I cried at arnaud's death and LET ME TELL U SOMETHING
I WAS NOT READY TO LOSE SOPHIA
WHEN SHE FELL DOWN I BE LIKE HUH GET UPPPPP WHAT U DOIN
WHY LEG BROKEN
DO U NOT SEE THE RAT WAVES
Thank God she's alive
I just finished playing the game btw ;--;
Tuesday 30 September 4 am
Stupid bald guy
Stupid
I proudly use the sling at his shining bald head
THOOOOO I'm curious about are they planning on making a modern plague tale game?? From the end credit ya know, the baby, I really need that macula DIEEEEEEEEE
I don't believe so!
What few comments we've had on it imply that it's mostly just there to show that the Macula & cycle continue on
Rather than as a tease for the next game
Especially cus the next game is a Sophia prequel game!
T_T it seems that king hugo ded for nothing , now i feel more sad
but cant wait for sophia!!
Well, I've always thought that at least it was on his own terms
That he made an awful mistake, but with what little will he had left was able to make sure he didn't destroy the world he loved so much
Same!!!
Though from the screenshots it looks like the soldiers she fights are wearing the colours of Provence, so a certain bald weirdo might be in it too
Arnaud's death always hits me so hard 😔
He's my no. 1 favourite, and the music and acting is just heart wrenching
I was also able to speak to his VA about it too!
:CC true the fact that in photo mode, he is really done for , maybe the little part of him using all the energy or "hugo" left just to make sure the rats dont kill amicia and lucas
though , idk if there will be rats , it seems like sophia is new to it in part 2
Well I was replaying the game a few weeks back
And technically Sophia is only new to the idea that there's a carrier who can control rats
She isn't necessarily new to the Macula, but I think it was confirmed that in the new game the Macula is using other vessels than rats!
Maybe Locusts or something idk

;0
well at least we know sophia aint gonna die
;DDDDD
THE WALLLLL
it was so fun using him as a companion
i killed everyone , spared no one, it was so easy T_T
i knew that he gonna die but i wasnt ready it was gonna be right away after the ship scene
and plus didnt he bald guy said , "that price has paid"???? and why is he back T_T
He knows that he still needs to get rid of Amicia
But he's basically trying to convince Arnaud to get loss by saying their blood debt is settled
Victor being responsible for Arnaud's son's death, and the people who Arnaud brought to the island being responsible for his wife's death
Victor is still convinced by the end that Arnaud is only driven by revenge and a thirst for revenge
While he fights Arnaud you can hear him shout "You don't care about them, you just want me!"
That's true! But all the promo mentions her beginning this quest with her crew, however I haven't seen any of them alive yet
Oh yeah 😮
I hope whoever close with Sophia not die 😭 just live in seperate ways or something
Sameeee but I also I think literally every character that isn't Amicia, Sophia, Melie and Lucas dies throughout both games
Beatrice, Robert, Conrad, Laurentius, Clervie, Vaudin, Herbalist, Herbalist's Wife, The Beast, Arnaud, Nicholas, Joseph, Vitalis, Milo, Victor, Emilie, Rodric, Arthur etc etc
Like everyone 😭
is milo really an antagonist?
or is he just someone trying to do what he thinks is right
He’s a slaver I’m pretty sure he’s an antagonist
But in his belief he was doing the right thing for the crown
For the child
I’m not arguing he’s not a bad person tho you’re right
Yes
Milo is in direct opposition to the protagonists
Is he a villain? Also yes
Even if he believed he was doing the right thing for the child that wouldn't justify being a slaver (iirc he's a slaver before he even begins child worship)
But that also isn't what he wants
Milo wants personal power and gain
He wants to win over the child so he can hopefully share in his power and take it for himself
This is why he doesn't like Victor and Emilie, he doesn't want to share favor and power with them
I've begun playthrough 22 after aaaages
I call on everyone to return to participating in this chat when discussing spoilers; there never was a good reason for discontinuing its use in the first place
So I guessed somewhat right, that they would flip back and forth between the two periods
...and just as I and many others feared: Assassin's-Creedification of A Plague Tale... seems poised to begin.
This is a real risk, I agree. Although I am obviously on board with making the franchise 'bigger', I hope they do not do it in the bloated way AC did
AC too often allowed the side stuff and the bloat to overshadow the identity of the series with the Isu stuff, the pieces of Eden etc
I don't think just yet. Since this is more a spinn off with a character we know.
AC ification would be about someone completely different in a different period, mostly unreleated to the original.
I would start calling it that if they made another PT game, about the exact same plague with Amicia finding the next carrier
Alright alright I guess I'll give it to you this time, spin-offs need not necessarily constitute what I fear in this case (so long as they don't become particularly numerous).
Well both you and I know there may be only one version of that "expansion" which could actually work (I think you need not reminding what I exactly mean by that), and even that one rests on it being the last one so the franchise as a whole remains, at most, a trilogy.
I think this might be their last installment for the franchise for a while. But that's just my educated guess
Judging by the trends and their general behavior since Requiem - I think so as well (but am fully open to the possibility of my wrongness in that prediction).
The funniest thing a Plague Tale fan can do is convince all the Pragmata fans that if they liked defending and caring for a child they should play A Plague Tale I&R.
Then you sit and watch thier heart get ripped out in real time when they get to the end of Requiem.
Just finished the game and I feel very unsatisfied
And it's not hugo dying
couldn't care less if everyone died
Why did Macula let hugo die at the end there if he did die
why did the rats fall back while we walked towards hugo who completely submitted, heck said in the dream/illusion that he can't do anything about it
