c2 just really has 0 usecases i don't think I've ever used it myself and only seen a teamate use it like maybe half a dozen times at most

there's never anyone who's actually close enough to get afflicted by it and it's too inconvenient to set up and just makes the entire map stressed compared to just like using a ram/shotgun/opening the door

It affects suspect morale, stuns or kill suspects near it and can blow traps without needing to do the awkward shuffle of inching towards the door to defuse the trap

I also discovered meleeing with the taser actually allowes you to also tase people too and cause them to freeze up as well

Looking at steam reviews i see that ever since the console release they have been "poo" from the reviews. But i dont see why they cant do like another game i play "Ghosts of Tabor" Where they can downgrade for quest headsets but keep the quality for the PCVR users, i dont see why they cant do that but instead have to downgrade for everybody?

it means i can just front man for free and if you stay quiet you catch people off guard you can just rush them with shield to exert more pressure so they'll drop their gun without needing to use any resources but if it comes down to it you can just shoot them if they don't wanna drop it and it's just more secure to go on with shield as front man if you already have a guy with a ram/mirror/launcher

shield did get nerfed a ton when they removed shield tazer though which was annoying

The one issue with the shield personally is that I'd use it kind of as a crutch ? So my aim would be unfortunately off 💀

It's been better since I ditched it and honestly I'm glad cause the M203, Breach Shotty and Mirror gun are great too

If they wanted to make missions harder for player retention why not increase the amount of suspects, make them more prone and reactive to the decisions the player takes, make them less compliant, etc. the simple “well make it harder by making it unplayable” is a really really bad implementation

They do have different AI skill levels that vary depending on the NPCs present in said mission and their faction but it barely feels like there’s any difference at all, apart from the veterans LOVING to flank you since they have maximum skill but in terms of accuracy, there’s really not enough variation i would say

20 base game missions and each dlc adds another 3 and there’s 2 DLC’s out atm so a total of 26 maps. A 3rd dlc is coming next year and will likely follow same pattern of 3 maps so it will be 29 maps then.

As for custom ones there are plenty of modded ones but few are up to date atm due to some issues with game design and what not. But that community does exist

Trying to complete hard with randoms feels near impossible (especially without launcher), I wish they would tune it down a little
