Laser light combo wont save the game
The laser light combo has been available for atleast 2 years. hybrid sights 1 year thanks to modders. The devs have been holding out on those things to say it the next big thing instead of giving us content/fixing the game

honestly my main problem with ron isnt all of the downgrades from the console update, the overpriced dlc, or even the lack of updates. its the game has zero art derection, or atmosphere to it. have you ever walked around the lspd headquarters and realized how dead it is? you'd think there's civillians in there filing reports, journalists around the headquarters after the shooting that took place just moments ago outside etc
and now the graphics have been downgraded, all of the character and grit have been taken out the game, and everything looks washed out. especially on neon tomb

in my opinion i like it, having at least a optic and underbarrel is essential, you can have a laser or flashlight eqquipped, but that dosent mean you have to use it all the time, the flashlight is espically helpful for signalling to your teammates, and laser + IR helps in your canted stance, but its up to preference
in my opinion you should definetly take advantage of the attachments, their helpful
What makes me unconfortable, is that I will have to bind another key far away so I don't push it unintentionnally

and scopes also since irl swat in the US do often use magnifiers and laser/flashlight slapped on the firearm

Iâm ready or not the suspects weaponry is usually unrealistic and makes no sense logically or lore wise but in their case I can definitely see how they sourced said firearms, however they are far too precise with it
To be honest, the Spider Organisation is rather stingy with its own people. They supply Los Locos with top-notch weapons, yet they themselves still use outdated submachine guns like the M76.
Playing on hard and being accurately suppressed from more angles actually feels like MG elements have established SBF positions like in a real operation
I finally cleared Hard S on base missions......
My question is, are the Russian suspects present on Port Hokan âofficialâ members or are they guns-for-hire or expandable grunts
If the latter is true then it could probably make sense as to why they would be improperly equipped

The car dealership is largely a mix of Russians and Los Locos. The port, meanwhile, is almost entirely dominated by Eastern European accents.

I could say that about swat4 but Ron is so solved. Its ai behaves the same each and every time. Nothing changes between matches and hell even the maps donât feel nearly different enough.
It lost steam for me before I even got to play all the maps let alone replay them 100 times

Join the club. Itâs by design. We have told void on a number of occasions but they havenât attempted to fix it. They only seem to flip flow between too easy or too hard while maintaining the same broken system.
This time they said fuck it and added a difficulty system. Probably put ai tuning in the too hard basket.
Which is fair, the ai needs a full ground up rework because of how many of the issues are just hard coded

Swat 4 is per npc vs RoNâs 1 brain for suspects approach. You can tweak per level but not per npc

RoN just needs more animations, One of the dumbest decisions was making the "fake surrender" animation different then the normal surrender animations, meaning that you can just read the animation to predict them.

In swat 4 Fairfax will typically go down easily but in Ron itâs the typical scenario of cracked ex military dude whoâs suicidal
He will shoot at you but the moment you push he folds
No one in Ron acts like that and even custom mappers canât bash the ai to acting like that

Yea but loadout presets are contained within a file that includes a bunch of other data and it's not a file you can really edit and removing it would erase a bunch of other data. They're located here: %localappdata%\ReadyOrNot\Saved\SaveGames

guys i beat all missons in singleplayer on standard with s rank and unlocked all cosmetics but medal of valor achivement is stuck at 16 out of 18

i believe the games achievements are kinda bugged

Iâd recommend bringing NVGs for some of the darker areas ; or if you prefer you could just bring a flashlight and thatâd work just fine as well. I find wedges really useful on that mission but thatâs all up to the way you like to play !
Because it allows you to essentially lock all the suspects in one building while you take care of the other one (a big garage)
Thatâs just one approach though, you could always start with the dealership itself and then clear the big garage at the end !
Also, itâs not visible for some suspects but make sure to bring AP rounds since they do wear armor
me personally i work the main building after wedging off all its exist barring my entrypoint and the garage door, then i move out into the parking lot while using wedges to cover openings and move into the garage last
does it necessarily matter what guns i use in the mission cause right now iâm using the sa-58 and the fiveseven pistol
as long as you can make hits any weapon is fine
i would avoid anything less than a 5.56 for longer ranges though
the sa-58 is perfectly capable for everything this game has
Honestly guns rarely ever DO matter, itâs only the caliber. Battle rifles like the SA-58 will.. Destroy anything on your path LMFAO but 5.56 guns are just fine as well
bonus of the sa-58 is it sounds a lot more violent than literally any other weapon

All missions can be difficult on the first attempts while you still get used to the level design and the AI ; but I wouldnât call it a difficult map by any means

when i did the levels again for s rank and i knew the layout they went very very smoothly compared to the first run

Do you use steel or ceramic armor? Personally, I use ceramic front/back on me and front/back steel on AI. Which is better
I personally use ceramic armor since steel makes you WAY too slow and occasionally taking damage from it is pretty annoying : the AI matches your speed no matter what armor they wear, so you may as well give them full steel
Plus, you canât take friendly fire from steel armor, so itâs one less thing to worry about

god this mission is a bit of a headache
I'm rarely even hit hard enough to torso to break my ceramic plates. I can't remember if I died even once because of no protection on torso. Most of the damage taken is from my limbs
Enemies rarely ever go for your torso, honestly
