Personally I think 1.0 was a significant improvement over the beta/alpha builds, and from the people i've played with over the past 6/7 months the consensus has been the same

The single player map thing, they've said since 2021 they wanted a campaign. It wouldn't be much of a campaign if you just unlocked all missions from the get go.

It isn't much of a campaign even now tbh but it's what their intention was.

You're complaining about the hub world being added to 1.0. I'm stating the hub world was already there even before 1.0. You loaded into a police station, went into lockers to customize your gear, then went to the map room.

It's the same thing here now. They just expanded on what was already there. But complaining about it being added in 1.0 is just not valid.
They took a concept that was already there and expanded it while still making it similar to how it was before. You load into office, go to locker room to change gear, then go to map room.

Everyone agrees commander mode is ass, and I'm not denying that fact. While for people who liked the simplicity of just picking any map without any sort of progression, and doing whatever. The experience got a little tedious because now you have this campaign more where you have to complete the missions to unlock the next ones and progress through them. They failed quite bad on attempting to create some sort of story for the game through this commander mode unfortunately. 1.0 was a step in the right direction as it allowed them to lay a foundation for something better (hopefully) but for now we just have to wait and see if anything even comes from it.

its 50gb because that's the game file size. Every RoN update since 1.0 has made it so it rewrites the files entirely. I think it's something with steam, and how it reverifies every single file in the ron folder, rather than just applying the update. also new UE
