo, with AI i had to baby sit them and lose focus on suspects not to mention suspects seemed to get way more stressed with swat Ai present but when I had the swat AI, i went with either beanbag myself and them with m32a1 or all of us with m32a1
AI with pepperballs are pretty good actually
I gave mine beanbags instead of pepperballs
When I flash, they shoot anyone who not fully complied
they seem to be better than with beanbags, cos they rapid fire it, but ever since the m32 flash was released, ijust gave them the m32 instead of pepperball rifle
they dont headshot anymore I'm pretty sure that got patched
