They're put in the description, but some weapons don't include it. Other than the in-game descriptions, you can't.

That should affect their morale negatively, meaning they'll be more likely to surrender. But raises stress, so they get more unpredictable. Supposedly.
And that random shooting I think is just the AI bugging out, going into cover, reloading and then shooting in your direction to suppress you. Even if there's 5 walls in-between you and the suspect.

If you kill people from Bolton, it makes sense for their friends to be like "Fuck this, I'm not getting paid to die", but killing vets from The Left Behind or the terrorists from The Hand should probably make them go berserk, like "You killed my brother, you fucker, RAAAAAAARGRHGRHRHRHRJ"

Ironically, the Five-Seven is the most reliable pistol I've used thus far, because of the armor pen and high bullet count. Easy to incapacitate targets with some quick taps. But I mostly run the M45A1 now, because cool tan gun chambed in 45 American Carnage Projectile
I rarely end up using pistols unless I'm trying to John Wick a level, so... pistols are just for show for me
I usually run Glock or 5-7

Arrest as many suspects as possible, do all objectives and soft objectives and if you have to open fire, do your best to shoot for incapacitations @stoic vortex
Works for every level
If you use AP on 5.56 rifles, you can go for 2 chest shots on armored targets and they'll be incapacitated or if you want to play it safe (or they don't have armor), go for shots in the pelvis. Avoid the right leg, because you'll hit their femoral artery and they will bleed out either with an animation or on the ground after you tie them and report them as incapacitated. The SLR47 and SA-58 can also incapacitate with AP, but... big boolet hurts a lot and may not work.
when i'm using the beanbag shotgun, sometimes it's not fully accurate, i'll line up the ironsights and i still won't hit them. is there some offset shot with the beanbag shotgun? is there an attachment everyone runs? or do i just suck, 😭. and yes i am stabilizing with shift.
Have you tried running a laser on it and point-shooting it ? Shotguns have much slower ADS and more movement than AR/SMG weapons when aiming and shooting while aimed
So if you're used to playing with ARs or SMGs, you might be aiming down the sights quickly as if you're playing with them, but shotguns are significantly slower so you end up shooting preemptively
And this is a guess, but there might be more inertia to the weapon as you sway your aim to the sides, since the weapon IS bigger and heavier

I only point-shoot when I play with NVGs or I'm clearing a tight space where I need the visibility more. Other than that, I don't have a problem aiming through the optic at all, even with the shotguns. I just take it a little slower with the shotguns, especially the beanbag since you don't have any spread to help you.
i say this cause sometimes my canted laser will be dead on the middle of a suspect and sometimes it won't hit then at all

But I did try point-shooting the bean bag with a red laser and it was actually pretty solid. Try it, might be your thing. I just like to run flashlights on everything, because RoN always has weird places where colors blend with each other over distance or there's some fog or something obstructing my vision

But overall, you don't have any grips to use to speed up aim time, so shotguns are ALWAYS slower to aim and use in comparison to other weapons, so keep that in mind in general

You actually ADS, but when you toggle point-shoot, the weapon pulls down and is rotated inwards by 45 degrees or so

When you click mouse and it doesn't fire
So when you're close range and you don't need accuracy, you can have much better vision of what's going on and you can also combine it with NVGs and IR laser to shoot very accurately. And with a laser or not, your gun is still ADS-ed, so your shots don't just go random places as if you hipfire. You just have a worse reference of where the bullets will go, unless you use a laser. But even then, if it's a normal red laser, you'll be losing the dot in some places.

The levels themselves tell a lot of the story
But after completing a level, take a right from the front desk in the LSPD HQ, keep walking straight until you find the Evidence Locker
oh so we can actually go in the evidence locker and see whats in there / what we detained in the levels?
In there, you can find file boxes with more colorful labels standing out from the map props and you can press F. Gives you a 3D model and a description outlining some things from each level
Sometimes more than 1 item, too
But overall, listening to the pre-mission briefings, the 911 dispatch call and then the level's environment is what gives you the most of the story
The briefing before the mission actually acts like a debrief on the mission before it. Most of the briefing recordings outline the connection between the previous mission to the one you're about to play

Newer names are more artistic, like a chapter name rather than just a codename thing like "gas station", "hotel", "ridgeline" or something. They also reference the mission's theme overall.

There's a very interesting story with this game, but they don't present it like a linear story with gameplay attached. If you have some patience, you can listen to the 911 call and the briefing in the HQ before you start the missions and you can observe the levels as you play or after you cleared it. The storytelling is mostly environmental.
Oh weird! if you look at the TH-X Camera in the evidence room and rotate it around, you can still see the whole room kinda in the screen lol
A Lethal Obsession specifically has I think 3 voice recordings from the suspect you can listen to and a bunch of weird conspiracy type stuff written about the house

if they are fully modeled and implemented into the game, why am i restricted from using them because its not realistic
as far as weapon selection goes for players to use, I would not give it too much thought as it is not really a VOID strength. They used advisors but for some stuff, but I dont really think they were trying to go for 1:1 for weapons. Sometimes its just random choices, and that is about it for the most part.

GTA 5 gives you laser guns and shit after you complete the campaign, every game has extras that dont pertain to the story

If you wanted to make Suspect weapons usable by the player you'd have to model their own unique viewmodels, attachments, and animations

now a SCAR-17 converted to 5.56 is actually a good gun but the 16 is a relabeled AR-15

First responders and SWAT are different things. When there's a shooter and you're a first responder, you gotta go in. If SWAT are called, it means suspects are already set in their positions, barricaded or hold hostages and when it comes to clearing buildings room by room, rushing in gets you killed immediately. Not even Navy SEALs rush through buildings. You never see bodycam shootouts where you have more than 3 people. A building crawling with meth heads or a hotel held hostage by veterans isn't something a beat cop with a glock can handle and it's not a situation where rushing in like those bodycam recordings will go well.

Turning the gas system into a short-stroke one similar to the SCAR or straight up like the HK416/SIG MCX and giving it a buffer tube for M4 sliding stocks (which they already do). And picatinny up the wazoo, but they also do that

Honestly, apart from giving the AKs polymer furniture and picatinny rails on the dust cover and handguard for easier attachment mounting, the only other change to the base AK-47 rifle has been the weird shit they did in the 70s and 80s with the AN-94 and the other one with the counterweight gear system. And those were expensive prototypes. AKs have been the same for a long ass time from what I know.

i usually just ignored the server did the whole building and the outside and then the server
I usually go around, clear the outside and roof, lock every single door outside and then enter through the left side. Clear meeting room and the boss' office, then the staff room behind the front desk, the lobby, the hallway on the right leading to the restrooms, then the long hallway before the server room, first server in the windowed-off section, up the stairs to the offices, shoot the big server room from the windows and then go down and clear the rest if there's anything left afterwards.
i am more lethal with a NON lethal ammo than i am with 5.56
Idk if its the ai mod I have but suspects just seem deaf sometimes. Ill walk up behind them and compliance yell and they just ignore me.

You have to turn on the option to save replays in the options, which turns itself off every time you start the game

Compared to its counterparts, the GA416 is the worst 5.56 gun in RoN
Also, you could probably argue that the BCM is worse because it has just as bad recoil, a lower firerate, supporter edition only, and uses a diccmod handguard instead of an MLOK one

Not really, they just go along with development since this is not a live service game. They notably have said nothing about fixing the alt f4 for ironman/campaign in general

which would also likely apply to people that suffer crashes or other things which would just be a spit in the face
Not saying it should be fixed, maily because of what you said. IOI tried to fix the same issue in Hitman, they just made a petty change where alt f4 made the game close itself instead of being force closed so that the game saved before it ended. Players can still do the same thing by closing it in task manager, so in the end it accomplished nothing.
I do think they will fix the other items that are in the players favor, like unique models and voice lines for suspects giving them away instantly
but either way I don't really see the enjoyment in cheesing a single player game especially when there is nothing to sorta fight for (leaderboards, rankings, etc)

Yeah I agree, it would only need to be fixed for a competitive multiplayer game. But I did use that cheese for my ironman watch run because when I did it the AI was beyond stupidly aware and accurate and likely to shoot through every wall. Now it's not so bad so there's not much reason to cheese it

There are no mods currently that affect SWAT AI pathing or action choice because those are too deeply coded without the SDK
Some mods affect some surface level SWAT AI stuff because its a numerical value that can be easily seen
The mods I usually run is like cosmetic mods and maybe some miscellaneous stuff

A suspect with armor even though their legs clearly has no visible armor on them it’s not like JHP will suddenly cripple them
You can shoot limbs with jhp but ap does more damage piercing armor so its better and easier to shoot for the chest with ap

JHP can reduce the amount of shots needed to down people on certain calibers but those are the only scenarios where I use them

SWAT 4 with Elite Force had JHP, JSP, FMJ, and AP all with different effects. This game is quite inspired by SWAT 4, and has some of the features only added in elite force so they might add it eventually

Well it definitely penetrates walls less for sure, I guess I haven't tested body penetration. It does do much better damage against soft flesh than AP, especially having a much lower damage penalty for limb hits

I think it may have been because of a change from Gunfighter, but slugs one tap incap suspects through any armor from any range, so they are really good for that. If they don't one shot then they are worse than buckshot
But yeah buckshot can sometimes one hit kill from very far due to a limb or head being destroyed
I would rather take a rifle and shoot two shots than roll the dice on shotgun spread though

Beanbag stuns regardless of armor - the only difference is when you shoot in the head; you’ll kill the suspect/civy if you do so

Suspect/civ AI cannot open doors with traps on it to prevent them from triggering them. If they did, it was a bug

I mean, if we open the door, we will activate the trap since the door open on that direction.
but they open the door from the inside so they didn't activate the trap. But since we just go in, we still step on the string and boom.
btw, your mod works fine. Haven't check the 50 and 75 but 25 works perfectly.
I have never seen sus/civ AI open a trapped door in either direction. I don't think trapped doors can be open at the start of the map, so I don't know what happened to you
They can walk into traps on a closed door though, but it is rare

We were playing on, uh, what that map called. The mission we have to secure 2 sniper rifle. From room 2204 or something.
We go right, the L shape hallway with 1 room that contains sniper in it. We got shot from the hallway and we shot back. That might the reason why suspect from the room open the door. We retreat a bit and throw smoke. The suspect retreat, we tried to enter that room which the door already opened and boom. We died. 
They can trigger the traps by walking up the door, though. I've had 3 cases where Gerard and the other 2 guys tripped a bomb inside the house, but none of them were down when I entered. They were all fine.
But I'm willing to wager that if a veteran triggers a trap on Ides of March with a civvie close by, the civvie will die

For example: I use 5.56 JHP vs 4.7 AP.
Nope, there is no muzzle kinetic/velocity. Suspect will be incapacitated after he lose 50% of total health
but every time you damage suspect with any caliber he lose 0.125 morale

If you use the MP7, P90 or Five-Seven, you can see much more incapacitations than other guns. Any gun has better chances of incapacitating targets with AP rounds, but if they're set on fighting you then the shots won't stop them in their tracks so you'll have to rely on quick shots in non-vital areas.
And to prove the point about the MP7, P90 and Five-Seven, take a Five-Seven, put AP rounds on it, enter the first level and shot the first suspect you see in the head with it ONCE. Instant 1-shot incapacitation. Does it make sense ? No. But it shows that the properties of the ammo does affect gameplay.
That thing that you 1-shot incapacitation just mean it's non enough damage to kill suspect
on gas all suspects have 360hp and you ap 5.7 bullet is only 70 damage
multiply in by 3 and you will get 210 damage
how does a mf 357 magnum make a guy with no armor unconcious with 1 shot to the chest IF IT BREAKS THE SPINE
so you won't kill suspect with 5.7 caliber to the head, only civilians

Don't use the in-game mod.io implementation
Take a picture or something of the mods you've got, unsubscribe from them then go in your game's folder>Content>mod.io and delete everything and then redownload the mods you had from Nexus
As for the mods, they're all .pak files. You just take the mod's .pak file and throw it in \steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks

And of course, check the mod page for any specific instructions and so on

Mods from Nexus come in .rar file and they mostly just hold the .pak file in there. You extract in the Paks folder and that's it.
Some mods will have different choices of files like the Surefire flashlights that you can choose 4 different brightness levels from the files.
Some mods have dependencies, so you gotta check those in the "Requirements" tab on the Nexus page. RoN mods are easy to use, even if the game doesn't have full mod support like say Skyrim and the like

The implementation is bad and some mods have different options to choose from and mod.io doesn't let you pick them. It just gives you some file and that's it. It's janky in general.
And yes, unsubscribe from the in-game menu and then go in the Content folder and delete the mod.io folder completely to get rid of any potential residual files
As for map mods, I haven't downloaded any yet, so I can't tell you. Just read what's on the mod page

There are only three maps with traps and only two with deadly. "A lethall obsession" is too small for a one gun to be a problem.

It's either Ides of March or A Lethal Obsession, I don't know if there are explosive traps on other raids. Sins of the Father has flashes and I know that the cult map is flashes, too

But I've noticed in multiplayer with my friends that guns just randomly get secured by themselves. In singleplayer, that's never happened.
Yeah, it often happens on this map. That why there is a trigger on some maps for weapons to "secure" themselves after some time. It is an awful solution for the problem as it only present on some maps and it breaks immersion.

Do anybody know how to unlock "Developer's Ruined Watch"? I finished the game on Ironman mode without losing an officer, I even got the achievement but that didn't work.

On some missions, for example, Greased palms, weapons will secure themselves with out you interaction with them after some time.
Did you fire any officer? Did they leave, baucse of stress?
Strange. Because for the achievement no offcer must die, but for the watch no officer must die, leave and get fired. Luckily, I got my watch on the first try.

Yes. SWAT AI is dumb and it follows command with out any tought. They might return fire, if they see a suspect, but they will not try to hide from fire or do anything.

SWAT AI does not really 'hear' enemies at all, so if they do not see an enemy, it does not exist for them, even if they take damage from it.

No, mod are not developers and developer will do nothing. So you should just redo the whole run on a new save. You might use a guide on Steam guides for the achievement.
That's funny. I set it so that they stack up on opened doorways by default and they always shoot back. It's sort of a janky version of limited penetration but it works
The only issue with them in combat is that they always move to their clear points despite taking fire when it should be like SWAT 3 where they stop to engage and then move to the clear point when threats are neutralized

Ok I am at the end of my patience. I have completed "The Hanged Man" achievement like 6 times now and it has still not awarded the achievement. I have ran with no menu no goggles just flashes and taser. What on earth could be holding back the achievement?

For the "use only" acheivements, spawn and swap off primary immediately. You cannot use or pull out: NVG, any long tactical, wedges, anything not listed on the achievement that requires left clicking, or the multitool. Your swat using rifles does not matter (and is in fact how you deal with most of the suspects), but do not have them do anything other than hold, stack up, cover, follow, enter and clear, open and clear, or kick and clear, and search and secure. Having them use any equipment will likely invalidate the achievement.
It can only be done in commander or practice as well

For hanged man and way out west they have to follow the same rules as you minus the primary weapon
That also probably means no shield for the ai, though I did not test
Just give everyone including yourself a mirror gun, breach shotgun, or a ram but never use them
Using a weapon with the shield counts as a separate type of weapon, so it would invalidate the achievement

If you care about unlocking your officer traits, keep their mental state in check by taking at least one quarter to one third of the suspects alive for the mission. To do this use nonlethal equipment: flashes/stingers/gas and the taser, combined with breaching doors with the battering ram/breaching shotgun/c2
and you gotta use nvgs and shit so its even scarier
But they are expendable if you don’t care
