thankfully you only have to S rank it once and then you can go back to blowing his head open
at some point yes,but theres some glitches when you cant understand if suspect is surrendered or not,plus some of the AI can use more advanced tactics like regroup,or even callout when you are reloading

If you hit head if you hit body and no bullets hurt now mod you will have your legs turned into baked beans

I made a custom AI mod that basically reduced their HP. Unarmored 7.62 to the chest was an instant kill, 5.56 was instantly incapacitated and 2 9mm made dropped them incapacitated

-Remake the AI: Make it less aggressive and with some sense of self-preservation. Tweak the insane accuracy and tracking. Maybe make 2 settings, one as it is and a more down to earth one.
-S+ runs where noone in your team gets injured and you don't kill anyone.
-Make NVG's not clip with gasmasks.
-Optimize the game. Just that.

The last achievement for Dark Waters. It's pretty much impossible, you have to incapacitate or apprehend 15 suspects with no longer than 15 second breaks between them. I really don't think this achievement is possible, and if it was succesfully playtested then VOID must have some of the best gamers in the world on their team.
Either that, or there is a secret way of getting it that we haven't figured out yet
does it count if you stack them up whilest ziptied with your crew ai dead and then shoot the suspects or is that just a free way too get trialed for 15 war crimes?
I havenāt played the update yet. That sounds awesome tho. I really hope they do this kind of stuff for other missions, like maybe the recon chopper added to port hokan or something

I have absolutely no idea how to do this, especially since all of the suspects obviously won't spawn that close to each other. The only way this achievement is possible would be if you somehow got 15 suspects in the same place, and all would give up (and not stand back up to kill you while you're tying up the others)
It makes visually tracking my team for multiple rooms easier.

i run shields on blue and a breach shotty and a mirror on blue
its really a big rng,in some rooms i had them stacked in area,but they hit you hard

The rng would have to be absolutely insane, and it's not the only factor.
- The map is large, with lots of open areas
- Even if you go non-lethal it takes a few seconds or more for them to give up
- You move really slowly for a shooter, and just going through a clear hall will screw up your attempt
One has a scar, one has a 416, one has a 1014, one has a mcx
1911 is a grandpa the 92 is a dad the glock is a 20 year old and the revolver is a burried skeleton

It's literally the best armor.
Blocks damage fully, doesn't fragmentate like steel. The only downside is that it will break, but if you are getting shot at enough to get it completely broken then you're playing the game wrong
Also can we have the hurt leg mechanic back? Like if you walk while your legs are shot/broken then your screen has like blur effects while you walk, but you can walk at full speed?
of course,and to mention rng depends on your deployment point if im not wrong,but i dont really know if its necessary to go non lethal,in that case i just use more slots mod and take huge amounts of gas nades so you can cover this areas

Hard completion only triggers automatically if you have done literally everything you can do. Secured all evidence, secured the dead suspects and civilians, and completed soft objectives
Soft completion activates when you just complete the main objectives, and you will get the pop up asking you if you want to debrief

they dont take place in chronological order, the club shooting and hospital attack were almost immediately after the gas station

@warped cave to give you an idea:
- port hokan is the last chronological base mission, it occurs in 2026 during the hurricane landfall
- the day after, narcos takes place right in the aftermath
- following this, lawmaker, then dorms
- a year after the events of lawmaker, rig takes place. not sure about the other two but they all occur around the same time
it very clearly states somewhere in the briefing how the events lead up to the rig; might be under the suspects tab
something somewhere in the mission details for rig it states how the UPF came to be raiding an oil rig
just remembered i have yet to see the new evidence

protip: if a map feels like a maze, use the map in the mission briefing to gain your bearings, its alot easier to section stuff off with wedges when you know where everything is

there was 1 insider on the rig that we know of who was fooled into thinking they wouldnt kill anyone, he gave them access and you can find that log in the kitchen on an open laptop
The attack on the rig is on 10/21/27, Lawmaker is on 02/19/2026, it is more than one and half a year

How do we know if it did or didn't? We'd have to know when the rig was built. It is said to be new, but it may not be brand new, it may have been around during Lawmaker, it may have been completed later. My point was that before I knew the dates, I thought the attack on the rig was like a few days or weeks after Lawmaker

Does heavy armor do anything for front protection? One guy I played with told me it only helps with side protection
heavy vest covers your shoulders
It adds side protection, and I'm pretty sure it covers your arms as well. That side protection is nothing to scoff at too

I'd say heavy armor is worth it, especially if you're using Gunfighter because it negates the slot limitations

light armour also have 25 slots w gunfighter

The 2 extra slots helps if you play vanilla
Your priority is the prince, not the civs or other suspects
If using gunfighter just use heavy I guess
I've had good luck skipping over any bodies and such and immediatly going for the prince, almost always in or near one room

Usually the upper levels, but he is slippery and moves, even if you confront him
Yeah, and because Gunfighter makes them both have 25 slots I honestly don't see a reason why you shouldn't go with heavy. The speed difference is not that big
around pilot deck, sometimes lower on outside areas, your chopper will spot him easily
Also how useful has pepper ball guns been as of recent? Stopped playing with it at one point but someone says its gotten better
It's quite random I even found him in engine bay once
Pepper balls are useless, go with beanbag but be careful not to hit the head

Yes itās true. Also I think if his henchmen spot you and get away theyāll find him, speeding up the kill order. Sometimes we would play the level for like 10 minutes creeping around and nothing would happen and other times people would start getting shot after like 3 minutes.
I guess stingers have more range too.

Beanbag just works faster, the only upside of pepperball is that you really have to go out of your way to kill someone - but pepperball also affects you if you don't have a gas mask, and suspects sometimest just straight up ignore it, you have to dump an entire mag for them to give up. Best less lethal option is the taser, but it has really low ammo. If you really want to go less lethal then go with beanbag, as it's most effective.
But if you really don't want to go less lethal but still want that evidence, then get No Mercy For Terrorists mod. It makes it so you can kill suspects, and as long as you follow the RoE and don't screw up, you should get an S rank
But if there are obstacles in the way it works worse than a flashbangs would, so it all depends on the environment

When will balaclavas be added to single player? People have been asking for them to be accessible in single player for months but void interactive have not addressed this issue ever since.
Hey it's been a while since I played the game, and as of since September to today, has there been any AI improvements? I just wanted to hear from the community's opinion on it.
I don't think balaclavas for sp should be a priority tbh, maybe let players turn the gang in quick play into balaclava wearers, but I don't see the rush for Judge when the game has no mirrors

they are in singleplayer, only in quick play not commander.

The new DLC is awesome. The maps are really fun, and I absolutely love the new guns, especially the m14 and g3. The ROE feels a little too strict though. A guy was pointing a shotgun at my face after I shouted at him, then I got dinged for shooting him. A couple of ROE sandbox settings for multiplayer and free play would be nice for being able to run and gun with friends without having get dinged for shooting terrorists
How come regardless of if I chose the green phosphorus or white phosphorus for NVGs it always shows as green for me when I use it?
it's known issue/bug if your playing multiplayer only the host choose, you need to make your own lobby and select it

They have stun animations, if you keep tasering, peppering, beanbagging, etc., he won't have the chance to leave the animation to swap over to surrendering

Hey looking for some help on bugged achivment got the watch for the hermit but did not get either of the two iornman mode achivments the world, the hermit? trying to figure out if there bugged

The Hermit is a basegame achievement, it does not rely on the DLCs

I take pauses in between every attempt to make them surrender with non lethal equipment and my gameplay just consists of "GET DOWN" "I'm not throwing everything I have away" "DOWN ON YOUR KNEES" "Not me" "LET ME SEE THOSE HANDS" "DROP THE WEAPON AND PUT YOUR HANDS UP" and every other yell for compliance voiceline. After a short unskippable dialogue cutscene with the suspect I go back to using non lethal equipment to try to make them surrender and they don't.

yeah SWAT AI changes in 1.0 were pretty good but their combat was still barebones and overall their AI has been worse
I especially need a shield buff for AI the fact that my shield man is usually 1st to die just because he decides to full sprint into a guy unloading a 18round mag and somehow not killing him lol
Honestly for me after 1.0 I was loving the swat AI I genuinely wasnt having like any problems except for sum minor ones but after home invasion I feel like I have the AI that ppl have been complaning about
SWAT AI really need another overhaul or a patch to fix major problems of them and maybe again another overhaul to improvement past 1.0 SWAT AI overhaul features and finally make their combat better instead of charging head on and standing mindlessly.

Havent played this game in like 6 months in which it was 'good' but goddayum this is a friggen blast! Just shot 2 civvies in 1st mission Gas Station because Suspects had grabbed them while still shooting at me - didnt know that was a thing. only thing id like is a little less suppression blur in firefights as id really like to see my area clearly -the bullets and richochets etc are enough to keep me suppressd -dont need the overdone visual halo. Also, id like to see suspects really move from cover to cover more but overall its great. Also the really slow burn surrenders -i thought the guy was cracked out on bath salts the way he slowly lowered to the ground like a zombie
yeah the game for now is pretty good except the Suspect AI which is still kinda broken and unrealistic but I hope they finally fix it in an update

I can try but I think it would be easier to do it in commander mode. Get 3 Negotiators and 1 intimadator on a squad and it is comically easy to get suspects to give up. I have S ranked DLC missions with lethal kit by sheer accident.

very good maps, enjoyed all of them gameplay-wise even if they were a bit tedious the first time around. Elysian wasn't amazing and I feel like leviathan could have used more tense music similar to the one in the trailer
They need to fix the bugs like cancelling arrests that makes suspects stuck in place & they canāt shoot nor surrender. They just respond with Iām not gonna do that (Nuh Uh)
Same for guns phasing through the floor or ending up thrown to near impossible to find positions
i like oilrig ost because it got 2 beats that are using machinery sound,it fits so well in drill room and its not a usual step for theme,but yeah the tense parts are not so long

guns aren't terribly hard to find on most maps if you have the yellow outline toggled in the settings with the exception of Elysian and maybe some other maps I don't remember

I only played the map twice but I imagine the best strat is to spawn at the docks on multiplsyer and split up between the top and bottom floor

Takes up an important slot... I've never once in nearly two years playing heard of a standard pick alerting any enemies. The extra time is really a non-factor unless you're under fire, and if you are, picking a lock really shouldn't be a priority

I did move and clear, and red team went down the fucking staircase into a massive fucking kill room on the hotel map and got themselves fucked up like a bunch of clowns. Super fucking stupid

They got a hostage killed, because they went down and one of the suspects took a hostage, one of them died and they failed me the entire run because they decided that "Oh looky. This staircase is a GREAT idea to run down with no support, into a big fuck off room full of bad guys and the main congregation of suspects"
Sorry for whining, but that's super frustrating and makes the whole move and clear command a complete liability, which is why I never use it and just take point every time into every room
I wanted them to just clear the dang hallway, not go running down an entire floor when there was an entire hallway to clear into a hot zone

The missions feel well designed and laid out. Not too big. Not too small. Complicated enough to be tactically interesting but not too much to be a nightmare to play. Better suspect AI makes for a better experience.
They basically feel like they took the right lessons from the base game and the first dlc to make a better second dlc

tf am I supposed to clear Elephant? I'm rushing like a mofo, soft clearing rooms, no nades just raw dogging it, battering ram, having AI clear entire hallways. But I always only make it through 1/3rd of the school before one of the hostages gets popped. Is it because I wasn't using a suppressor, or is it because the people who made this want me to take a visit to the cuckoo bin?
is there some trick to tracking down the shooters in elephant before they can kill hostages? feels as if i am always just that bit too slow...
Mostly RNG it seems or having a buddy tag along and helping you out, me and my wife got an A with a roughly 8 min timer because we bum rushed it
pity, i had hoped that there was like some predictable enemy spawning that can be used... thanks a lot anyway
suspects already start stressed there so suppressors won't make a difference, you just need to be fast, usually 2 suspects on green side (1 up, 1 down), and another 2 suspects on blue side
if you play it enough, their spawns are quite easy to get used to
but what about travel time from one side to the other? afaik you cant really have the AI clear multiple rooms in sequence to ensure they get the suspects without being there with them, so i always end up with one dead guy on the other side than the one i am on...
(one dead hostage that is)
another tip is to make sure the area is fully secured before nabbing bombs also bring smokes since they clip through walls
can anyone verify about sleeper agent, you get it at end of mission or as soon as you fufil the requreiemnts?
the building connects from one side to the other so its quite easy to get to and from
instant no need to finish

alright thanks for letting me know about the suppressors. It appears to be impossible right now then. Like I said I've been rushing through, doing soft clears and fast breaches and I can barely even make it half way through the school before the shooters start lore dumping
they almost always spawn same spot, you'll get very used to it, also take the 2nd spawn point, its faster
like after about 10-12 suspects, I start to run out of enemies and my 15s window closes.
doesn't help knowing the spawns if I cant get to them haha.
i've even been completely bypassing locked rooms
Pretty sure you can arrest all suspects alive and execute them after, like big shell specialist
what i can also suggest is, use beanbags, flashbags, taser, stingers, flash/stinger launcher, i know gas and pepperballs are also good but they kind of waste time on that map for them to comply
yeah someone mentioned that, but there is also the problem with AI killing you once you start doing that, which happened when I did big shell lol

also just ignore most of the rooms and civs, take suspects as priority
yeah problem is I think that's even harder than just going in full lethal though
I have a mod that relaxes ROE so active shooters are free game. So I've been bringing the new battle Rifles. I dont have time to use any accessories besides the breaching ram. I'm literally sprinting down these hallways XD

you still need to restrain 15 suspects lesslethally first, and then you need to kill them without the AI getting to you, I think might aswell going guns and blazing is kind of faster
the way I did it is using just flash launcher, 4 shots, 4 suspects easy xD

Gotta ask the real question. When will we get a 7.62x39 weapon that isn't a tiny Draco looking thing. For example I believe French GIGN use a CZ Bren in 7.62x39 for police purposes. Would be cool to see that. Often I think x39 would be a good round to run but I ain't touching that musty AK variant in game.

yeah we have alot of 5.56x45, 7.62x51, we need more 7.62x39 now or even more pistol calibers such as .22LR, .380 auto, .40 S&W, .357 SIG, etc....

I've played the mission once but I took docks and breached top floor and worked down. Most suspects were immediately beyond the first set of doors on the right of where I spawned if that's of help
I didn't open the package on that mission I presume if you do open it you just die right?

If you look up GIGN CZ Bren 2 you'll see what I mean. 7.62x39 is used by specialised Police and anti terror units because it has good knockdown power, armour penetration as well as that it tends to tumble trough a target and is less likely to zip straight through a suspect into an innocent. It'd be really cool to see because the rounds already in game. As well as that it'd be cool if we had clear ballistic visors as opposed to just the Ops Core Gunfighter mandible we have in game to act as a ballistic face shield though I'm probably just dreaming.
