It really depends on what you enjoy. RON has for me, very little content. That doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy the game and don’t play it, but I have been speedrunning levels now instead. I would suggest if you want to get good content out of the game, don’t google anything. Keep your head in the sand, and figure everything out on your own. There are some things that once known trivialize the game in my opinion.

Try to corner the suspects if at all possible, everyone screaming at them makes it more likely to force a surrender

The hardest part is going to be the open area in front of the warehouse, and the open areas in the warehouse itself

Make sure your homies bring like 6+ flashes minimum

Flash every door, short and long if you have the flashes for it

Flash to stun when you're at long range so you can close in with taser

Yes, S rank doesnt particularly mean you HAVE to use less lethal, but unless you want a much higher chance of the suspects not dying, then yes. For S rank, no one, not even a single person has to die, not SWAT AI, not civilians, not suspects. You need to get all soft objectives, no penalties what so ever.

Unless you have the supporter edition, which you can no longer purchase, you wont get any of the official released FISA/HRT cosmetics or weapons.

The .308 weapons feel underpowered as hell. I soley run 7.62 x 51 battle rifles IRL, the PTR A3S/PDW9 and ar-10 to be exact. I can assure you that people are going down in 1-2 hits to the body (of course 1 to the head, duh, especially at the ranges presented in RON, helmet or not.) I may not be the most accurate in game, but the weapons feel bland and exactly similar to .300blk and 5.56 weapons. Additionally, the optics get in the way too much when canting the weapon and just using the laser, especially the ELCAN Specter and the LPVO offerings. I think the .308 needs to be beefier, recoil is pretty real life similar, and the canting needs to be adjusted for the weapon to be slightly lower and the setups of the optics to be less intrusive

OK SO, Using my ar-10 with lpvo, looked down canted and I think the optic just needs a slightly reduced size in game. Yes my left hand peripherals are reduced but not entirely blocked. I also use a side anlge grip irl and can assure it also helps verticle recoil control and weapon ready speed.

EDIT 2: Make it so you dont have the massive fov zoom when canting the weapon with the LPVO? Would help a lot

A bit more in depth customisation would be good, like actually being able to manually colour your gear from a colour cube ik it'd take away from the seriousness of the game but being able to have some more personality would be cool you could even make it a gameplay element out of it by colouring your gear similar to the levels colour scheme and being able to camo youtself

Use c2 and if one of the suspects on the other side of the door is close enough they'll get incapacitated
